My family reunion was held in downtown Chicago this past July. I went shopping on The Magnificent Mile, or Mag Mile. Out of all of the high-end stores, l shopped at my favorite store Akira 3 times for a vacation planned for Paris and London later this year.
The Akira Watertower store shipped my purchased items to my residence to save weight on my flight home. When I received my package, I only received 10 out of the 14 items that I purchased.
I called the Chicago store, no answer. Straight to automation.
I used the online chat service and could not get a resolution. I was directed to a computer technician and was charged $5 to speak to a live person on Just Answer app, and still did not get a resolution.
By this time, I am very frustrated, disappointed, and at my wits end. In hopes to resolve this issue myself, I went to the Willowbrook Akira store to speak with a person. I explained my dilemma to Tee'Unna, the lead cashier. She tried to assist as best as possible. She called Akira customer service number and both agents looked up my account and
stated "the purchase was from another store and NOT ON LINE,
there's really nothing can done ". Tee'Unna informed her store manager Ashlee of the issue and Ashlee stepped in.
Ashlee approached me very warm, professional, friendly manner and she was easy to talk too. She called the Chicago Watertower store. The process was very time consuming, tedious and difficult trying to track my items. With her hardwork, efforts, and problem-solving skills, she found my purchased items. She facilitated shipment of missing items and forwarded the FedEx tracking number to me that evening.
Ashlee's customer service went above and beyond. I truly appreciate her empathy, compassion, persistence, and expertise. She made my upcoming vacation complete with my pretty outfits!
Thanks again Ashlee &Tee'Unna read more
