My absolute favorite was the Carupanera with sausage, plantain, red pickled onion and avocado. Each ingredient complemented the others so well and it was all fresh and filling. The Reina Pepiada's avocado cream and chicken was delicious too but a little too gooey for my taste. And to be honest you'd really have to be starving to devour two of their arepas. The 9 euro lunch menu with one arepa, one soup and a drink is a great deal. Speaking of drinks the Papelón con limón (raw hardened sugar cane juice, water, and lime served on ice) is so good I might just walk back to get another one right now. I'm so proud a great little place like this exists in my own backyard.

The ambience was good with Spanish music playing on the background. I ordered a typical Colombian dish Sobre barriga. I must say that it was good. The texture was almost perfect. The only down side was the Yuca (Cassava). It was too hard and must be soft. The other is that there were no beans to accompany the dish. While this of course is not required as we are not in South America I would recommend it as a side dish. The rice, salad, avocado and plantain were just perfect with the food. I have been here a couple of times now - the line is always super long but totally worth it at the end! The only thing I am not a fan of is the drinks (especially the citron vert with cane sugar) it's super sweet and I had to add extra water as I couldn't drink. But if you're a fan of sweet sugary drinks then I'm sure it'll be a hit! The guys who work there are also lovely - they always have a smile and seem relaxed even if they are totally overrun with customers! When you order fish and chips you're not getting british 'chips' nor 'fries' - what you get are are french, homemade chips (meaning crisps). But that is fine with me. The chips were very tasty, as well as the tartare sauce. I did not care much about the little side-salad. At 11€ the fish and chips were also quite good value for money (for Paris). It ain't 'the sunken chip', but I still liked it.
