I saw that they had egg dishes for breakfast (which is uncommon for a lot of these Spanish cities) and I've been dying for a good hearty protein-filled meal. We sat inside and both ordered the Lomo (pork filets) with 2 fried eggs which comes with bread and fries (of course...because they bread and fries is their filler here in spain), all this for €6! This was probably one of the biggest breakfast for the value so far in Spain and was very delicious! Service was good, some servers speak english, or at least enough to get by helping us. They also accept credit cards here.

We would have missed this place completely had it not been for our hotel recommending it. As a…read morematter of fact, I asked Yelp to include it so people could know it was there! Ugarit is a simple cafe, open early for breakfast and then for light food through the afternoon. This isn't a tapas/dinner spot. But breakfast is something they do and do well. The eggs were ridiculously fresh (though to be fair, the eggs I had in Spain were always good), the cafe con leche and chocolate caliente were delish and even the breakfast ham/bacon (which I don't even eat meat by the way) was good. That's saying a lot. This did not strike me as a touristy spot. Lots of locals were here the few times we stopped in. Plus, it's always encouraging when the staff is friendly and accommodating. Big pluses.

We now see why: a beautiful late-night space with friendly servers, cheap prices, and amazing tapas and wine. We didn't realize all drinks came with essentially a half-meal (not a small plate). in this case a delicious stewed chicken (leg/thigh) with bread. But we got the cuttlefish and octopus as well (both char grilled, swimming in olive oil and garlic, amazing, melt-in-your-mouth perfection) which was definitely too much food. But we ate it (mostly), had more drinks, and went home happy. Would recommend to anyone willing to get away from the central city.

You can eat dinner here for €12. Every drink comes with a small plate of food. Three of these…read moreplates make a dinner. This place is beyond popular. The queue at opening is over 100 people. The interior decorations are wild. Sensory overload. Get you Catholic on. The seating is terrible. The tables are set on wine barrels, the seats are uncomfortable and you cannot situate your legs without discomfort. This is not a place to linger and relaxed. It is high energy. If you think about ordering a main dish know that the portions are HUGE. We stupidly ordered 2 for the 2 of us. The food is OK. Nothing special. But they serve a lot of it. And with a million French fries. La Quinta comes with an amuse bouche mini "Dove Bar". + Prices are low. + well lit. + High energy level will keep you going. + service from the runners 0 service from the waiter - paper napkins - - flatware €45.5 for dinner for 2
