But their website has a plant list that seems up to date and so we came with a list of what we wanted - one of the owners told us where the plants we wanted were located and gave us a wagon to go out and get them. I've never been anywhere where they specialized only in native plants and they've been doing it so long that the owner wrote a book about it. He even autographed a copy for me. We got there a bit later than expected so went straight to the blueberry fields- they had a variety of varieties, just starting to ripen, will be lots of picking for the next few weeks- priced by the pound they are a great value compared to store prices - we went for the large berries to make jam, syrup and pies, the petite ones would be perfect for muffins and pancakes- it was a wonderful morning with my son and well worth the drive.

For the 2017 season, they charged $3 per pound for U-Pick and $4 per pound for We-Pick [They-Pick]. The prices are way cheaper than the grocery store and you support a family-owned local Florida blueberry farm instead of getting your blueberries from Chile or New Zealand during off-season. We buy in bulk and freeze the rest. When the farm is open to the public and you would rather just pick up some blueberries instead of picking (it's usually pretty hot during blueberry season), it's recommended you call ahead so they can have your blueberries ready for you. Definitely worth the drive and something fun for the whole family. Remember, season is short so don't forget to mark your calendars for next season! :)
