What a fun experience! We walked in with a party of two and were immediately greeted and given instructions on how everything works. One of the girls behind the counter went upstairs and saved us a table and prepared it with what we would need. They have a lot of different pottery pieces to choose from and a bunch of different paints to use. It took us about two hours to complete our pieces and about a week for them to be ready for pickup. A fun note to add is that you can order a drink while you paint-water, sodas, and hard seltzers. We had a great time and plan to go back in the future! read more

My mom and I went to Corks & Colors and ended up painting mugs. We thought we'd be there for an hour, but it easily turned into three because we were so relaxed and having such a good time. They have a great variety of pieces to choose from, and the whole environment feels cozy and creative. The only thing I'd mention is that the music kept shifting from loud to soft, which was a little distracting. If you're sensitive to sound, sitting outside might be a better option next time (the outdoor seating was full when we went). Overall, we loved it and will definitely be back. A fixture of the date night calendar, Corks and Colors is an enjoyable time for people of any skill level. I don't consider myself very artistic but I've always had a great time on my multiple visits here. They do a great job teaching and offer many varieties of paintings to choose from. When we turned in our final products we were told it would take a week to get back, and when we came back to get them they looked amazing. They have a pretty good selection of bowls, plates, banks, etc. They also have tons of colors of paint, with interesting names too. ugh. my husband and I were so excited for a date night of painting pottery. We've been to a few different places in the towns we've lived in the past and it's one of our favorite date nights. We are not good at it at ALL. However, this was the worst experience we've ever had. We purposely went when the mugs were only $10. They only had one type of mug that was $10. It was very small. Probably 10oz. and they only had TWO of them. If you had a large party/family then you would have been out of luck. Disappointed in the terrible and small mugs, we looked at other things. I've never been to a place where the pottery is SO EXPENSIVE. The selection was VERY VERY SMALL. Not a lot to choose from AT ALL. We chose a large mug (for $20!) and the small mug. The other places we went to has always had stencils, pencils, and different types of paints to use, for example squeezable paints for writing or designing. This place had ONE type of paint and NOT a lot of colors. Literally all you can do is paint the pottery. Forget about being creative or trying something new. The owner didn't smile or check on us or offer to help or anything. She was very wrapped up in some guy who came in to talk to her. We knew you had to coat the pottery at least three Time from going to other places but she never told us that? My husband made a gift for his mom (it was a goofy inside joke) but the owner (without asking) out our unirlas on it at the bottom, which we didn't want or like. There were also A LOT of dust/particles on the mugs when we picked them up. This is usual but we've never had THAT MUCH on any of the ones in the past. I would not recomendad this place. read more

This place is always top notch service. My wife and I love seeing young couples date painting or even double date painting, ceramics or many other artsy stuff... We discovered this place by accident but it's crazy fun. Make it a first date, night out with the guys or just come play solo (the girls are a blast and love to teach :) Our kitchen is full of our custom painted dishes, cups, bowls and serving platters. They have great prices on alcohol so if you drink, you can make out like a bandit but it can get expensive if you go a few times each month and pick larger projects so talk to the staff and let them know your budget so they can get you some great art without breaking the bank. :) read more

This was such a hit for a family birthday party for our 12-year-old. Three generations of our family attended and everyone had a blast and felt successful. The staff members were so very accommodating and kind and talented. The way they teach made it so everyone left with a painting they liked. We never felt rushed. Coming from Texas I used to go to a place like this a lot. However the staff here is awesome. The owner is always here and making sure everyone is enjoying them selves. My last visit my gf messed up her pottery she was painting (not there fault at all) and when we picked up the pieces we did, they offered for her to redo it for free. Went here a while back and man was it horrible. $25 to paint one wineglass when you can buy a wineglass at most stores for like $5 and paints for glassware at any craft store! Come on a little unreasonable. The staff said it came with instruction and I was there when there was a wineglass class and it didn't seem very helpful and not really well set up. I wanted to paint pottery really bad so I decided to give it a chance. That of course was expensive and they said they would call when it was ready. It was loud and very cluttered and gross in the place with wet paint on my table and gross bathrooms. Went 3 weeks later without a call with my piece okay, but stacked below other people's pieces and not cared for. I eventually said something online and the owner, I think Becca, contacted me and gave me an assurance that if i came back it wouldnt happen. She sounded phony, with her voice and attitude, and I talked with many other people that had the same issues. Man were her reviews inaccurate. I am not a prude at all but when I pay $23 for 1 plate I expect some courtesy and care for the piece and not to be ignored. I thought the reviews meant this place was amazing but please head my warning...don't go and waste your money. Worst experience, by far. read more
