I made an appointment in June or July in preparation for another colonoscopy this year. The earliest date available was the end of August. Less than 48 hours before my appointment I received a phone call from someone that said they were having trouble verifying my insurance. My insurance hasn't changed. However, she then told me that the practice no longer accepts Medicare. I don't know if it was my Medicare plan or all Medicare plans. She didn't offer any further explanation, just told me that I couldn't see the doctor. I asked about paying out of pocket, and she just said, 'No'. The doctor is great! I know she's been with this practice for a long time. In my case they had all of my insurance information since the last colonoscopy, nothing had changed. I received no less than five robocalls informing me that I was due for a colon screening this year. If they were no longer accepting my insurance plan, I should not have been able to even schedule an appointment. The only contact I should have received was an alert informing me that my insurance was no longer being accepted by the practice. Now I'm left to 'shop' for a gastro-doc. Not happy.

He was very quick to identify issues and alarms regarding my vitals and contacted the pharmacist to verify I had written my RX dosages correctly. He took immediate action, got me the additional help I needed being other physicians to my aid as well. I was very ill. Dr. Al stayed on my case and helped me to ensure I was receiving the care I needed, but also had a voice. He made sure I received mental support and care as well. I I have not ever witnessed Dr. Al act as a pill pusher or pill mill. I do not understand these people saying terrible things about him. He is very careful and does not just write RX for the ask. If it is an area outside his expertise, he refers to another Doctor. He has been that way with me and my family from day one.

Business cards and brochures on other medically involved issues that they can help treat, including mental disorders( in house psychiatric office) All insurance seems to be accepted, even state and government aid. My nurse and doctor will ask questions to really get to the root of any concern, and from the looks of it, they are not truly out to feed the pharmacies unless it needs to happen. That helps me build a huge amount of trust in their approach. There are posters and information on nutrient deficiency and treatment options. If you have not yet heard on treatment via nutrient therapy.. do some research. Totally worth it. Parking is ample, but you will miss the entrance if you blink! Find "newks" restaurant. The medical building is BEHIND that one. There should be a small almost invisible sign between two entrance ways. If you passed Best Buy, you've gone way too far. Think small drive way that belongs in small neighborhood lol.
