This unique combination of husband and wife make for a remarkable team when it comes to furnishing your home with exquisite one-of-a-kind carpets. Their shop offers an extensive array of some of the finest new and antique Oriental rugs available on the West Coast. Over the years I have purchased several exceptional carpets from Shawn and Noushin to included antique ca. 1890s Persian Sarouk and Tabriz as well as newer ca. 1960s Persian Gharadjeh runner and multiple ca. 1980s Persian Bijar. Having migrated from the East Coast in 2020, I have found Shawn pricing is nearly half of what one would expect to pay for comparable carpets on the East Coast. He is an impeccably honest man who can be trusted in his pricing and advice. This made it difficult to reach them after the owner sold me a rug that was not the size he had promised, despite nearly two hours of discussion in the store. When I finally tracked down the manager in person, he was unhelpful and unwilling to work with me on a rug that didn't fit the room it was purchased for. The lack of customer support was especially disappointing given the owner's assurances and the high price point of their products. If you shop here, bring your own tape measure and do not rely on staff advice. Only purchase if you are absolutely certain the rug will fit, because all sales are final.
