Best Toyota mechanics around. They have taken care of my 4Runner and are professional and very competitive. Had a headlight issue and needed to drive truck at night to work, but couldn't as previous owner put LED's in that I could not find to replace. Dave fit me right in and had Owen fix it to take regular lamps. So blessed to have an honest mechanic. Highly recommend them. Make sure to make an appointment as they are really busy. read more

Dave & Owen did a great job on my 1995 Celica. I bought it knowing while in great cosmetic condition it had suffered from typical lack of use maintenance items that needed to be addressed from the car sitting in a seniors garage in Florida. "Peggy", the co-owner (might not be her real name) is very rude. I brought my Toyota here for some repairs and she was completely unprofessional. She was overheard complaining about "gays and drag queens." As a gay man I completely appalled by her attitude towards the LGBTQ community and can only assume she hates herself as well.... Let me start off by saying I've had extensive experience with mechanics and car repair businesses, having owned over 50 cars in the past 40 years. Some mechanics are competent, some are honest, and some are ethical, but few are all three - like Mike at Toyo Doc. Mike is, without question, the most competent mechanic I've ever done business with. Two years ago, I took my recently-purchased used work truck in for a "make sure it's all good" fixup and it is still running great. If you want to believe the grumbling of a few people who feel the need to vent on yelp about their problems dealing with people, that's fine, go somewhere else. But what I am reviewing is a car repair business and if you want your Toyota or Lexus fixed by someone who knows what they are doing, with the right parts and a fair price, then Toyo Doc is the place to go. read more

I have never had any work done to my car at this place because the lady behind the counter was really unprofessional. I was excited about bringing my cars to this place, I am a Toyota owner and we like things done right. I told the lady that the car had a steering issue and I wanted them to fix that as well as it had a leaking shock. She told me that it was $70.00 to check out the steering issue. I didn't care about the $70.00, it was just different then what happens at the dealer. At the dealers I would drop the car, they would check it out and then tell me how much it would cost for the repair. I always would have them do the work once they tell me what its going to cost. She was determined to tell me how they do it there. With that type of attitude, I decided to just move on. The repairs that I needed were going to be over $1,000.00 and she just didn't care. I was excited about taking my cars to this place, I had meet the mechanics previously and was looking for a local shop to take care of my Toyota's. I have never had an issue like I encountered with this lady, I am not the chiseling type, I prefer quality and if you want quality work you have to be willing to pay. Great mechanics but lady is a bit rude. Yapping dog is a little unnerving. Make sure you get your appointment segregated either drop off or waiting or the shop nazi will snap at you. She should really consider stepping aside. This is why only 4 stars. They are a little on high side so if just something simple like oil change etc I would take to cheaper place. read more

I went to Toyodoc for the first time today and they did an excellent job. The head mechanic was quick and knowledgeable. The prices are great. They're way cheaper than the dealership all while giving you OEM parts or better. Excellent service and true concern for the customer. Being an industrial maintenance person for over 20 years, i have a very difficult time trying to find a mechanic I can trust. I have the skills to make these repairs myself but not the specailized tools. I have had my car in there three times in the last 2 years and have received exceptional service all three times. The last time was under warranty on work performed 9 months ago. I didn't even know I had a warranty. Michael took care of everything. If you have a Toyota, this is the ONLY place I would recommend taking your vehicle. read more

Absolutely not. First off, know that this was the third time I'd had work done on my Toyota. I'm 20 and this is my first car so I wanted it to be worked on by someone I could trust. The first two times I dealt solely with Michael and he gave me a good deal. I was happy. Then I guess the third time they thought they had me suckered in so they tried to screw me over with a ridiculously high price and a terrible attitude. My air conditioner was having issues so I called to have it looked at. The secretary/wife told me to bring it at 8:30. So I get there at 8:25 and she says "We'll call you when it's ready". I said I would be waiting with the car. She said she had scheduled me for a drop off. That's great; you didn't tell me that though. She said quite loudly "I don't know why people don't understand what a drop off is". Maybe you should explain it to them when they set up the appointment instead of copping an attitude about it! Wow! You never TOLD me that it was a drop off. You just said "bring it". A half hour later Michael comes in and tells me what he did to my car. He added some freon blah blah blah. I see 35 dollars written on the bill. This was okay. Then his wife goes and adds ANOTHER 35 dollars for labor. Labor? What labor? All they did was pump freon into my car. So the charge was over 70 dollars, which I thought was ridiculous. Later, my mom hears what I paid and thinks I got swindled. So she went with me back to ToyoDoc and asks what a freon change should be. The wife snottily replies "What kind of car? What are you looking for?", and then asks one of the mechanics and he answers 70 dollars. Okay, so at least they charged what they meant to charge. Then my mom says "Don't you think that's a little high for a freon change?". And the wife immediately goes up in arms saying "If you don't like my prices you can go somewhere else...you're paying for certified Toyota technicians, not some Jiffy Lube...we have to make a living here", etc. Incredibly rude and uncalled for. As a snotty, halfhearted effort at "customer service" she says "Do you want your money back or something? We'll give you your money back, just don't ever come here again". This made me laugh. Bitch, we're not coming back anyway, refund or not, and you're to blame. By the way, I didn't take the refund. They did the work they were supposed to, so I didn't feel a refund was necessary. I did, however, decide to heed the second part of her sentence. I'm never going there again. These people are supposed to be Christians, having religious propaganda everywhere to fool people into believing they're honest, and here they are trying to screw everyone over with their ludicrous prices; using the excuse of "Toyota certified technicians". Yeah, I don't think it takes a Toyota specialist to change my freon, sorry. Stay away. Far away. EDIT: Notice how all these reviews are popping up recently by people who have never reviewed before on Yelp? Hmmm, interesting. My guess is that these "reviews" are by friends of the owners. And just to clarify, I don't really have an issue with Michael. His prices are high but he overall does good work and is nice. His wife is another story though. SHE'S the one who made me decide never to come back. I would've returned to Toyodoc after this little incident if there was something majorly wrong with my Corolla that I would only trust a specialist to fix. But thanks to her attitude I'm going down the street to Sunrunner instead. I've never met such a nasty, awful person in the customer service industry. Don't believe me? Go in the shop and see for yourself. If you question anything at all, she'll get the snottiest, most condescending attitude. Isn't one of the tenets of Christianity "Love thy neighbor"? Yeah, she could use to get the memo on that one. With such a plethora of auto shops in the area (and yes this is the only Toyota specialist in town, but let's face it, how often do you really NEED one?), this place frankly can't afford to have such a bitch running the front desk. read more

To begin with I was impressed and satisfied a couple of times with the work that was done on my vehicle. Then, on one occasion, I was told that they could restore one of my headlights to look just like the other. It was going to cost $50.00. I left my car overnight as was suggested. The next day I went to pick up my car. Michael (the owner) said, "I did the best I could, the headlight is shining bright; however, it does not look esthetically beautiful as the other headlight.". Thus, he said he would only charge me $35.00. I paid what was asked for without really looking at my car or the workmanship. When I got home both my husband and I were upset because it appeared as if nothing was done to the headlight. It still had a terrible film/haze. The next day I called and spoke to John, telling him we were not pleased and that I wanted to talk to Michael. John said Michael was not in, he would call him and ask him to call me. John called me back and said Michael would either try again to restore the headlight, and if he couldn't, he would give me a price for a new one. I told John that was not acceptable and I wanted my refund. John said Michael would call me the next day. Michael never did. By the way in Toyo Doc's office/waiting area there was a poster stating that they can restore car headlights. Also both Michael and his wife suggested to me that they could make the blurry headlight look like new. The receipt even states that all work is warranted. I am not pleased with their attitude nor workmanship. Will definitely not return to Toyo Doc! read more

well 1300 hundred dollars later and my car is worsse than when i brought it in.....hmmmmmm did a break job two months ago and that was awful also....they rechecked the breaks and stated they saw nothing wronghowever the breaks worked fine after that sorrryyy guys something was wrong!!!!!!! you just covered your assparagus. did you not see the rings were bad when you did the valve job and timing belt... a good mechanic would. i am extremely disappointed. not to mention broke and carless.....thank you toyota doc. yes car less but i will never be careless and bring my cars to them ever again!!!!!!!!!!! and they advertise they are christians...... read more
