He works near Buffalo Butchers and they have an excellent price on fresh ground 80/20 chuck. Actually, it looks like all their prices are great! They also have house made jerky and beef sticks. They must have a lot of different flavors because he's brought home three different kinds of each so far. They've all been very good! They gave him a flyer Saturday (3/21/26) that lists all their meat packages. Looks like some excellent deals! They also post their offerings and sales on their Instagram...there's a lot to try. I can't wait to grill one of their tri-tips! It's a very popular cut where I'm from and I was really excited to see that they carry it. I'll post updates when we try more. You've got to check this place out!

FINALLY! A real butcher shop in Depew, NY ! Forget the…read moreawful grocery store meats, we have an actual butcher shop that makes their sausages, both Italian and Polish onsite, along with smoked meats ( smoked right there, too!) and beautifully marbled steaks and roasts. The hamburger ( meatloaf mix for my meatballs ) is done right there. So much more as well. I believe I spotted a plethora of jerky too! If you're familiar with Traeger, they sell the pellets and spices ! I spoke with the owners Chris and Jake who have a long history of being in the meat industry and are very knowledgeable about their products and decided to open here in Depew. This place is located at the opposite end of where Joeys pizza. The second most important part of Buffalo Butchers aside from the quality meats is the price . They out price grocery store meats by far ! I ended up walking out of there with about 12 pounds of freshly cut meat ( preparing for Christmas dinner ) and I couldn't be happier. Also one last note... check out the hours ... open all weekend... PERFECT!

I had a chance to talk with the owner, and he's completely dialed in and clearly knows his product. The shop itself is great and offers more than just meat--utensils, barbecue supplies, vacuum sealers, and even video games, which is a fun touch. You can hang out, grab a beer, and relax on the front porch. I'm especially a fan of chorizo sausage, and I cooked some up today--it was fantastic. I'll definitely be going back.

I firat found out about this Mexican Store and Taco Truck from locals while I was at an art exhibit that was in town. This place may very well have the most authentic taco experience in Western New York. The taco truck is parked outside of the grocery store, and you can order single tacos in steak, chicken, carnitas, chorizo, and al pastor, or buy an order of tacos, which gives you one of each! Each taco has tons of meat, along with diced onion and cilantro, and comes with lime wedges and pickled onion. Bottles of Guacamole, Roja and Verde sauces are also available, I personally love the Verde. There are a few tables outside, and a few indoors in a side room of the Store. The taco truck seems to only be open on weekends from mid May to mid October. The store is interesting as well, with a lot of fresh produce, snacks, clothes and more that you can't find at most grocery stores.

This is a review of the actual store. The taco truck, which sits outside, has very limited hours, and is only open in the summer, so I will do a separate review of that when I finally get to try it. Hopefully Yelp will move the Taco Truck reviews over to the new listing once it exists. The people running it are lovely. The Mexican drinks are dirt cheap and authentic imported. Try all of the Jarritos, or try some of the Mexican coke which is made with real sugar and therefore actually tastes surprisingly... good! You can see from the pictures that the place is full of all kinds of amazing stuff. If you're ever in Medina, you must stop by. It's not a town you'd ever expect such a marvellous extensive Mexican store in, and yet, here it is. I hope they stay in business. I think they're connected to the Monte Alban restaurants in Rochester and the burbs of the 585. And of course if the taco truck is open, stop there and have a taco. You can always call this store and ask if their taco truck is open, and if not, then when. Speaking of tacos, would you like to see mine. Oh wait, I have the other thing. The Chorizo. Well maybe you can put Chorizo in the Taco? That sounds like it would be perfect. Let me know if you're up for it. After all, it's my life. And all the people, so many people, all go hand in hand through their Parklife. Damon "Monte" Albarn told me.

Seriously though, while it's nowhere near the cheapest gas in the area (average or higher), it's a real lifesaver if you're way up north of Medina (such as going to the amazing Miller's Bulk Foods) and you're running out of gas, which I was the most recent time I stopped here. I need to stop taking risks like that. I've been here before, and it's always been a decent, if not cheap, gas stop.

We've come in before for anything from milk, sour cream, or even some condiments. Not too mention they have a deli too! The subs here are the best in Batavia. The bread is so soft. The meats and cheese are freshly cut for each sub and all of the toppings taste fresh and crisp on the sub. Truly a great sandwich all around.
