So I tried pizza at Michael's NY Style Pizza (1701 Kings Hwy), and NY Pizza & Deli (6613 N. Kings Hwy). Not bad pizza - far from great pizza! So I am still on the hunt for decent pizza in the Myrtle Beach area. Yelp rates AJ's Pizza (5917 N. Kings Hwy) as the 3rd best pizza in Myrtle Beach. Boy are they WRONG! The crust is like cooked cardboard! The pizza is so salty it's like pouring a salt shaker in your mouth (usually the sign of cheap mozzarella)! Minor fault: They cut my $13.50 medium pizza into 10 eennie weenie slices. 4 bites and it's gone! Absolutely ridiculous. Taste wise it is very tasty - except for the salt. Value wise not so much. They were very busy and at these prices the owner is probably loaded in dough! Pun intended. I personally don't recommend AJ's pizza and I won't be going back for pizza. I might try a meatball parm, veal parm, sausage parm, or spaghetti & meatballs - but NO To their pizza. Footnote: Both Michael's NY Style Pizza & NY Pizza & Deli - are way better than AJ's. In my humble opinion anyway! The search for decent pizza continues! I grew up (till 19 y/o in Brooklyn, NY) - so I'll probably never find good pizza in South Carolina! read more

Trust Yelp. Pizza is fantastic. The only reason I'm leaving 4 instead of 5 is they gave us a chefs salad instead of a family house salad and bleu cheese dressing instead of ranch, but the salad was enough for 4 people to share. Service was great and delivery was speedy. We got sweet Thai, white, and loaded pimento. The loaded pimento was a bit spicy for my taste (husband loved it), but the white and the sweet Thai were perfection. Breadsticks are great too! We are here in town for a few days and wanted to see what all the fuss was about for this establishment. Food is on point, from the pizza, salad, and spaghetti. Everything was delicious and nice portions as well. The ranch dressing for the salad, I could drink out of the cup. The chef's salad was full of meat and everything else. Pizza had plentiful of toppings and crust was nice and chewy, but not too much, just right. The prices are descent as well. We definitely recommend AJ's!! This place is so good! It's our last night visiting Myrtle and we wanted some quick, good pizza. I call ahead and ordered a white pizza for myself (YUM), a bacon & cheese pizza for my son (he said it's very good), and a cheese pizza for my sister. She hasn't tried it yet but I bet it's great. We also got a Greek salad and a Caesar salad- delicious. It was reasonably priced and the staff was so friendly. We will definitely be back next time we visit. Highly recommend this place! read more

We ordered delivery to our condo at the beach and it came impressively quickly. We ordered wings in hot and garlic Parmesan, a hand tossed cheese pizza and a thin crust supreme. I will say we had ordered from AJ's in the past and I feel like we liked it more the first time, but it was still pretty good. I felt like the "hot" flavored wings fell a little flat. Not terrible, but not what I would describe as hot and just less flavorful than I'd hoped for. The garlic parm were much better in my opinion. The blue cheese dressing seemed homemade and was excellent. The supreme pizza was pretty standard, but still good. Pizza delivery in a tourist town can be so hit and miss, we are satisfied enough we will likely order from AJ's again in the future. read more

The only pizza place with high rating. I got a large pizza, chicken quesadilla and cheddar bread. The best food around so yummy and so fresh. I realized they gave me the wrong pizza when I got to the beach. I called and since they do not deliver where I was staying, they brought me a fresh pizza within like 10 mins. Everyone was really nice here. We ordered mushroom pizza, shrimp pizza and the cheeseburger pizza. The cheeseburger pizza was really good with lots of toppings and delicious sauce. By the nature of what it is, it was also very greasy. It is also hard to find pizza places with shrimp as a topping, so this was a definite plus. read more

Didn't even get to try the food because of the unprofessional staff. My family of 6 was prepared to dine in and sit at their small dine in table upfront. Prepared to drop over $50, my son needed to use the bathroom and they have "no public bathrooms". Really? You have a DINE IN table up front for families to sit and spend money on your food, but won't allow the paying customer sitting inside your restaurant a bathroom? Especially a child?
