Aaron and his crew were awesome!! 120% satisfied
Jacob B.

After the last windstorm the largest tree on my property cracked. Hated to see this Western hemlock go... But Aaron and his team were fantastic and provided other tree care/arborist services that my acreage had been needing. I recommend AK timber services, LLC without reservation. These guys really know their business and are a pleasure to work with!

Aaron and his crew worked fast and thoroughly to remove three trees and grind the stumps. They were courteous and diligent, achieving the project within days of giving us a very reasonable estimate.

Taking care not the damage house, fence or neighbors.

The Yelp response resulted in submissions from 5 different companies responding with contact details for arranging an estimate. As a result of Tony's tree service response which included a ballpark estimate on the basis of my input, I contacted Tony and made arrangements for a same day on site estimate. After reviewing the requirements, which I expanded during the visit, we agreed on an estimate which I believed to be very reasonable for the scope of effort. Better yet, Tony proposed commencing work the next day which was very important due to weather and concerns with tree stability. The results provided by Tony's Tree Service exceeded my expectations. The tree has been trimmed back and is stable with no problems. Following my requested instructions, he thoroughly cleaned the area and was careful due to a fence bordering the tree and adjacent properties. Most importantly, Tony was a pleasure to work with and very responsive to my questions & requests. I would gladly contact him to perform similar services in the future.

He was able to work quickly and is very responsive and was able to quote same day. I would highly recommend Tony! Practically the next day he was able to cut two trees down and trim a third and haul them away! I was worried about these trees since we bought the house and they've grown over the neighbors fence line and roof. It's the biggest relief having a professional remove them safely with zero damage. Save yourself the trouble of three quotes and call Tony first. Have a blessed day.

The project being a tree removal, as well planting within a foot away (due to sprinklers only being able to reach so far). With that being said I had set a time and date with them to do the job. I ordered the tree for delivery the day prior, but once the day came for the job it was a no show. Concerned, I contacted NW Tree Work to see what was going on. Turns out they are short staff. I'm pretty reasonable so I go ahead and try to reschedule. This time, I'm told the job is more complex so a new date is set. Once the new date rolls around, again, no show. At this point I'm constantly contacting NW Tree Work to the point they are reading my messages but not replying. I have to call every single time to get a hold of someone, to which I'm told I will get a reply later in the day, and to which I don't. It takes me contacting each day to try and reschedule only to be told a date the project will get done by and for someone to not show up. Big waste of time. On top of that, when speaking to John he assured me the prior weekend he'd get the job done and not only that move the tree out of public view and water it so it's okay. Sadly, none of that ever happened or came into fruition, the trees flowers started dying off due to it not being properly taken care of which it would have been had it been planted as planned. Ultimately this lead to a lot of back and forth. Whether its short-staffed or health related issues, telling a customer a date you're going to get the job done and continuously bailing is not the right response to do. The kicker was John calling me later that day to tell me how to give more trust and understanding to professionals and how delays happen and it's all normal. How about building that trust with customers first by not bailing on them multiple times over and over again, then we can have that conversation. Aside from all the negatives, I can give them credit for at least reimbursing me on the tree (though they only would if they ended up taking it). I'm not typically one to leave reviews, but I think it's important for anybody else on this platform to be informed with what potential risks you have working with certain companies. Emotions aside, this is just my personal experience with the company and for that I would not recommend them moving forward.

Since I can't directly reply to your reply to my review ... I will attempt to respond to your…read moreresponse here. First and foremost I called you folks the week prior to service because you were on my calendar for an appointment "early February-follow up". At which time I was told I would be contacted a few days ahead of time with an exact scheduling time. That never took place. Actually it did, but it was via email that went into my spam folder so I never saw it. I don't know to look for something if you don't know it exists. Hence my recommendation that when a person reaches out to you, you should contact them in a manner to which you are 100% sure they're able to get that message. An email many times goes into a spam folder, so if your client never confirms they got that email, another form/attempt to confirm they are good with the date and time is surely not unreasonable. My true first "notification" that you were showing up at my house Wednesday morning was a phone call five minutes prior saying we will "be there in five minutes". When in reality, my first notification was you guys knocking on my front door, because my phone is silenced until 7:30 and Gino called at 7:29 so that's zero advance notice. Again, because your email went to my spam folder. Second, the 3.5% might have been discussed in August but that was six months prior to the actual work date, you truly don't expect your client to remember the nuances of a conversation six months later, do you? My guess based on the email that went into my spam folder this is not the first time that has happened because the only two things mentioned in that "seven day" advance notice is a date/time to expect you guys and a reminder of the 3.5%. However, had I been given the notification the couple days prior as I was told I would've gone over that and I would've used the check to pay for the balance not my credit card. But because I was only given and I'm being gracious here five minutes notice I had no time to go over the "what to expect" portion of the document, which I didn't find until after your people were already gone and I had paid the balance. Five minutes is not prior notification in any business. As for an e-signature, that is different than consent over the phone. Over the phone is consent to do work, an e-signature is me actually signing something electronically via email. As I told the young lady over the phone, my e-signature is not "Deb Aylor". Which is why I know I never signed anything. Had the term they used been consented over the phone I would've acquiesced and agreed to that indeed I had done that I'll even give you a pass on the 3.5% being discussed at that time consent was given. My major concern is your company is still not acknowledging if you don't hear back from the client after sending an email seven days prior that you should indeed following up with a phone call/text message to be 100% sure your client is aware of the date and time of the appointment. Own it! It's not a confirmation of service until both parties agree the date and time works. An email from you saying this is when we are going to arrive is not your client saying great I agree that that works for me. It may work for you, but it may not work for them and with no confirmation from the other end, there is no agreement in place. Your lack of ownership on this point seems completely unprofessional to me. You keep insisting that you sent out notification which you did, but you got no permission for me and no agreement that time worked for me. Had I been given the notification I would've said could we do it the next day because my niece is going in for surgery and I'm going to have been up for 48 hours with little to no sleep and would like to sleep in on that day or could you come later in the day because that time doesn't work for me. I wasn't given that opportunity. You literally were at my front door before I knew to expect you that's unprofessional.
