David is one of the most innovative and knowledgeable instructors I have come on contact with. I am not an easy athlete to coach, David finds a way, every time, to get though to me and make a huge difference in my game. I will never have another instructor, he is stuck with me. He is a true professional, makes the lessons very fun while being all business and serious about improvement. I will send my wife and kids to him. I have witnessed him work with all levels athletes and all levels of talent and experience and he gives 100%'to everyone all of the time. It isn't often you come across a talented person and genuinely wonderful person. Morgan Run is one lucky club to have David present and he is the very reason I have dedicated myself to being the best I can be on the course. A first class instructor and an even better person. I consider him a friend as well as my coach. A very rare find and and great person!!!

3 years ago I was a 9 handicapper and for reasons that I could not understand I gradually ballooned…read moreup to a 14. Despite a lot of practice and a few lessons from different pros I was unable to get my old clubhead speed and accuracy back. Although I am 68 I maintain my fitness and my flexibility and strength are little different from 10 years ago. My first lesson with Brian was last month. I had some trepidation about having a lesson without seeing the ball flight on a range. However I greatly appreciated the fact that the lesson was completely private on his property, which made things much more personal than on a public driving range. His equipment and observations told me how I was striking the ball quite accurately and he made salient observations of my grip, set up and swing path that none of the other pros I have seen picked up on. After the lesson I returned to the range, and later the golf course, and I saw immediate improvements, which further improved with more practice. My weak fades were now gone! In fact I found myself overclubbing myself based upon previous expectations. I found that I could take one club less and still hit the greens. This is all after just one lesson! For those of you who have taken lessons from many different pros, as I have, you can really see the difference with Brian's lessons, of course combined with practice. He works with your physical capabilities rather than trying to teach you "his swing," as other pros have attempted unsuccessfully with me. This is especially important for a senior golfer who does not have the spinal and shoulder flexibility of a younger golfer. Thanks BRIAN, and I look forward to future lessons and swing improvements. You have made golf fun for me again!

When I started taking lessons I had a little bit of experience under my belt, but let's face it, much like a lot of golfers I wasn't very good. Bill's teaching method is very simple and easy to understand. He has a camera so he can do a video analysis of your swing. This is cool because he is able to pinpoint areas of your swing that need improvement. Bill is friendly and doesn't stare at the clock during your lesson. I like that Bill instructs at the Mission Bay golf course because it is a more laid back environment. This is very positive when you are nervous about learning and having people watch you. Bill is a great instructor and I recommend him to anyone looking to learn or improve their game.

When it was my turn I asked for help with my short game and he gave me the basics to work on. But... he said let's see your full swing so I hit a couple of 7-iron shots. He said I was leaving a lot of power on the table and showed me how to utilize my wrists better. After the lesson I hit 15-20 balls and it finally clicked. The next day I went out on the course and hit my 7-iron consistently 10% further than I did 25 years ago. All of my clubs hit 20-25% further the next day on the course. He showed me how to feel the swing in 2 minutes with one of his props and it changed my game for years to come. Initially I told him I was losing distance because of my age but he showed me that age can be compensated with technique. Thanks Brian.
