Huge plate of spaghetti and meatballs
Lyn R.

I kept hearing about this little restaurant that had the most amazing food. I wasn't sure it was open, but we drove to it and decided to give it a try. The space only has five or six tables and extremely limited menu but those are the places where you know that each one of those menu items is going to be great. I decided on the lasagna and my husband got the spaghetti and meatballs. It came with a little house salad that I got the house Italian with an a couple pieces of bread and of course real butter. The sauce was so amazing. The reviews were spot on. I had recognized the owner as a worker from the post office, and I couldn't believe that she worked at the post office all day and cooked at night. She told me how she uses her grandmother's recipes, and that she makes a lot of her own pastas and desserts. When I got the bill, I was shocked at how little it cost for such a homemade Italian meal. Please please please give this little place a try. You won't be disappointed.

A simple menu in an unassuming block building, you can be forgiven for not knowing this place was here. However, you'd be missing a friendly host and delicious food. We have done takeout from here twice and both times were wonderful, both in the conversation and the meals. I love that it is classic, humble, and unfussy. My ravioli was just about perfect and the kids loved the gnocchi. This is not Il Pizziaolo, Arlecchino, or DiAnoia's. This is your immigrant Italian grandmother making food with love.

Wonderful homemade food. The service is really good. It is very small but well worth the wait if it is full.

There are four types of food and four areas you order at a counter and when you number is called you pick up your order. The cashier is suppose to give you your receipt with your order number but she neglected to give a few out and it caused some confusion. The pizza seemed to be popular and so did some of the sandwiches. The Chinese looked very good. I just had a Crispy Chicken sandwich that had jalapeño slaw, pickles and a sauce on a Brioshe roll. The chicken was OK. The slaw did not have much flavor, was expecting more due to the jalapeño. Had a side of fries which were good. The prices are very fair. If you want a quick lunch and to be one of the youngest in the restaurant, stop by.

Ordered two squares of pizza, one was the 4 cheese and the other the Mercato Meat. The 4 cheese had clearly been sitting way too long on the warmer, the cheese was hard and brittle, what little cheese was on it to begin with. Peeling up the cheese revealed a leathery surface of the dough that indicates the pizza was way beyond its serving time. The Mercato Meat was in the same boat, just a dried up lukewarm thick square of bland dough. I get that this is a food court, but 10 bucks for two squares and a drink should at least get you something edible. Two stars only because the ladies working the counter were very cordial and very overwhelmed.
