We contacted Walgenmeyers for a quote on flooring for our kitchen…read more Mike came out right away and gave us a fair price. The installation was done when they said it would be, but that's when all the problems started! They told us our floor was uneven and showed us they would have to put down leveler. Well, the guys put it where it didn't belong and didn't put it where it did belong. Now when we walk on certain parts of our kitchen floor it makes all kinds of popping noises, because it's not level! We contacted our salesman Mike right away. Mike came out about two weeks later and said he couldn't hear anything. They didn't account for the face plate on the bottom of the dishwasher either, so they left that piece off we told Mike about that also, then we were told by Mike the salesman we needed a transition piece where the carpet meets the new flooring, so we bought that. Then when the installers were putting the transition piece on, they advised us to buy another piece incase our type of tile was no longer available. So, when they gave us the other piece (just before they left) we noticed it was a totally different piece and wasn't even the right length! I told Mike I wanted a refund for this piece and he said no! We complained about this to our salesman Mike, and he said he never sold us the extra piece even though I had the invoice. But he couldn't find his copy anywhere. (yeah right) When I pulled out our invoice Mike actually raised his voice to us and said he would contact us later and we could also talk to the owner. Never been able to get ahold of the owner either! We tell all our friends that are remodeling to never go to Walgenmeyers unless you want to get ripped off and have shotty work done that's not guaranteed! Because absolutely nothing has been fixed!

We were disappointed. Careless workers, and poor response to errors they made…read more -They underestimated materials, which meant the movers arrived with unfinished flooring. -The installers sawed everything inside the living room, covering everything in dust. -Three transition pieces had issues. One was much too tall and a tripping hazard, another did not allow the door to close, and a third fell off. It took 4 weeks several emails and phone calls to remedy, and one doesn't match the two other transition pieces right across the hall. They could not explain to us why the same kind of piece couldn't be used. (Same transition from laminate to vinyl.) It looks very odd. (Two wood transitions and one black metal one in the same hallway.) -The trim work around an outlet and loft posts has gaps. -The response time to our concerns took a very long time, although I got the remainder of the bill right away. The actual wood laminate product looks good, but I worry should issues arise in the future with such poor customer service.

I asked if I had the installation area empty could I save that charge. Was told yes. Had the entire installation area empty prior to the install and was still charged the furniture removal fee. Called to inquire and was told a check would be cut to me as reimbursement for the fed. Two weeks later and no reimbursement has been received. Sent company an email and received no response. I would not recommend using these guys. The amount may be minor but it's not right to pay for a service that was not utilized and to not get any response when inquiring about it. A tad dishonest!

Jareds team went above and beyond to not only make me feel like my repairs were a priority but also made sure it was done correctly. They replaced the pad under the carpet to ensure I wouldn't have any issues in the future and they cut new framing for my bathroom doorway. When we replace the carpet in our basement we will definitely be using Jareds team. The pricing was reasonable, the work was well-done, the crew arrived on time and were thorough and tidy with their work. I can't say enough good things about my experience!

We worked with Nonn's on a large home project involving flooring, tile, and appliances. When…read moreservice issues arose, the experience was far below what we expected from a company handling a project of this scope. Our range broke immediately and was unusable for weeks. We also had a separate dishwasher issue that required months of follow-up before ultimately failing and needing faulty parts replaced. Communication throughout the process was slow, inconsistent, and often required repeated effort from us just to receive basic updates. Although repairs were eventually completed and a partial credit was issued, Nonn's declined to provide any further accommodation despite the prolonged disruption and clear service breakdowns. The response from leadership made it clear that customer experience was not a priority once problems occurred. We made multiple good-faith attempts to resolve this privately. Based on how these issues were handled, we would not choose to work with Nonn's again and would encourage others to carefully consider their options before committing to a significant project.

They did not tell me they did this all they did was move a calendar we had put up with a magnet over the dent. it took getting a hold of the Waukesha Mgr. to try to get this situation fixed. After three weeks they brought a new refrigerator replacement but it had a bigger dent in it than the original. I finally made a deal with them to make a credit on my credit card and am just keeping the dented original refrigerator. I guess the worst part is that they damaged the fridge and tried to cover it up without telling me. My question is can you trust a company after they do something like this?

    Floor360 - Zoomed lifted seam

    Floor360

Summary: I Had a Contract with Floor360 -- Got a Defective Floor & Had to file a Lawsuit…read more I built a new home in 2024, and because I've done this rodeo before, my builder and I agreed I would handle the flooring, cabinetry, countertops, and lighting contracts directly rather than through the builder. I'd had good experiences with Floor360 in my Veridian homes, so I emailed Jen Fickling on Sept 2, 2023 proposing that Floor360 work directly with me. They agreed, and I signed a flooring/tile/installation contract via Dropbox on Jan 17, 2024. That contract contained the provision that "all installations done according to industry trade standards". I selected a premium 9.5" Shaw Expressions white oak floor (~$30K). When Floor360 came to install in February, the HVAC wasn't on and the required 5-day acclimation hadn't happened. Unbeknownst to me, my builder was a chiropractor who had inherited the construction company from his father, and the project manager responsible for site conditions like HVAC was his X-ray technician. To avoid delays, Floor360 and the builder privately agreed the builder would install instead of waiting for Floor360's next opening. The builder had never installed this product, didn't buy all required materials, and Floor360 knew this as well as knowing proper acclimation had not occurred. Unsurprisingly, the floor failed--and only then was I told the installation had been switched, despite promises that Floor360's "most senior crew" would do the work. The installation violated basic manufacturer requirements: no 5-day acclimation (installed mid-winter with no HVAC), fasteners spaced 15-24" instead of 6-8", no end fastening, and no required glue assist. Result: cracked boards, lifted seams, splinters, flared ends, and a wood floor that feels like walking on artisanal cobblestone. Shaw inspected, found 70% of boards damaged, and denied warranty coverage due to improper installation/acclimation. Replacement bids are ~$50K, and I legally have to disclose the defect if I sell. What makes this worse is the secrecy. I emailed the replacement designer, Nichole Abbott, repeatedly asking how installation went (2/14/24, 2/24/24, 3/12/24) yet no answers. When I asked where the leftover product was (4/23/24 & 4/24/24), she vaguely said she'd ask "the installers," leaving out the key detail: Floor360 didn't install it. Floor360 now insists my contract was with the builder, even though the builder contract explicitly allowed direct vendor contracts, Floor360 was paid via my personal funds & construction loan, and they accepted that arrangement in writing. Floor360 subcontracting with my builder to swap installation roles on the down low has nothing to do with their contractual obligation to me. The two people who negotiated the working model (Jen Fickling and Christie Thompson) have since left, and it appears nobody bothered to review the terms before denying responsibility. My attorney says the liability is clear. We've given Floor360 multiple chances to fix this; they haven't. So we filed a lawsuit, which you may follow by searching for them on CCAP. A complaint with DSPS/DATCP is in-process. Floor360: if anything here is inaccurate, reply publicly and I'll correct it immediately. You're also welcome to send corrections to my attorney. My only goal is accuracy and getting an undamaged & fully warranted floor. After reading our contract line by line, do you disagree that a properly installed, fully warranted floor is a reasonable expectation?
