As someone who has purchased a lot of vehicles over the years, Maus Nissan of Brooksville I can confidently say is the worst dealership I have ever dealt with bar none. In 2023 I went to this dealership and purchased a 2022 Chevrolet Camaro 2LT. What drew me to this vehicle was the competitive price listed online, so a couple of friends and I went to go see it. I brought my trade and sat down with a sales person. After I test drove the car I told him I wanted to move forward. After letting someone else demo the car in front of me while they had my approval in hand and after a few hours i reluctantly decided to move forward. Once I got into finance I was pressured into purchasing an extended warranty that I did not want in order to get a rate I more than qualified before. The whole car buying experience was stressful from the start, and you would think that would be the end of it. But no, they manage to make it worse. Within 30 days I sold the vehicle because I was not satisfied with its condition. Regardless of warranty, with how poorly I was treated I wanted nothing to do with this dealer. So I traded the car in and had to still return to get my extended warranty refunded. Fortunately that was the least stressful part of my whole interaction with them. The reason why I am writing this review is because since this purchase I have received non stop calls, text messages, and emails from people at this dealership. FOR YEARS even though I do not own the car that I purchased from them and after several times telling whoever called me to leave me alone the calls persist. The number is blocked, yet I constantly receive voicemails still. I hope whoever at Maus Nissan reading this removed my name from whatever list it is on. I am tired of being harassed. Don't ever go to this dealer, and if you unfortunately do you may need a new number and email in order to be left alone.

A check engine light came on by Wednesday. I had it at the dealership. The service advisor advised me that the vehicle would be checked by the end of day if not first thing in the morning, Thursday. After not hearing back first thing in the morning Thursday, I called in the service advisor told me again that they were just about to bring it in to give him a couple of minutes and he would get back to me. It is now Friday I called in to see what is going on and why there is no simple response to my inquiry It is now Friday morning, and he's telling me that he has yet to bring in the truck to check it out that they are completely swamped Please be advised that I made a appointment for this. It wasn't like I just showed up. I tried to contact the service manager to see if I could get an explanation. The reviews match the office staff 100% no response no call back they didn't care. They had a work truck down for 3 days "we won't charge you for diagnosing" these people can't be serious. I told them I was fed up I am coming to get it. I thought it was going to be a three day wait but he told me it might only be a two day wait and that's what it was two days. I was happy about that. He replaced a fuel pump for me. I was very pleased with the work he did. He's professional and friendly and timely as I had my car back sooner than I thought I would. Before we drove up I asked if the car was worth it and Ray assured me the car was flawless. When we arrived, the car was OK, but not close to flawless. During the test drive I discovered a small problem with the convertible top mechanism and a sound in the door. Ray assured me it was a minor problem and it would be fixed in Miami for $20. His exact words were that the top was working perfectly fine before. I trusted Ray's words and decided to move forward with the purchase. Now three months in, the top hasn't functioned properly once. The sound in the door has become worse with the day, forcing me to bring it to the shop. At the shop they informed me the complete doorpanel was fixed with one screw and put together extremely poorly. The windows were not airtight to the top ($250 per side for adjustment, including repairment of doorpanel) and repairing the top itself could range anywhere from $350 to $750. Also they confirmed there was no possibility the top had ever functioned properly before in this condition. I have called and emailed Highway Motors multiple times without an answer and I have decided to leave it here. Don't buy your car from these guys. Although prices look good and cars look clean, these people lack honesty.

We were presented with a worksheet showing numbers that worked for us. Nick said the next step was completing a credit application. After our credit was run, Nick returned and said they had "made a mistake" on the worksheet and that one of our trades hadn't been listed properly -- meaning they could no longer honor the deal. No manager came out. No real explanation. No attempt to resolve it. Running a customer's credit before verifying deal accuracy is unacceptable. Credit pulls affect your financial profile, and that should never happen unless the dealership is confident in the numbers they present. This felt misleading and extremely unprofessional. If there was an error, it should have been caught before pulling credit. Be cautious -- this experience left us feeling like our credit was used as leverage after the fact. Not how business should be done.

Finally I called AAA to come and check out the problem. When the tech opened the hood, he informed me I had a tracking device attached to my car. Found out it was an Ikon GPS devise that they install on all their vehicles and charge the unsuspecting buyer for it. Had them remove it and asked for a refund for it. To this date, over a week, I have not received an answer and have not had any returns of phone calls left to the Service Manager, nor the Sales Manager. Since this new owner took over it is not a dealership I will deal with, even for a simple oil change.
