My go to hairstylist here has been Saba. She has consistently provided reliable and skillful services at the salon. With her attention to detail and personalized approach, she ensures that every haircut, hair color, eyebrow shaping, and root touch-up meets my expectations. She also provides suggestions tailored to my needs, for which I admire her a lot. Her friendly demeanor creates a comfortable atmosphere, making each visit enjoyable. 5 stars for her! The salon has a more compact layout. The space to heat your color treated hair is so tight and is in an awkward spot. I've to reduce one point mostly because of that. Although, its not a deal breaker but for these treatments, I expect a nice and relaxing ambiance. When I'm looking for ambience and getting pampered then I go somewhere else. I'd highly recommend they work on the layout to provide better customer experience. From my experience, some of their associates are very good however there are few rude associates too. Once their payment system was not working, and not the front desk lady but another associate asked me out loud at the top of her voice how much you want to pay for tip. This is just one of many incidents. Thankfully, she was not my stylist, otherwise I probably wouldn't have returned to a rude person. It has been a good experience for me with Saba. to say I am severely disappointed is a understatement. They are absolutely ridiculous and so unprofessional. Firstly I came in with my sister for a haircut (a TRIM). They proceeded to cut my curly hair without making it straight or measuring it or making sure it's straight. she just cut it. Now my hair is different length it's ugly and hideous. my hair used to reach my butt when it's straight, but now I have a BOB!!! I expected to come out with healthy hair no split ends but I left HALF BALD!! and not to mention they made a rude comment about my hair and told me that I should be going to an African-American store instead since my hair is so hard to manage. that is absolutely racist. and whatever I told them that they made my hair so short, she was like oh well go to the blacks. Not to mention, they pulled out my hair so much my scalp still burns. I really don't think my hair is hard to manage at all. I just have curly hair. I have 3B hair, which is not that hard to manager. they also said I shouldn't be coming here since this place is just for people with straight hair. they literally sat here and told me not to come here again. Not clean and over priced. Went in to get my hair washed and blow dryed. I was told it would be $30. I was there an hour and saw a lot of people getting their eyebrows done. They never wiped down any chairs between clients. People lay their heads on these chairs. There was no wipe down , no plastic cover, no spraying of any substance to cleanse the chairs between clients. Also they use a wipe substance in a bowl it looks like baby powder before each wax. They just put their finger in the bowl before each client and apply to the clients face without gloves or washing their hands. I saw them do this over and over again. Very disgusting. When I checked out I was told it would be $50 not $30. Receptionist said it starts at $30 so I also felt deceived about the price. Paying $50 to get my hair washed and blow dryer is way over priced. read more

I'm very picky with my hair stylists and have driven rather far (New Orleans) just to get my hair cut by someone I trust. I then requested a screen and I was approached no less than three times and asked if I wanted to take the screen down once the males in the waiting area completed their business. Scheduled a microdermabrasion special that they were running. I came on time, there was some confusion to who was going to perform the task and whether I was going to sit in the open area or to a private room. They decided to put me in a room. I asked how long it would take and she replied 20 minutes. The woman rubbed something on my face and then a 2nd lady came in and said something and they both walked out. I heard someone after me go into the room near mine. 5 minutes later, 1st woman came back and rubbed off what she put on my face and then cut on a steamer and walked back out. 2nd lady came in and wheeled out what I assume is the machine needed and took it to another room. She came back 20 minutes later with said machine, by now it's 33 minutes since my appointment began and I let her know I had to leave. She immediately got the 1st woman and said she'd begin right now. I repeated that I had to go and she said it would take 5 minutes. I left since in my gut I knew something was off. I really don't know how long the process takes nor can I attest to whether it's beneficial. I can say that there is miscommunication and waste of customers time. To be honest, all of my previous facials took place in dermatologist offices or at a spa and I've never had the person leave the room nor anyone come into my room once I was set up. I could be wrong about all of the interruptions and taking the machine in and out my room. Maybe that's normal for smaller day spa places. I had high hopes for the place close to home. read more

I went in today at 4pm to get the 24k Gold Facial. I wanted to know the difference between the facials , there was no in depth description. But the receptionist was nice enough to do a quick rundown of them. When I went in I felt as the lady was out the room more than she was in the room to do the facial. I wish she would have told me what she was doing as she was doing it. I don't know much abt facials but i do know that it is supposed to help get rid of blackheads and I don't think she worked on that much. It felt super rushed. She applied something at the end and told me I can stay there till I'm ready. Two minutes later she comes back and asks if I'm ready to get up. I overhear another customer saying if she could start her hair already. Would not recommend facials. UPDATE- manager called. And then put the lady on the phone who did my facial and as I'm telling her my concerns she hung up on me. Lmfao read more

I went in here today for eyebrows threading for the second time for my teenage daughter.. so we asked only for "clean up" no shape or anything, just wanted the middle and under eyebrow to be removed... Kasy was the lady, and she completely messed up her eyebrows! They don't even match when she was done! NOT following covid guidelines! Workers and customers not wearing masks!! The doors aren't kept open so there is no open ventilation meaning EVERYONE in the building should be wearing masks at all times. As a healthcare worker and someone who is high risk, I was concerned for my own safety when I entered. I asked everyone to keep masks on and workers eye rolled at me instead. I have had patients die from covid and was extremely upset to see that masks were not enforced, especially when it's state law right now. Will be reporting them for sure. read more

I had the worst experience with one of the employees at this location. I have been growing my eyebrows for over a year because they are very thin and sparse. I informed both the front and the lady who was doing my threading. I am unaware of her name, but she spoke Gujarati. She proceeded to thread my brows telling me I have hair on my brow bone. I told her to stop three times, and finally raised my voice the fourth time. She ignored me and proceeded to tell me she doesn't care and that she would fix my eyebrows, which she didn't. She ruined my eyebrows, which I had been working long and hard on growing. She also went down and threaded my cheek, cutting me badly. Also, she brought out this powder, filled in my eyebrows despite me telling her not to, and kept pushing me to buy that product after I repeatedly told her to stop. My mom decided to give Aisha's a try to have her hair done and it turned out to be a big costly mistake. While her hair was being cut, she stated with the stylist that she was taking off more hair than she had requested. The stylist unfortunately did not accommodate her request which my mom expressed her concerns again. Then the stylist turned my mom around with her back to the mirror and proceeded to continue cutting. Crazy!!! They charged her $20 for the cut, but also an additional $60 for "styling" for a total of over $80. We will never go back to such an unprofessional and gross overcharging business. read more
