After the sandwich, I was onto my 2nd cup of tea, and wanted a pastry to go with it. They have a good selection. The waitress ushered me over to take a look at their pastries at the counter. (Almost had a tapas feel to it, except it was a countertop full of pastries.) I wanted something with fruit in it, and she described some of the pastries they had, but thought I might find them too sweet, and suggested that I might be happier with a blueberry muffin instead. I don't know how she could possibly have known what I would like or wouldn't like, but the muffin ended up being an excellent choice for me (and went well with the tea to boot!). The waiter didn't bring ours out until much later when a local lady noticed he didn't bring us anything and pointed it out to him. If it wasn't for her, I'm sure he would have assumed we didn't know any better and cheated us. As for the plates we ordered, they were thoroughly average. It's served with honey on the side that you can drizzle over the eggplant. I don't like eggplant at all because of the taste and texture, but I couldn't taste that this was eggplant at all, so I really enjoyed it.
