Built in 1946 the Sierra Sky Park Airport is a small airport located in Fresno California. It has a…read morefairly small asphalt runway topping out at just under 3000 feet thus only smaller general aviation planes can use it. The single runaway is oriented 12/30 and can average as many as 30-35 plane movement per day. There is no commercial service nor is there any sort of terminal facilities available. So why review this field and why the 5 stars. Sierra Sky Park was the first residential aviation community in the world. Think of it as your normal sort of housing development and add an airport. Then you make the streets extra wide and the garages in the homes even bigger. Thus resident of the community can land their planes, taxi down the streets to their homes, and part a small plane in their own garage. There are about 110 home sin this unique community. Its really trippy the first time you see a plane land and then just taxi down the street with other cars like its a normal activity or something....... It is one of the more unique airports in the world.

This location is just off the 99 east on Shaw Ave. Can't miss it on the north side of the street. Lots of parking. We go in and I know what everybody wants. Five of the Number 1's, which is a double double, order of fries and a medium drink. I order them all animal style extra grilled onions, except for one burger for my one female member of my crew. She wants it animal style but protein style, which is hold the bun and wrap the burger in lettuce. OK, yes, they do that and the cashier repeats my order back to me. The cost is around $12 per person and tax. The inside is clean and not too crowded, but still busy. We get seated and wait for our order. It takes two of us to pick up all the food. We all got our drinks right after we put the order in as well as condiments of catchup and extra sauce. The food was fabulous as usual. I like stopping at In N Out's cause I know everybody will be happy and it doesn't take all day like some sit down restaurants. My double double makes me do the happy dance with my feet under the table! OK, we outta here and I might need to stop at the Starbucks across the street before we hit the road again.

In matter of fact, the charter bus had to park on the street, thankfully, the driver was able to park right in the front. The drive-thru line does wrap around and sometimes blocks things. If you don't mind navigating the tight parking, it's a great spot with good service. One more thing to add. This location is smaller, but I might be wrong. Hard to find seats. The vibe is definitely there, especially when they call your number.

His home is in Fresno and although we were unable to visit inside the home during the time we had visited, I was so glad to come across it and cross this goal off my bucket list. This museum is by far one of the most impactful, minimalistic, innovative, and informative museums I've visited. It walks through William Saroyan's life and gives visitors a true understanding of the person he was through his publications, art, interviews and hologram. After an hour, I walked away truly learning more of our Armenian icon and proud of the mark he has left in Fresno, CA. If you're visiting Fresno, I highly recommend visiting this museum, especially if you're Armenian.

i went on wednesday night with a group that included 2 kiddos (age 4 and 10). it was everyone's…read morefirst time and we didn't have any expectations, but it turned out to be really fun. the golf course is halloween themed with scary props, zombies and ghosts that jump out, spook or sing. luckily, these kiddos weren't scared. the lil one was distracted but we were all able to play. there are 16 holes total and you can score points online by scanning a QR code. everyone got a club appropriate for their size and got to choose a colored ball. the course starts off simple and then gets more clever and challenging. there's also some arcade games and an air hockey table out front. the arcade games are mostly racing or shooting games. the plus is that it's free/included with admission (except for the pinball machine and claw machine games. however, some games were old or broken. a bonus plus is that they allowed ins and outs as long as we had a receipt. we played for an hour and paused midway to step out and grab food. we came back an hour later and were able to continue golfing. overall, a fun wholesome night. the golf course is dimly lit and can get chilly. kids under a certain age are free. admission is priced separately for adults and kids. plenty of parking.
