I do not recommend buying anything from this store. I ordered 2 pairs of shoes for Black Friday, my order was not shipped for 13 days. It is impossible to contact them, there is no phone, AI answers the emails. Somehow I contacted them, they apologized and gave a $10 discount, which is ridiculous, and sent the package. I see that they sent it in partially. I am emailing them again. The answer comes with the attitude that the product is sold out, we returned your money. That's it. That is, do whatever you want, buy wherever you want and it doesn't matter that it was on a discount day. I told them that brands don't work like that and offer me an alternative. No, we sold out of that item. Communication is absent, even if you are lucky and a live person writes back, they communicate with attitude. So if you want your order to arrive on time and completely bypass this store. read more

your staff at akira old orchard il, because of the fact that have your dressing rooms dirty and they dont check if there is garbage or stuff left from other customers on the floor and seats embarrased my wife and a friend who is visiting from another country, checking her bag as if she stole something because when your male representative saw some ear rings on the floor, thought my wife had put some of those in her bag. i always shop in akira and my wife does too. but this upset me, also the attitude when she confronted them. please clean and be more aware of who you hire to represent your store, they gotta keep up with your rythm. this is a terrible experience as we are frecuent shoppers, but i will share this in every social media i can, because we are your customers and we want to be heard. read more

I usually hit up Bloomingdale's across the street for my fix; this location, with its spacious interiors and vast accessory and shoe sections to complement the delectable wearables, made me realize just what I was missing. As a walk down retail memory lane, Cop Copine (now in the 900 North Shops) used to be in this location. There was only one other customer in the store and the retail experience was what I appreciate the most- attentive without being overbearing. I ended up with a dress for an event in April (originally $600, marked down to $350) and a skirt and top. Unfortunately for me - maybe not so much for my pocketbook - the full skirt that I was eyeing (on full price) was not available in my size. The personalized service and nifty garment bag that folded up and over into shopping-bag proportions all contributed to my good shopping vibes. Word to the wise: the sale will be ending in a matter of days, at which time all the goods will be packed up and shipped off to the warehouse to make way for Spring 2015 goods. If you want to check out the sale goods while they still last, I suggest coming here without delay.

I'm annoyed i forgot to get her name to give her some Yelp love, but she helped us find a super puff jacket (the warmest coats!) and another super puff vest that wasn't in stock so had it shipped to our house. There was a small line for the fitting room, but seemed short after what we had just waited in at Brandy Melville across the street. And checkout was a breeze. I find their quality really great and their pricing fair (maybe pricey if you're buying it for a 13 year old). I have a feeling I may be stealing one of my daughter's super puff jackets (yes, she has a few!) this winter because they are perfect for our Chicago winters!

I have managed to resist because the location near me at South Coast Plaza cannot do the personalization in store, and then the online purchase would make me wait for a long time to get my purse. Thankfully for me, Ashley helped me with my shopping for the day and she informed me that the flagship location is able to get me my custom personalization ON THE SAME DAY. Wow. That temptation. So Ashley was kindly and patiently showing us around the store. There was so much inventory in this 5 story building (with 4 floors being retail). My local Burberry feels like half of their first floor. There were so many things to look at and add to my never-ending Burberry bucket list. Ultimately I gave into my temptation and got the purse! Ashley was so fun and informative, but she was never pushy on the sales. I got the space I needed to come to the decision on my own. Ashley confirmed the initials I wanted etched onto the tag: VD and sent me a text confirmation. She kept me updated the whole time so I was able to continue shopping on Magnificent Mile and come back when the purse was ready. The ETA was about an hour. It only took 15 minutes, but that's still nice not to wait around. When I got back to the Burberry store, Ashley was helping another customer so Christopher, the store Director, kindly stepped in to help me pick up my bag. He opened it so I could see my beautiful purse and even set up my bag for me to take my quick photo. The 5-star service continues. Christopher said they have something else for me and Ashley wraps up with her other customer so I was able to see her real fast. They gave me a stuninnnnggggg bouquet of red flowers. I felt so loved and valued as a customer. I will always look back at this purse and think of the amazing time I had with my friends in Chicago and Ashley and Christopher really helped contribute to my happy memories.
