This weekend I took my mom for a mother daughter date and she's been wanting to come here. Since it was Easter weekend, the festivities were on and poppin! The kids were going down the huge slide with the potato sacks to several food trucks. We came for U-Pick sunflowers and strawberries. The strawberries this time around were wayyyyyy more ripe and vibrant than a month ago. Boy, was I so happy that we came when we did. My mom went crazy picking so many berries. Then we walked out into the field which the sunflowers were located. The sunflowers were so beautiful and had these large stems. They do give you scissors to cut them. The food trucks had a great variety from American to Jamaican. The food stand was even open and we tried their hand pressed lemonades and macaroons. I love this place and highly recommend making the trip out here when they are open!

The farm is huge with plenty of space to pick berries, and the berries are so fresh and delicious! They also have a cute little farm store that was so fun to look around in, and plenty of snacks, meals, and drinks to try! I got a strawberry milkshake, and it was genuinely the best milkshake I've ever had. I definitely recommend this place for a date, a hangout with friends, or even a little solo trip. It's a very relaxing activity and is a great way to get some sunlight.

I took my 2 year old son on Halloween. It was surprisingly not very busy that day but, apparently, that was not the norm. My son was too tired to explore much and just wanted to be held. So I decided to take him on the hayride. It was a nice ride out to a pasture where a herd of cows were grazing. The driver took us right into the middle of the herd and they swarmed us, knowing it meant food. Alex was scared by the cows, but I was impressed and enjoyed feeding the cows the feed they provided. I would say we were out there for at least 10 min before they took us back. Again I tried to get Alex to play, unsuccessfully. But we did take a short walk through the corn maze which he seemed to like because it was an easy path to follow. After that, he explored some tractors they had set up in the play area. I tried to get him interested in romping around in the hay play fort, but he wasn't very interested. The farm offered another little ride which we got on and I think he liked it. I know I did. I'm such a kid at heart. We didn't hang out long after that because Alex was just exhausted and so was I. I feel like it was a nice time shared with my son. It had potential to be much better if he had taken a nap that day and was well rested. I thought the pumpkin patch was small. The play area was really nice. They did offer a concession stand. One of my coworkers said the burgers were great and a good price. Sadly, I didn't get a chance to taste them myself. Since this was their first year, I definitely see room for improvement. It definitely has potential to become something really great. It was definitely worth the $8 spent.

Are people sitting side saddle? My daughter is small but put her legs down. Our friend pushed out away from the table. Otherwise, they have long tables-great for groups, high top tables for 2-inside/outside, rockets, cushy lawn chairs by fire pits. So relaxing. Service So friendly, attentive Menu What I love is the changing seasonal menu. If you had the broccoli corn bread-you will love the maycaw cornbread-C and P farm is the largest producer of maycaws in the world-fun fact! It is sweet, dense, corny taste-yum! Served with sweet fresh butter that is air light! We had the lamb sandwich served with a side. I wondered at first glance at the lamb-kind of a lam loaf-not like a gyro, served with mint and something else on the most AMAZING wheat bun!! The sauce-not typical tziziki but really delish. I chose the squash which was sautéed with dill-not my fav but the squash was cooked perfectly. We also had the shrimp and grits-a Jax fav that consistently pleases. Our friend had the chicken with heat sandwich-toasted bun, house pickles/many, slivers of onion, battered chicken breast, with a douse of hot sauce. If you like the heat-this is your sandwich-served with medium sliced fries. Very tasty. There is a separate dessert menu but we were full-satisfied. Re: drinks-house beers, ciders, iced tea-no lemonade, aske for 2 carafes of water as the glasses are on the small size. Note Walk the farm-see the animals, landscape-great walk after or before a meal. Think about wedding or special occasion spot. Summary This is our fav go to place to est esp when headed to the airport-very chill vibe, outstanding food, great service. Love this place!
