Highly recommend Al for tree trimming services in north and south OC. I found them via our property manager and from start to finish the team did a great job. Al was great with scheduling and his team showed up promptly to service our property. They trimmed multiple trees and even uprooted a dead tree on our property. They brought the proper equipment, worked fast and most importantly cleaned up everything and hauled away the debris. Cannot recommend Al and his team enough, 5 star team all around. read more

We have used Al and Sons tree service 2 times in the past, and were totally satisfied and recommended them. So we called them again, Al came out, looked at what we wanted, and gave us an estimate. That was last Tuesday. He said he would call on Wednesday to let us know when they would show up on Friday. We never heard anything after we had the face-to-face on Tuesday. No text, call, nothing. So we went with another company that we are totally satisfied with their work. I will not be calling Al and Sons for any work. read more

I have used Al and Sons more than once. Their quotes are always the lowest. Al and his team are very knowledgeable. I always seem to learn something from them. I will always keep them as a go-to for landscaping and irrigation needs. They've never disappointed and their repairs never fail. read more

If you are looking for tree services, these guys are the legit BEST! I shopped prices and they were the most reasonable. The team arrived ready to go and it was like watching a well oiled machine. Holy cow! They cut our tree to my specifications and cleaned up our side yard better than I do! They took mad care not to damage our solar panels, they blew off our roof and also checked with our neighbor so they could blow out his yard too. Poetry in motion. HIRE THESE GUYS! I know I will again, I have other trees that are way out of control and I won't look any further! I can't be any more pleased with their work, and the owner's communication is on point. If you've got crazy trees encroaching on your space, CALL THEM RN. read more

Al and his crew just finished a big job at my home and I'm more than thrilled with their work. I reached out to them via Yelp, and received an estimate, same day, that was very fair. We needed three trees removed and five additional trees trimmed. We scheduled the job, and the crew showed up ready to go. We spoke for a few minutes about the work to be done and then they dove right in. They were pros and worked very hard, leaving my trees looking great. I was most impressed that the trees were definitely trimmed back, but still looked really good. Honestly better than I expected, as I thought they'd look more bare. I was very happy. They left everything clean. No mess for me to sweep or rake. Will definitely use again for our tree trimming maintenance in the future. Highly recommend Al and his team! read more

Additionally, I very pleased with the clean-up and overall results. The cost was competitive, and I would definitely use them again and can recommend their services without reservation. Thank you, Al and Sons, for a job well done. read more

Top notch professional service!!!!. I highly recommend. Al responded promptly to my request for a quote. We scheduled a time for him to come out and confirm the price. The price was very fair. I was able to schedule a time to work on my yard in the next couple of days. His crew showed up 5 minutes early, worked quickly and efficiently. The team worked together so well and got the job done quickly and did a great job. They raked up, swept up, you could barely tell they had been there except for whatever they worked on. They removed 2 unsightly over grown California pepper trees and a couple random dead trees. I will use them again for sure! read more

We call this family EVERYTIME! They are fast at coming to give quotes. We have 20 huge palm trees and have used a couple of company's. This is the first company we've used that cut/trim palm trees right. They clean up beautifully and use a wood chipper. My neighbors have started using AL AND SONS because the trees look spectacular EVERYTIME! Thanks AL AND SONS! You've definitely have customers for the life! read more

Al and his crew removed and replaced a dead tree as requested. He replied to questions promptly and had fair pricing. He also adjusted my drip system which was leaking and bolstered another tree in my front lawn which was starting to lean and sag. These guys are awesome and I would highly recommend their services. read more

Excellent ... from 1st return phone call, to simple descriptive estimate of each tree. Fine workmanship & workers, 'serious cleanup' ... with skillful cutting and trim. With 32 years of trimmers in my home Al and his team were most efficient and professional in finely shaping an old white birch, to tackling the large California peppers & overgrown Eucalyptus trees. What I appreciated most is Al did what he said he was going to, arrived when he said they would and left the trees and yard in fine condition. Job well done! Thank you Al & sons. read more

Tried scheduling with Al multiple times. Finally I told him to pick the day and time and I'll make my schedule around his. Of course he never shows up and doesn't have to cutesy to even call. Horrible customer service right from the start. read more

I just had Al and Son's trim all the trees on my property, plus remove a very large cactus tree from my front yard. I was a nervous wreck about having 7 palm trees removed in my somewhat inaccessible back yard. I picked Al because of his fair and reasonable price quote and professional demeanor. Best decision! His team just finished the job, expertly, diligently, and neatly. Al personally stayed and supervised the entire time, even wiping down the fence after the job was completed. I highly recommend Al and his team for tree service, and would definitely use them again. They are trustworthy, professional, and with very competitive rates. read more

Will definitely use again and recommend! They contacted me within hours of completed the request form online. I got several quotes for trimming and removal of pepper trees. They provided the best / lowest quote and are licensed, which was very important to me. I needed the work done quickly due to blockage of fallen branches and they re-arranged their schedule to do it within two days. I'm beyond grateful I contacted this company. I will definitely use them again and would highly recommend! read more

Wow....just wow. Professional service. Cut down 7 palms in my front yard. Stump grinding. Had the legitimate equipment. You can tell the crew works together good and is running a smooth operation. We have used AL and Son's for the last 5 years. A hand full of neighbors use them too, thats how we foud them. Over the years they have trimmed and removed trees. They usually show up with 4 or 5 guys, 2 trucks and a wood chipper. Very professional. Definitely recommend them. read more

We had a neighbors tree branch fall over our fence and was resting on our house. Al was quick to come by to give a quote and started the very next day. They did a great job taking the tree down, which seemed to be pretty technical as it was resting on a tree we wanted to keep. They took precautions as to not damage our fence, house, ac unit, or anything else. This was truly appreciated. Al & his team were professional, worked quickly, safely and efficiently. I am pretty picky when it comes to the esthetic of thinned & shaped trees. Al & his team did an outstanding job of keeping the tree from looking butchered & still giving it a significant pruning. I'm looking forward to getting more work done by them. read more

Set an appointment to have 2 palm trees in my back yard removed. I had received 4 quotes, theirs was much more reasonable, and when we spoke on the phone, I went with my gut and hired them. 4 workers came with their truck and hauler. We needed to remove a mature African Sumac tree from a narrow space in our side yard, and we were worried about doing it because of how close it was to both our house and the neighbor's fence. There wasn't much room to maneuver in. But Al and Sons got the large tree out and completely removed the stump. They also trimmed our orange tree and removed an invasive fig tree sapling. Not only did they work quickly and efficiently, they cleaned up the whole space so there wasn't a single twig or leaf left. They did all this for a very reasonable price, much less than we thought it would cost. We highly recommend Al and Sons for tree trimming and removal. read more

Easy to make an appointment for an estimate, which came in lower than the other places I checked. Plus, they take credit cards, which isn't the case with most tree-trimming companies. They did a really nice job on my two trees out front. They trimmed them way differently than some of my neighbors' trees, and the leaves grew back way nicer than those neighbors' trees! read more
