Chicken Korma and Beef Sheekh Kebab
Marlena H.

Just had dinner at Aladdin Kebab House! 5 Stars for service, hospitality, and food. The owner was so friendly. We told him it was our first time and that I was indecisive on what to get. I told him i was looking at the butter chicken but love spicy. He recommended the Korma Dish and the Beef Kabobs for my boyfriend. Absolutely amazing. The flavors and freshness were awesome! it's BYOB and there is liquor store next door. They also have a patio and hookahs with all the flavors. The combo dishes come with chickpeas in this awesome curry sauce, salad, rice, and fresh hot buttered Naan bread. Come support a locally owned business! We will be back.

So glad we made it out to this off the beaten path Indian restaurant. They have a concentrated but delicious menu with some great options. Make sure you try the off menu Butter Chicken combo. And get some of the hummus and naan. It's the way to go.

Great food, lovely owners. FInally found a quality Indian/Pakistani restaurant in our area. First off the place is very clean and nice, spacious. Asked what they recommended and he dutifully pointed me to the korma which was a fine suggestion. It was easily some of the best korma I've ever had, the chana masala (chickpeas) were also sublime. The rice pilaf was expertly cooked, and the nan was absolutely brilliant. I could easily go crazy here and spend a small fortune on a gourmet style spread of good cuisine and it would be a pleasure to gorge out tooo. They're not exactly inexpensive but the quality of the food is definitely commensurate with the price. I had no issues with paying $20 for my plate. I can tell they've definitely tailored the menu toward Caucasian tastes, blah blah tikka masala (boring), I'd love to see more authentic dishes like Nihari, Karahi Gosht, Pasanda, and Biriyani but I'm definitely going to bring my son who adores tikka masala, and I'll get myself some kebabs specifically a Seekh kebab and I'm sure I'll leave happy and full. This place is a real gem, go now!

Stopped in after a day at nearby P-6 farms. It was Sunday afternoon and the place was empty. During our meal few other patrons came in. Service was polite and courteous. We ordered the hummus, the chickpea curry plate with samosa, the chicken tikka with bone, and the kheer for dessert. The appetizer hummus came with store bought pita, was flavorless, and left us concerned that the rest of the meal would also be. We were pleasantly surprised by the deliciousness of the rest of our food. The chickpeas are warm and savory, the chicken cooked perfectly, juicy and evenly spiced, and the kheer (rice pudding) provided a decent closing although I usually prefer it a little bit sweeter. Also, the meal came with buttery tandoori naan. Although I would avoid the hummus, I will be adding Aladdin to our regular rotation for all the other gems. Aladdin adds some much needed variety to the neighborhood offerings and I hope they are able to continue to grow.

First time back to Aladdin kebab in a long while and wow! Food was amazing. I love the changes they made and the people were so kind. Kids were obsessed with the chicken strips and the beef shawarma. I had the butter chicken and it was phenomenal. Everyone was eating off my plate. And the chickpea curry was yum! Will definitely be back.

Great place, their prices are very reasonable and the food is always great. Sadly as of 11/12/25 they appear to have closed.

Why 4 stars? Because it was a perfectly fine experience…read more --- --- --- After landing at IAH, I was on the hunt to grab something quick on the way home. I had an alternate plan initially, but timing didn't work out for me, so I perused my bookmarks as I took the parking shuttle to my car and settled on Curry Masala. I called them once I got to my car and was told my order would be ready in about 20 minutes, as my GPS read out that I was 20 minutes from the restaurant. Everything was coming up Milhouse. Because I am a basic B, I ordered chicken tikka masala and butter chicken. It was ready about 3 minutes after I arrived, and off to home I headed. I enjoyed both, but thought the tikka masala was definitely the better of the two, and the wife agreed. We had a favorite Indian spot really close to here that has unfortunately closed down, so I have been on the hunt for a new one. Curry Masala did not quite match that level, but it's not a bad option when in the area.

I chose this place because of the good reviews. They offer two options a buffet or ordering from…read morethe regular menu. We ended up doing the $20 buffet. It looked really good, but unfortunately it was the worst Indian food I've ever tried. Even the better dishes weren't that great. I'm not sure if it's because we came during Ramadan, but the food definitely needs improvement.

Dined at Aga's today for my birthday dinner, and it was a phenomenal experience. I had set a…read morereservation for 6 p.m. My family and I arrived at 5:55. Once inside, we were greeted by the hostess, who, once I told her of my reservation, took us to our table. Once we were seated, we were promptly greeted by our server, Saman. She told us she would give us a minute to decide on what we were wanting and that she would be back. I already knew what I was wanting as I was very excited to eat here, but I wanted to give my family a chance to look over the menu in case they wanted to pick out something different. We were brought water by one of the other servers, and then Saman came back and asked if we were ready. I ordered: -Chai with Jaggery: 7/10 was good but not something I would order every time; it's an acquired taste. It was sweet but with a mild bitterness at the end. -Daal Matka 10/10; this is one of my favorites. -Chicken Tikka Masala 10/10; another favorite of mine. Ordered this a bit spicier than it already is. -Butter Chicken 10/10 no notes it was delicious -Garlic Naan very 10/10; very soft and flavorful. My husband ordered: -Goat Kabab White Karahi 8/10; first time having this; it was good and I would order again in the future. My parents ordered: -Chicken Briyani 10/10; very flavorful and chicken was very tasty and tender. -Plain Basmati Rice 10/10; for white rice, it was good, wasn't overcooked or mushy. Cooked very well. -Aga's platter 9/10; has a variety of meats to try; all delicious. -BBQ Chicken Wings; 8/10 was good for an appetizer had great flavor and they were fall off the bone tender -Mint lemonade pitcher 10/10; this was the best lemonade I've ever had; it was very refreshing. My kiddo ordered: -Chicken Nuggets with Fries 10/10; he ate all his food with no complaints. -Mango Lassi 10/10; very delicious, I would order this every time -Pistachio Kulfi 10/10; had never had this before and I would definitely order it again in the future. Very creamy; not too sweet but you can taste the pistachio which I loved. Btw these are all his ratings and I have to say I agree with them. The food came out very quickly I'd say within 15-20mins for all the food. Taher (another server) saw I was taking pictures of each dish and asked if he could take our picture and pictures of all the food on the table. That helped us out a lot and he honestly didn't have to. Once the food was placed on the table we dug in and everything was absolutely delicious. A little while into our meal a gentleman who looked like a manager or upper management (unfortunately I didn't get his name) stopped by and asked us how we were doing and how we were enjoying our meal and how we heard about Aga's. He mentioned one of our dishes on the table was what they were known for and told us he appreciated us dining with them tonight. We continued to eat and after a while we were all pretty full and decided it was time for dessert. We asked Taher for to go boxes which he promptly brought us and we packaged up our left overs. Saman came back and helped us decide what to pick for dessert and my son decided on (the white blocks) or the Pistachio Kulfi. Our entire experience from beginning to end at Aga's was perfect. You are greeted by everyone once you walk in and everyone you pass on your way out the building thanks you for dining with them. We honestly weren't there that long the service was so quick it's like a well oiled machine. The vibe is nice in the restaurant it obviously will get louder as more people come in but you are still able to enjoy the conversation at your own table without having to be too loud. I will most definitely be back in the future to enjoy some more delicious dishes.

Most of the customers during my visit were Indian, so that was a good sign. The name of the restaurant sounded a little familiar but it turns out they have over 20 locations in 4 different regions of the world. Their 1st US restaurant was in Houston and their 1st franchise restaurant was this location in The Woodlands. With so many choices on the menu, some items I've never even heard of, I took a chance on a new curry I had never eaten which the server said was spicier than the vindaloo. I chose the andhra curry with goat and a garlic naan. The dish was around $18, plus with the naan and it wasn't exactly a bargain priced meal for one. The curry was possibly a tad bit spicier than my usual vindaloo at other Indian restaurants and it had a very nice flavor. My biggest complaint was that the dish was smaller than I expected. I was able to eat all the curry and most of the naan, which I'm usually never able to do at most Indian restaurants. Service was very friendly though, so I will be back to try other dishes soon.

The spicy has heat but a different type than I usually have (it's like black peppery). Came with two drumsticks and two other small pieces. Pour the yogurt they give with it to turn down the heat. Also got the butter masala with chicken aka butter chicken. Comes with white rice. I liked it more than the briyani. Also got the garlic naan. Loved that one. The sole worker was running frantically between tables and doing take away and the cash register. Geez. Felt bad for him so I can't complain that I didn't get a water refill but I really needed it because of the spice. Sucks. Nothing really wow'd me here but it did satisfy the craving we had for butter chicken
