What a nice event for the charity organization in Fernandina Beach-Barnabas. This event we painted green ware bowls to be fired for the Empty Bowls fund raiser in November. The Makery donated the bowls, paint etc to help the cause. There were at least 30 women and 1 man ready to take up their brushes for a good cause. The goal is 900 bowls for the event but I believe other bowls will be provided. Otherwise you can come in here and buy a piece of pottery and paint for a birthday party, bridal shower or book club, etc. She has all kinds of cool things. They also have wood pieces you can paint besides the pottery.

Coastal Christmas Tree fits on a narrow shelf too!

I love art- for inspiration, or picking up art in mediums I don't have access to or haven't tried…read moreyet. Fiber art is one of those mediums I know little to nothing about- especially and sun-print on fabric art. I've stopped int his gallery before and always consider it a treat. This time we were fumbling outside in the rain looking for masks, because of a sign on the door, when a lady threw the door open and said- come in! Oh thank goodness. It was cold and raining. I was the hold up. Once inside- I saw several pieces of art I loved, but in the front window had hues of blue ink on fabric and the creator used ferns and leaves and such to be printed on small pieces of fabric. There were bigger pieces or art that included stitching and had a quilting feel. Beautiful embellishments. I also love glass art- I have plenty of it throughout my house already. But I was hung up on that one artist work. The back corner had a bunch more of pieces- including smaller, less expensive ones. I was him-hawing. I loved the colors. Blues and greens are my favorites & there was one that just caught my eye. My girlfriend was trying to point out the less expensive ones. I was about to walk away when she mentioned she thought the lady who let us in was this artist. What!?!? She was right and I jumped in and grabbed the one I loved. Always happy to meet the artist and make that connection! Definitely stop in for an eclectic mix of art mediums.

Great little art gallery with a variety of mediums from local artist for purchase. Definitely worth…read morestopping in.

The space is bright, welcoming, and full of personality..every corner has something that catches your eye and makes you want to linger. The artists here pour so much heart into their work, and you can feel it the moment you walk through the blue door. I loved how intentionally curated everything was. Nothing felt mass‑produced or generic; it's the kind of studio where you can find pieces that truly tell a story.. If you're visiting Fernandina Beach, this studio is a must‑stop. It's the perfect blend of creativity, charm, and local artistry. It is the kind of place that stays with you long after you leave. Absolutely a 5‑star gem.

I found myself wanting more pottery and hand woven baskets! They have photography, paintings, jewelry, cards, prints, pottery, baskets and more! It's a little reverent for me to walk into someone's studio space- it's a sacred space for creating, I understand this completely and I am always humbled to be in another artists space. I highly recommend you climb the stairs and explore for yourself!

I have some sort of mental block when it comes to starting up the quote "easiest chainsaw to start" according to Adam who sold it to me. I truly believe Adam.... as when he starts it, it does start right up, but hand it to me a few hours later and well.....let's just say I need Adam again. I know it's some mental block between me and this chainsaw because I can get it to start... sometimes, or maybe I just need a good dose of Adam occasionally (he is awesomely fantastic) and he knows his chainsaws! I don't always need Adam for chainsaw problems, sometimes I need a metal trash can for chicken feed or some plants or a pipe outside broke during the mini-freeze and I needed and expert on what to get to repair it. Just call me Deborah fix it lady, but even fix it ladies need expert advise on areas less travelled. From the employees working with the customers on the sales floor, to the cashiers up front-this store is just all around fantastic and did I mention Adam??? Oh yes, I did need to bring the chainsaw in one day when Adam was not there an another nice young gentleman helped me understand how to tighten up my chain and figure out if it's best to replace or sharpen the chain. Wow, such a learning curve I apparently need/have around such handsome guys! ROFL!
