They are worth the wait (booked 2-3 months out) Long version: We had water damage in our kitchen. We needed the damaged floor replaced and the rest of the first floor sanded and stained to match. No easy task since our floor was 17 years old. After they sanded, stained, and sealed the floor, we realized that the original builder (17 years ago) put a 2 foot by 10 foot strip of pink looking red oak in the middle of the white oak floorboards in the living room. This was imposible to see because of the tinted stain that was put on the floor to cover up the fact that the wood didn't match. Jon, our sales guy, came out on a Saturday to talk it over with us. They worked with us to squeeze us into their schedule despite being booked 3 months out. He even came and tore out the red oak himself since all of the other workers were tied up. They took out the red oak and put new white oak back in and now you can't tell at all. Honestly, I thought we were screwed. We did have to pay for them to come back to do it since it wasn't their screw up.

I have had a few different companies in to clean my carpets, and Alex and his son were BY FAR the nicest, most thorough and most helpful of anyone! It is Alex's business, and he is the one who shows up to do the cleaning which is super rare. I reached out on Wednesday last minute and asked for a Friday appointment and they fit me in even with short notice! He noticed the hose was pulling up kitty litter, and asked to see my vacuum. He spent time looking over my vacuum and letting me know what was wrong with it. This wasn't something he HAD to do or was being paid to do. He really was helping me person to person. He even offered to pop the cover off and tool around if I wanted--I knew the vacuum was shot, so I told him not to bother. How cool is that? Very rare in this day and age to have someone actually provide true above and beyond service. My carpets which were DISGUSTING (cat/toddler) look like new! The price is very reasonable and matches most of the other places around town--the service you get here is definitely worth the value. I highly recommend them! read more

I chose Steam Plus because they had all positive reviews, and I was not disappointed. We just moved into our grandparents house that they have lived in for the past 50 years. I would be surprised if the carpets had ever been professionally cleaned. When I called to set up the service, Alex (the owner) answered and was able to accommodate me within 2 days. He was very friendly on the phone! When he arrived, he was on time and completely ready to go. He was very very thorough, and even offered to help me move a heavy box off of the carpet. The carpets used to be white, but were now a shade of grayish brown, but Alex got them bright and clean. The whole house smells fresh! This was a great transaction! I was really impressed with this company's commitment to quality work at a fair price. Frankly, I'd let my carpet go too long without being cleaned. I wasn't very hopeful for good results. The technicians took the time to walk room to room with me, telling me what they would be able to accomplish. They didn't let me down! Alex always breathes new life into 10 year old carpets, despite them being trampled on by an exceedingly large dog day in and day out.
