I know Airrosti can't fix everything, but I want their assessment first. The mom who is the secretary said to call if I wanted to cancel as I was busy when she wanted to book my next appt. I called to cancel this appt stating I could not make it and was out of town. Fast forward no contact no calls nothing for months from this business then they send me a FIFTY DOLLAR LATE FEE. I called again, spoke to the same lady, and she assured me that she cancelled and it can be disregarded. Fast forward, I receive a bill for TWO HUNDRED AND FIFTY DOLLARS and a threatening credit reporting and collections notice. All for missing an appt that I was assured was canceled then reassured again to disregard the bill. This business is grifting or running a scam trying to profit off of missed appointment fees. Airrosti had been recommended to me a couple times by friends and coworkers, but I'd never had occasion to visit before. A couple months ago, I began having a pain in my forearm and elbow (which turned out to be tennis elbow) that kept bothering me and didn't seem to want to go away on its own. I visited a health clinic and they referred me to Airrosti, which I was eager to try since it had already been recommended. I'm glad I went, because Dr Morris was able to clear it up almost completely in 4 sessions (over about 3 weeks). The manual fascia manipulation she did was sometimes pretty painful, but it really seemed to help, in combination with the PT exercises. I would recommend her highly. I'd also like to note that the appointments were always on time (!), which is a nice change from what I've come to expect from doctor's office visits. In 2020, Dr. Morris and her team completely misdiagnosed my hip pain and tried to remedy with continuous office visits that included deep tissue massage and stretching. It turned out that I needed a complete hip replacement. Fortunately, i had a total hip replacement and received excellent care from Dr. Shelby Carter (now retired) and the hip is now as good as new. I regret the time and money (mostly out of pocket) i wasted at Airrosti. read more

I was having some pain in my right shoulder. A doctor prescribed an anti-inflammatory, but the pain would persist. One of my tennis buddies told me about Dr. Alfie Sundqvist and I went. He quickly diagnosed the cause of the problem and did a treatment. I did the exercises religiously and my shoulder started feeling much better. We did a second treatment the next week and my shoulder is back to normal. I would highly recommend Dr. Alfie Sundqvist. read more

Not 100% negative, but also not a huge positive. I will start with the pros: easy to make an appt, streamlined record keeping, easy online access, good communication, some stretches that have served me well, and they did get some myofascial adhesions to subside. Cons: no recommendation to get imaging from the start (I cannot stress enough to do this period), for supposed "spine" experts no seeming clue that the pain in my shoulders, arms, and hands is 100% directly related to the multiple blown discs, very severe osteoarthritis, and narrowing of the spinal canal which is creating pressure on my nerves all of which are literally textbook symptoms of spine issues. I came to understand this after seeing a pain medicine doctor and when I asked for imaging, he told me nearly verbatim what he thought was going on and nailed it. Additionally, severe osteoarthritis in my hips, a fractured femur head, and femur necrosis in my left hip all severe enough to qualify for a hip replacement. All areas they did their harsh treatments on, I am sure that helped the situation. Further they definitely did not follow their own protocol and did not recommend different treatment after multiple sessions, and as another person stated, they chased the symptoms, in my case, from shoulders, arms, hands, back, glutes, thighs, and calves. Definitely an air of misogyny, fattest, and for the love of goodness do not even suggest work from home is superior to sitting in traffic for 2 or more hours a day. Yes, that is were most of lose our time to workout, duh, we do not live 10 minutes away and get to drive up and park 30 seconds from the office door. Pull your heads out already. Honestly when you are in pain you are not thinking straight. If I had been in less pain I would have ended the association at 3 visits myself. In short, if you are not a serious athlete, not 50 or younger, not skinny or a muscle builder skip this office altogether. I think I can recommend Dr. De Arton at the Far West location over anyone at the North Shields Drive location. I think if I had stuck with Dr. De Arton that he would have recommended a different course of treatment. read more

I have had severe pain in my wrist for over 8 months. I couldn't move my wrist, thumb and it would ache and throb, even at night when I was trying to sleep. I made an appointment with Dr. Morris, and she was warm, friendly and so kind. She listened and then ran some tests, and then she rubbed my muscles in my arm. That part hurt, but in an oddly good way. Then she retested and we noticed immediate improvement. After, I was sent to Simon, the funniest and smartest assistant I've ever met. He assigned me some exercises, showed me how to do them, taped up my arm, and sent me on my way. They sent me an email that showed all of my exercises in the app. My arm bruised from the experience, but I CAN MOVE MY WRIST AGAIN!! And the pain went from an 8 to a 2!! Just in three days! I am absolutely overjoyed! The best part, besides experiencing a full turnaround in days after MONTHS of pain, was that Dr. Morris and Simon treated me like family. I felt safe and welcomed and cared for. This is not a cold, unfriendly clinic, like some places I've been. I hope I never need them again, but if I'm ever hurt, this is where I'll go! I came to Airrosti for extremely knee pain. I initially was not sure why I was in pain, assumed I had hurt it at the gym without realizing it. After completed 8 sessions with Dr. Jake I was discharged thanks to my great improvement! I can now walk without a limp, I'm no longer avoiding walking / working out, and though I have some discomfort with some movements (because things take time) I feel like I'm on MUCH better shape regarding mobility and pain. Though I've completed my sessions, Dr. Jake gave me several excercies, stretches and tips to do at home. I really appreciated that because it shows me that the firm is not money hungry (like some other healthcare providers). They really just want to see me get better. Plus Dr. Jake is clearly very passionate and educated in his work, so I felt very well taken care of. I also want to give a shout-out to Andrew! I have visited the office of Dr. Tara Morris for a few different injuries over the past few years. I love that she always has a treatment plan that allows me to continue with my normal routines without needing lots of pain medication. The one time that I had a problem that she could not address, she referred me to another doctor that was equally wonderful. As long a I follow the physical therapy exercise and icing instructions that are provided by her office, my injuries have always cleared up quickly. I love that her office provides videos of the suggested exercises to remind me what I should be doing at home. In addition, Dr. Morris always follows up a few days after treatment to make sure everything is going ok and to see if I have any questions. read more

I'm sorry to write such a scathing review, because I genuinely enjoyed meeting both of these providers, but this is about the care I received. I would have liked to have read this before my visit. Airrosti came to my workplace presenting as functional health specialists during a wellness fair. I thought they could help me with this hip pain I'd been having. I first came to Airrosti at Dr. Pappas office for 4 visits Oct 2017. I wasn't getting better, with Dr. Pappas and it also wasn't excruciating at the time. I wanted to see a female doctor since some of the work being done was on my glutes. I saw Dr. Morris for 9 visits (3 mo, Mar-May 2018). At the first visit I told her, I thought I had a labral tear. I wasn't certain, didn't know about orthopedic medicine as a discipline. She did her assessment and said it wasn't a tear, and over the course of those multiple visits - chased pain in my body from: hip, glute, thigh, ankle, even achilles tendon. If you've experienced Airrosti, you know how intensely painful these treatments are. They break up facial adhesions. I almost vomited after the achilles. However I was motivated to be well. I was prescribed a lot of PT and foam rolling, told I could keep lifting (toward the end) and kept moving. At one point I was doing 40 minutes of foam rolling twice a day, living in epsom salt baths and slathering Arnica on like it was going out of style. I didn't know foam rolling wasn't supposed to be more than a slight uncomfortable feeling until recovery. My body started to shift to the right. It didn't favor using the left side, my affected hip. Eventually, I started to lose my right pinky toenail from shifting that far over. I had trouble sleeping, and walked like an 80 year old. Pain became Acute. After being frustrated with this treatment, I sought out a chiropractor. After a few months of visits, I hear the word "orthopedics" in the office when another patient discussed their treatment options in the hallway. Sure enough, I go to an orthopedist and even before imaging they said I presented "like a classic case of labral tear." I had surgery in October of 2018, and recently returned to full exercise in 2019. I tell you dear reader because: * Airrosti providers protocol is to refer you out after a few visits with no improvement. I went through a ridiculous amount of money, time and energy doing this when I should have been referred out. I do take responsibility for not going to a Physician as well, however I am still incredibly angry to have wasted precious years on this. I even emailed her after the fact to tell her it was indeed was a tear. That way she could learn from this and not make the same mistake with another person. I got: "I'm not surprised that something structural was going on since the pain kept returning." I sincerely regret not going to a MD or physical therapist straight away. Don't make my same mistake. Go for a few visits if need be, then get out. read more

Over the last few years, I started to really feel like my shoulder wasn't 'sitting right.' It was uncomfortable, and I was constantly adjusting my shoulders and posture. A friend recommended that I try Airrosti. I started reviewing profiles and really liked Dr. Morris' information. I then had another friend advise they had seen her before and really liked working with her. So I set up an appointment. My first appointment with Dr. Morris was great. She quickly identified my issue, but she worked through all of her tests to ensure she didn't miss any other potential issues or underlying causes. We got to work straight away, and she worked through many different muscles over the course of four sessions. It was surprising how many muscles connected to the spot where my issue was, but I could really feel improvement after just 15 minutes of (often deep, but in a good hurt way) muscle work. After each session, I then would work with Ben for physical therapy stretches and exercises. He would walk me through each move, have me complete a few on my own to make sure I had everything correct. I felt very comfortable asking questions to make sure I had it right. I would then receive a follow up email with everything we worked on to continue at home. All in all, I can't say enough how happy I am that I took the time to work through this process, and I will continue working on all of the things I've learned to ensure the issue never returns. Dr. Tara Mahar Morris is wonderful! She has worked hard to help our daughter recover from her sprained ankle. This was our first experience with Airrosti and we didn't know what to expect.. I've gone to Airrosti twice now, once for my shoulder and once for my back. The shoulder was a lingering injury from childhood, but Mike helped me learn proper stretching and at home rehab which has basically eliminated any issues. I just have to put the work in. My back was a serious injury that put me in bed for a couple days. After three sessions and proper stretching I was able to return to the gym after only missing 3 weeks total. Dr Morris and Ben are magic. An MRI showed a labral tear of my shoulder. After months of PT, I thought id have to go the surgical route. My friend finally convinced me to see dr Morris. I won't lie, I thought " what is she going to do that doctors, steroid shots, months of PT couldnt?" Boy was I wrong! I am not exaggerating when I say that my pain decreased 80% after my first session with her. Turns out, while I did have a tear, the source of my pain was muscular imbalances and tightness and she got that fixed right away! The best part about my session with her I'd that I learned a lot about how my body works. So if I have any minor pains, I know what to do to try and help myself. That to me is priceless! I've also learned so much about strengthening from Ben. We tweaked the way I do traditional strengthening exercises and it's made a huge difference. If something doesn't work, he'll adapt and find something that does! They are listed as a Chiropractor. Please know that this isn't a place where all they do snap-crackle-pop you. Also. If you are still hesitant, the woman works with the US swim team. Dr.Morris was great, compassionate and professional. Walked me through what the likely causes of my injury were and how best to move forward. Ben was also great, gave me some exercises and lessons on how to stretch and release knotted fascia. 5* for them. Overall, 3* due to the billing experience. Airrosti confirmed insurance coverage prior to my visit but followed up a month later stating this confirmation was incorrect. I was responsible for the entire amount. read more

Dr. Tara fixed my sprained ankle really quickly. On the day of my first office visit (the morning after I sprained it), I couldn't put any weight on it and was hopping around. Immediately after she worked on it, I could actually walk on it and no longer needed pain medication. After the second treatment a few days later, it was mostly better but still weak. I was able to get back to dancing and my regular exercise program. Now a week later it's mostly healed but it'll still take a little more time and exercise to restore strength and full range of motion. Either way, I'm happy with the care I got. They are very good about seeing patients on time with no waiting. I was in and out in under an hour for each visit. read more

I started coming here as a referral from my insurance company for chiropractic work. Having been to traditional chiropractors in the past, I was interested in trying out myofascial release to treat my injury as opposed to the table adjustments. So far, I really like it. You get time with the doctor and time with the physical therapist to learn proper techniques to avoid further injury and encourage healing. Dr. Morris is very warm and inviting, making her patients comfortable. She explained what was going on with my muscles and how treatment will go. I also have to bring my infant to the appointments and the staff are always welcoming. Maria, the PT, also helps teach exercises and sends them via email. The myofascial release is intense, but worth the pain and the practitioners tell you how to ice and care for yourself after treatment. I definitely recommend. read more
