I let him know we had a 20 year old unit that had never been serviced, and that we were sending a child off to college, and really didn't want to replace it! I had 3 different AC techs out to try and fix my AC unit. one guy didnt even want to do the work and told me i should just replace the airfilter. next guy just recharged my coolant but didnt inspect my system so the root problem was never fixed so back to square one. Last week I had posted a "one star" review that I have since removed, and I will explain why. Initially, when the technician came to my house, he offered an extremely quick diagnosis that took all of about 10 seconds (replace vent cover with a different type, and change filters). It took all of about a minute, and when I asked if he could make these changes, I was told that he could not replace the filters or install a new cover (that I would purchase, of course). So, basically, I was left with a diagnosis but, due to an injury to my foot, I had no real way of fixing the problem....so the problem still existed, and I was out the $59 service call with the prospects of finding another company or handyman to handle what needed to be done, or at least what was recommended. I gave the company my single star review and the company's owner, Klaus Gartner, immediately replied to my former post and offered to come out to see what he could do. In fact, "offered" is probably not fair, as he urged me to contact him. I took him up on his offer and he came out today. Sometimes the true measure of a company is not by how well they perform a task, but by how they respond to an adverse situation. Klaus offered no excuses (even though it is an extremely busy time for them due to the heat wave we've been having) and shared that he is going to speak with the previous technician (who was friendly, just didn't fix my problem). Klaus then proceeded to replace the vent cover (we had already replaced the filter) and -- cue music -- I had wonderful, cool, air flow again!! Additionally, Klaus offered (and later immediately put on his calendar) a follow-up maintenance inspection and filter replacement service towards the end of November -- FREE of charge (and, of course, he did not charge me for today's work either). What is most important to me is the ability to be able to trust and rely on vendors and technicians that I work with and call on. I can honestly say, through his efforts, communication, and willingness to make things right, that I feel that I can now count on Klaus and Airworx, and feel comfortable recommending them. read more

Our home is 20 years old and still had the original AC & Furnace system. The original builder had used very low end components that used too much electricity. After research on Yelp, we called Airworx. They arrived exactly on time for the first appointment, assessed our existing system and provided us with a very reasonable quote to replace it. We set the date for the work and again, they arrived right on time. Their 3-man team was very polite and professional. The work was completed in less than 8 hours, the system was fully tested and they covered all of the operational details with us. In addition, they showed us some errors that the original HVAC contractor had made. Our new system is light years beyond what we had. It's extremely quiet and the entire home is cool now. Super unhappy with the service I received I had them come out to my house cause my air wasn't working they told me it was my coil in the attic that was over 3500 dollars to replace then they said I have no freon in my unit so they put 7 pounds in at a 100.00$ a pound but then my air only worked for a few hours called them back and they came back out there was no Freon in my unit at all they refilled it once again and again the same problems where accruing where my air wouldn't work and then they wanted to charge me again to refill it like I already paid you to fix it and now it still isn't working will never suggest anyone to use them feel completely scammed and my air still isn't working how it should for 4200$ read more

In short, this company is quick to respond, more readily available than other companies in the area, honest and friendly, and fairly priced!! As I enjoy my AC on this hot day, I am very grateful for them!! When my AC went out during the heatwave (115 degrees that day + 7 months pregnant= desperate situation!), Airworx was the only company that was available ASAP to fix it. I contacted them in the late evening and they were able to come the next morning (even though it was a Sunday!). Every other company in the area was backed up for 2-4 days. Klaus, the owner, was very friendly, knowledgeable, and arrived on time. He said he and his staff had been working 17 hour days to address everyone's AC needs during the heatwave! He quickly assessed and fixed what was wrong and explained everything to me. He also gave me lots of info on general AC maintenance and even showed my husband how to change out the AC filter in the attic (which, as new home owners, we had no idea about!). I am a Realtor and had a client who's AC quit working in the middle of the summer heat. She filed a claim with our home warranty company and the technician diagnosed it as needing a new compressor.
