What colors were in the basket at the table and how to add little detailed bits at the end with some of the more focused application models that they have that has the glaze in it. The only downside to the whole event was that there were not really a lot of fine brushes, however that maybe because I didn't know where to look I was trying to supervise my daughter while also painting something, but we finished within the two hour time limit and we're really excited about our pieces and they were able to help me put handprint on it from kiddo. And I would say that I did not expect that it would be $64 to paint and fire the two animals that we selected. Prices are clearly marked and I just missed the pricing on these but overall it was a good time. Came in with my girlfriend for my birthday on Friday the 30th to do some pottery painting. We had a…read moregood time yesterday and we both had a great experience painting but neither finished, and the employee working at the time told us our pieces could either stay there or be taken home to revisit again soon. We choose to leave them there to come back this Saturday afternoon to finish them. When we came back around 6pm it was really busy so her and I waited until we were spoken to and then communicated to an employee we were told we could leave our pieces here- and were told they weren't supposed to do that and that they couldn't find the 2 pieces. We were both already sat and wanting to do the work so we were discussing if we wanted a refund or to start fresh on new pieces. We spent around 10 minutes talking about this and not once were approached, after around 5 minutes of waiting to be attended to the other worker in the store that was handling the party- asked what was going on and offered to look for the pottery again. She looked again and was able to find it- at this point it had already been 20 minutes, so she gave us the pieces and we were just sitting there. We proceeded to sit there and wait for her or the other worker to approach us about paint (since you cannot go get your own paint here by policy), and were not approached for another 15 minutes. At this point, even with how excited her and I both were to come back to paint.. with the experience of our pieces being lost- then found, and then being made to wait on top of that was kinda experience ruining and my girlfriend wanted to leave. Both workers were quite nice, especially the one handling the party just wish there was more workers scheduled for weekends that are so packed- felt kinda forgotten.

You also left all paint items at your table in a basket so they could clean them between uses. There is a good amount of items to make a selection from and there are rotating seasonal items. The prices are pretty fair considering there are no sitting fees. The cost of the item includes the sitting time, the paint, and the firing. I thought about the ceramics place at Avenues Mall but didn't want to drive so far. We found a new option right by us in Durbin - The Hot Spot. We walked in and were immediately asked if we wanted to make free slime. Immediately I was in. We filed into the back room to get supplies like glue, activator, glitter, decorative gems and even shaving cream. They walked us through the process. And helped us when our slime got too sticky. We chose a cat and flower to paint and then pick up after these were fired. There were other options like canvas painting, mini gardens, candle making and mosaics. The gardens had fairies and mushrooms and were very cute! Everyone who worked there was friendly. It was clean. It was full of creative energy and fun paint colors to choose from!

I checked the business hours, it was supposed to be open, so I drove all the way there. The store was locked, dark, and no sign indicating they were closed for an emergency. There is even a doorbell to ring "during business hours". I rang it three times. Nothing! I called the two numbers on the windows. Nothing. I text the cell number. Nothing. She finally texted the next day with some lame excuse why she didn't keep her promises business hours. I could even tell it was a huge fib! She will NEVER get my business, again.

I'll tell you about Jolan Gamblin, Jill Hunter and Gail Husveth first. They are great. I took their picture (which is with my review). They told me about how great it is to be a part of the Gallery and also hooked me up with another multi-media art group where I can pursue more with my art skills (yeah!) excited! What a great place! They have beautiful paintings, sculptures, and a variety of other things like jewelry and beautiful stained glass window decorations. I bought a beautiful one for myself. The shop is right next to the St Augustine pier so it's right on the beach! Awesome! What a great place to just stop by when you are at the farmer's market or getting some tan-on while enjoying the beach. You can park in the pier parking lot and look for them right next to the pavilion on the north side. A little touch and go to find, but they are tucked in right next to the water. If you really can't find them just look for the fire trucks on the street just north of the pier parking lot, follow that side road to the end, take a right and you are at the gallery. But there isn't really much parking there, so try and get a spot in the big lot. But the gallery is definitely worth the work. There is street parking or on one of the side streets and walk in. The scene is great, so it's all good. I am an Ancient City Poet and we are placing our books at the gallery for April National Poetry Month. My new book, "A While Away" is going to be there during April. Come by and check it out! They are a numbered, limited edition run of 100 and once they are gone, they're gone. It has colored photos of my artwork, photography and, of course, my poetry.
