The compressor on our refrigerator went up over Memorial Day weekend, and Aladdin was on the manufacturer's list of approved repair companies. They returned my call immediately on the first working day after the holiday, and had a repair person out to my home that afternoon. Although they could not do the compressor replacement themselves, they had all the paperwork organized and provided the name of the company that could do it. (The repairman even called that company to let them know I'd be contacting them.) They explained the process I would have to go through with the manufacturer to get the part replaced under warranty. I was very impressed with their knowledge, organization and willingness to help! If we need assistance in the future with any appliance repair, I will definitely call them. read more

I have used them twice for my dryer. It was a quick, easy, and safe. As a woman living alone, it's uncomfortable sometimes to have a stranger come in to your house to perform work, but Dennis is an older gentleman who is extremely nice. So rude! Was provided a date and time range by GE for a dryer repair and was instructed that Aladdin would confirm the night before. The day came and went. When I called the provided number I left a message and Aladdin never called back. When I called GE to reschedule they contacted Aladdin and had them call me directly. The man kept asking why I didn't confirm (which was his job), and why I didn't call (which I tried to do)! And then upon hearing I had a stacked dryer he said he couldn't help me and to call back to GE! Can't work on a stackable dryer? What is this place?!? read more

We had purchased our LG refrigerator from Sears Outlet (first mistake). Within 3 months we were having issues with frost buildup and many other issues and needed a new control board. Contacted LG who gave us the runaround for 7 months. Finally we were connected with Aladdin's, who was the only company willing to follow through with service. They were professional, excellent communication leading up to the service, explained the process that needed to be done in order to file under the warranty (hopefully LG will honor). They were on time and completed the work in under an hour. No mess, no fuss. Completely professional. He took the time to talk with me about different brands, gave me recommendations on how to care for our refrigerator, as well as some tips on future appliances, what to look for and what to watch out for. I felt at ease and trusted that I would be left with a fridge that was even better than when I purchased it. 7 month of my nightmare finally over. I needed a burner fixed on our gas range. LG said Aladdin would call me to set up an appointment. Days passed and I finally called Aladdin and the guy said they'd been trying to get a hold of me but I never returned their calls which wasn't true. I never had a missed call or voicemail from them. He then questioned me as to why I waited so long to have this repaired... which was so rude! This was our second go around with a company as the first company to come out was unable to fix it correctly. He said he would call me later to make an appointment. Never did! Then I called again, they told me they'd be out next day between 11 and 1. I put our dogs up and waited. Never showed... the guy told me when I called that I didn't confirm even though the appointment was made less than 24 hrs before! he said they would come the next day and never showed! I called and left multiple messages and they never called back. This is horrible business and horrible customer service! read more

My washer machine had been down for almost 2 weeks and I was having a hard time getting someone to come in a timely manner.. All seemed well when I originally spoke to the guy who answers and schedules. They were able to get out in about 4 days.. I have a household of 5 people (three kids), so clothes were piling up and people were running out of necessities. Didn't help that covid has most of the laundry mats closed in the area. So being quite handy myself I decided I could probably fix the pump myself (it wasn't draining). So I do the research, find out its a super simple job, 30 minutes tops. Now my washer, its a Front loader, always kind of leaked. Well after doing the service on it, it was leaking more.. I never canceled the guy coming out because I wanted to make sure the job was done properly and I don't have a shit load of personal time being I run my own business. The repairman was dressed in really nice clothes and about 70 years old, could barely walk up the stairs. He did not look like he was there to work. Gave me a hard time because there was work done to it previously and that I had my hands in it. Asked me why I wasn't doing the job myself, like it was any of his business in the first place. Made every excuse in the book to not do any work and eventually left without doing any work. He stated he wasn't going to charge us like he was doing us a favor. Super rude, and frustrated the living hell out of me.. Obviously I wouldn't recommend this company. Its a shame I had to even give them one star. Be advised, steer clear of these lazy old men. read more

Not a good experience with them. Called them to repair the stovetop in a rental unit of ours (two burners not working). They charged me $110.00 for the visit and only fixed one of the two burners. I called them two weeks later when the renters said they still only had three burners working, and the owner said "he thought I didn't want the last burner fixed"...couldn't believe I what I was hearing. He then said he'd order the required parts and the job would be done within another two weeks. That was three months ago and the job still isn't done. now I'm out the $110.00 and I still have to get a different company to finish the job. read more

Aladdin did a repair on the ice maker of my new LG refrigerator. The tech saw that the unit was not level. The floor is not level so he leveled the ice maker and now we no longer get big frozen puddles of ice. It has been working great my wife and I love having nice loose usable ice cubes. Called them up to service a dryer that would not run and gave them a detailed description of the issue over the phone. They sent a tech over and after we described the issue he said it is broken and can't be fixed without doing any real work. We were then charged $109.95 and the tech left with 15 minutes of his arrival. Very disappointed that we were charged for a service call when absolutely nothing was done, and the diagnosis could have been given on the phone. read more
