The do not pay artists on time. It is supposed to be a co-op but only the board members are treated well.

On second day, they were replacing a pipe, had to shut down the water. Took them all day to replace it, and then a bust pipe! It resulted in a disaster, there was no water all day and night. Worst nightmare. The water finally came back on the next day... for a few hours, then water shut off again! This time, I was told that their landscaping guy broke the pipe. It was really bad timing because it was one day before thanksgiving. Good that it only took a couple of hours to fix it this time. At least they did something right by offering partial discount (50% off of that one night). Every employee was nice and friendly except the house keeping lady who did our room. We greeted her, but she never greeted us back, always poker face. She only cleaned the drain in the shower one time, leave the hair in the drain for the rest of our stay. She didn't give us clean towels every day, didn't clean the trash bin in the shower. I never had this bad experience before. We booked the thanksgiving meal at the hotel, the meal was good as a buffet style food. Only one hour to dine, as they rotated the tables every hour. It cost us $50 per person plus taxes and tips, alcohol drinks not included. The meal was good, but I will not do it again. Breakfast not included in the room rate.

Waking up to the sun rising over the endless horizon and letting the gentle ocean breeze lull me into a state of tranquility at the pristine St. Augustine Beach for my Birthday weekend was enchanting. Dan at the Front Desk was THE Man. He gave us early check-in, provided me with a lighter for my Birthday candles and even upgraded my friends room. Rachael was pretty amazing too...recommending some great local eats! Throughout the hotel and guestrooms, you can enjoy some of the many thousands of marine life images that showcase the artistic hand of Guy Harvey and local fellow artists, each inspired by the natural beauty of America's Oldest City and the waters that surround it. Paint chipping, floorboards removed. Swimming pool is ice cold. Outdoor temperature 47° f. Pool still open. Free parking, a plus. This hotel is not convenient to historic St Augustine. Don't mistake St Augustine Beach for St Augustine Florida. They're two different places about 20 mi apart. I'm not saying St Augustine Beach is not a good place, it's just not a great place to visit in the winter. Prices here were significantly lower than in St Augustine.

We -- along with six other families -- were left waiting in the lobby for nearly two hours past check-in, with staff unable or unwilling to provide a realistic estimate of when a room would be ready. Simply stating that the hotel was at full occupancy is not an excuse -- it is a failure of planning and management. This situation reflects inefficient and lazy management. Late checkouts were clearly oversold without regard for incoming guests, and there was no urgency, accountability, or proactive communication. Guests were left in limbo while management avoided taking responsibility for the problem they created. For a Courtyard/Marriott property, this level of operational disorganization and disregard for guests is unacceptable. We will not be returning and would caution others to reconsider staying here if timely check-in matters.

From the outside facing the street, it looks like a pretty typical hotel, but once you get in, you feel like you're transported to more of a swanky beach hotel. First, not a huge fan of having to pay $42 to valet your car (there are no other parking options). When we arrived inside, we were able to check-in virtually, so we headed up to our room. When we arrived to our room, I was pretty impressed iwth the size of the room. They had a little kitchnette (small beverage fridge) and table, plus a sitting room with chairs and a couch, and luckily we scored a beach view room. The bedroom was spacious, but will say the pillows were totally flat. I'm talking almost paper thin, but the bed was comfortable. The bathroom was spacious with a tub and large vanity. When you go onto the grounds, they have a large pool with lounge chairs facing the beach. Prior to the pool there are rocking chairs and couches and fire pits, which were great. All in all, I'd come back.

The ocean view was a joke as you had to literally lean over the railing to see the ocean. Checking in the lobby was clean and valet was accommodating. Unfortunately that's the extent of good things I have to say about this hotel. Walking in the room had a musty smell. The bathroom was dirty with random hairs all over. There was no dresser or any way to put your clothing away except the 4 hangers. We called guest services and they said they would bring a dresser up. What they brought was a nightstand that looked like it was bought off Temu. After going back down to the front desk we were told that there are no rooms with any dressers and we could not get any additional hangers. Furniture was in bad condition and definitely not worth the price they were charging. The room was not cheap, but it felt as if we were staying in a Motel 6.

From the moment we arrived, the entire staff was welcoming, organized, and genuinely helpful. We had a small issue with our seats, and the team at the information booth handled it quickly and kindly they went above and beyond to make sure everything was resolved so we could fully enjoy the show. One moment that really stood out was in the women's restroom, there was a staff member managing the line, and she was absolutely incredible. She kept things moving efficiently, maintained a positive and upbeat attitude, and truly made what could have been a stressful situation feel seamless. It may seem like a small detail, but it made a big impact on the overall experience. The venue itself has such a great atmosphere, clean, well-run, and very family friendly. You can tell that there's a strong commitment to guest experience at every level, and it doesn't go unnoticed. Thank you to everyone who made the evening so enjoyable. We will absolutely be returning again and again!

There's a large canopy that covers the lower seating area, as well as the pit, but the rows farther back are uncovered. I enjoyed my spot in the lower seats because that canopy makes all the difference in the FL sun. The stage & venue aren't the biggest so that gives it a more intimate feel which was nice. It'll still fit in well over 4,000 people, though, so you can catch some big names here. The merch lines definitely build up so that's unfortunate, but they're handled efficiently. Prices at the concessions aren't too bad, they're actually on the cheaper side compared to some of the places I go for concerts/events. There were also a good handful of water fountains throughout. One of my favorite things about this place is that it's essentially located in Anastasia State Park so it's surrounded by nature. The beachfront is only a few miles away so it's nothing short of beautiful. The employees were friendly which always adds to the experience. I'm definitely looking forward to seeing another concert here soon.
