Reaction: Great small diner with patio seating. Most inexpensive meal I've had in Venice. Pros: $30 for 3 people, great staff, relaxed vibe. Cons: Nothing super special, only really have 4 options for food: pizza, spaghetti, risotto, and lasagna. Compliments: One of the only places with zero cover charge and offer tap water for free. The staff were very welcoming and attentive. Complaints: None. Differentating Point: Very convenient, extremely inexpensive for Venice. Good basic food. Etc: The store owner ran out and sprayed a bird with a water gun and theyy have a dog named pasta. Also, the old man told me grazi very much, 10/10 would come back.

This place is in the quiet part of Venice, hidden away from tourists. The food here is pretty cheap and very yummy! The rice in the risotto was cooked to a perfect hardness for me, and the salad was very refreshing. There is no cover charge here, and our three dishes added up to only around 30 euros. The service is great too! The owner is really welcoming and has a nice sense of humor.

A fantastic little restopub right next to the water and a little ways away from the swarms of tourists. The prices are really fantastic and there's no charge to sit outside as opposed to inside (this happens at a lot of places in Venice). The server was great and most importantly, the pizza was simple and AWESOME! I highly recommend this place for a break from all the tourist traps in Venice. Sit down, have a glass of wine, and savour their amazing pizza and amazing view.

We loved this restaurant so much, we ate there three times during our VERY short visit. Best food I found in Italy. The service was fast and genuine. The night scene was all locals just enjoying their town. I'd high recommend this place; specially the cannelloni with ricotta and spinach. So delicious! Their margarita Pizza and spaghetti Pamadoro is also very delicious. Eat here. You won't regret it.

As soon as we had a room we tossed all our luggage inside and went for a walk. It was about 10pm local time and we were just crossing our fingers hoping to find a good Italian meal. Well our hotel is located on the mainland and unfortunately everything was closed. So we just walked around and while walking down what appeared to be a residential street heard music and stumbled across this hidden gem. It's cute, quite and quaint. The dining room is old world, the chef delivers his food to the table and happily describes his works of art exhausted, perspiring and out of breath, but proud and anxious. We only had a small plate of spaghetti and some wine but it was delicious! It was more than delicious it was the best spaghetti we have had. We ate, drank and talked into the night. The families dining around us ordered plate after plate after plate....... We soaked in the background noise of children and family speaking Italian.......laughing and having a splendid evening. I wish we were here a couple more days so we could go back. If your in the area don't pass this up!

We even heard some waiters serenade a young birthday girl and they were decked out with festive hats, accordions, and tambourines. There was a cover fee €3 per person which was surprising for us. The grilled calamari was cooked very well and a hint of lemon helped its case quite a bit. Admittedly there was a large group in the restaurant. Lighting was adequate, acoustics very good and music was subdued. Despite this, the quality of the Bolognese makes it worth a visit--just be prepared to maybe--possibly--flag someone down when you need a refill of a beverage or want some condiments. I'd come back.

A combination of a thunderstorm and an early dinner meant the place was empty, but Marco and other staff welcomed us warmly all the same. We had the antipasti Parmigiana Di Melanzane (fried eggplant with cheese) and enjoyed the mains Pasta Al Forno (baked pasta with beef and peas), Pasta Con Le Polpette E Salsa Di Pomodoro (spaghetti with meatballs - not pictured), and Turbante Di Pesce Spada "A Beccafico" (baked swordfish). These were also with the Casa Rosso wine and Birra Siciliana beer both blonde and red. All food was superb. The fried eggplant was flavorful and fresh, and the bread was crispy and savory. The baked pasta was rich, the spaghetti and meatballs were nostalgic, and the swordfish was delectable. Safe to say we all cleared our plates easily. We wish nothing but the very best for Marco and his restaurant. This food was some of the best we had on our two week stay throughout Italy. The atmosphere, staff, and of course the amazing food made for a great experience that we would recommend to anyone looking for a reasonably priced homestyle Sicilian meal.
