After many opinions from several experts in the field of chronic pain and a rare spinal cord…read moredisease, I went back after a year of major frustration, depression, and anxiety to Dr. Malone and Dr. Harper for another look at everything. Unlike the neurologist I've been seeing for over a year, they did not dismiss my symptoms and actually listened to me. They are compassionate and don't make you feel like your symptoms aren't real. Awaiting a full spine and brain MRI they ordered with no hesitation. They really made me feel at ease, and I know they are determined to get to the bottom of my complex situation. They really care and I highly recommend them to anyone, especially if you are needing doctors who truly listen. They told me they we get me back to having a better quality of life, and I believe they are determined to do this. Highly recommend.

I've been suffering with a busted disk, pinching my nerves, numbing my arm, awful. For a long time it's felt like somebody was just poking me 24 hours a day really hard in the shoulder and back and I have not been able to relax or get a good nights sleep. Dr Mark Malone was focused, he spent time with me, listened to me, explained all of my options far in advance, discussed what I could expect and I am so grateful for his help. He has a gracefor bedside manner. He really is just a gentle, kind soul guy, exactly someone you trust working on you. Not to mention everybody else involved. Couldn't possibly praise Dr. Stevenson enough or every staff member. Every single person explained to me exactly why they were there and what their role would be. Everyone was nice and gentle, it was great. They have a great operation at APC. Highly recommend.

After slowly working back to walking again, I'm attempting to do PT, but the pain is still intense, and sleep is difficult. Orthopedist doctor prescribed me Vicodin, and when I asked for an extension, referred me here. Was billed a $160 copay only to be told by the doctor that they don't prescribe opiate/opoid pain medication there, and they could maybe evaluate me to see if my condition was appropriate for Gabapentin. According to her, it's the only thing she can prescribe! Complete referral disconnect, organization name is misleading, no treatment rendered, but they still received my HSA payment. My only options now are supplements and OTC meds - not that they care.

They told her they were so excited for her and confident this this was gonna help and most people find relief the same day others will take a week, but it'll make a drastic difference. My mom lives alone and She had the procedure on a Thursday and it was recommended that I stay with her for the next 24+ hours after the surgery which I did and thank God I did cuz the next (Friday) barely 18 hours after the surgery her legs felt like wet noodles and she fell twice that same day . The second time we had to call ambulance and she went to ER cause she couldn't walk. I left endless messages with the messaging service. And nobody ever called us back. Later found out the clinic is only open till noon on Fridays I mean, why would you perform surgery on the person knowing the next day you're not gonna be available in case something happens Then on Saturday, one of the medical assistance called like he said he would the day of the procedure , to follow up on mom and I told him what happened, but he had no answers for me. I was hoping he'd pass this information along to Dr. Phillips who would in turn call me , especially since my mom ended up in the ER but that never happened After they released my mom from the ER, they had to put her somewhere because she was in no condition to go home so she had to go to skilled rehab Finally on Monday evening, Dr. Phillips called me told me he just found out that day and said It must've been a muscle spasm. So after the surgery on my moms first follow up appointment, she was hoping to talk to Dr. Phillips about what happened once again he was not available. She had to talk to the nurse practitioner Well, it has been three week since my mom's surgery and the promises of oh yes you're gonna feel so much better. We're very hopeful. is gonna work and she's worse than before she went in. Her legs are still very weak. She still has pain so here it is June 29 and I'm trying to get an appointment to find out why what we can do about it but guess. Nothing on schedule until July 30 she's gotta wait another entire month of pain and suffering. What a disappointment to first of all give her false hope by saying how confident they are that shes gonna feel so much better and then end up with complications afterwards and then almost a month still feel the same if not worse and nobody over there cares. Still can't believe the surgeon never called her to follow up on her and even knowing she had these complication afterwards didn't even bother to show up at her 1st Follow up appointment but had his nurse regurgitate whatever it was what to say to my mom

I opted to not be sedated but once I was halfway through the procedure I felt nauseous and made the comment..."I think I should have been sedated." He said well I could have given you a Valium. That was never mentioned before. And after I got home I was in sever pain, and my foot was numb. So I called t he office. 3 hours later the doctor called and told me that it was normal and temporary and acted irritated that I dare bother him with such trivial matters. And to call him the following day. This guy has zero communication skills, the bed side manner of Atilla the hun, and no compassion at all. I have already made an appointment with another doctor. Wish I could get my $500.00 back. The procedure not only failed but it made the pain worse. Thanks for nothing DOC

I had the opportunity to have him do a nerve block on me in 2011 and found him to have a wonderful manner. But, make sure if you are looking for Dr. Manees you realize that he is no longer with the practice. After being a patient since 2009, I left CTPI and went to another Pain Management Practice. I also have been to their associated Surgicenter, my Pain Mgmt Dr has performed two Nerve Blocks on me and I have had GREAT relief. I have found the staff at their Surgicenter to be efficient, wonderful, and just very perfect when you are in pain. Also, their billing is integrated with the Doctor (you can go somewhere else) but I have not had any billing issues, where I had significant billing issues with the Pain Relieft SurgiCenter. I wish I could still give this place multiple stars, but after going elsewhere and having my care integrated with a management plan well looked after--no frustrations where I'm worrying about are they just trying to get the "track" that will give them more money--I cannot give the Pain Relief SurgiCenter anything. I wish I didn't have to give them a star at all. Find another doctor. The staff is nice but you can find better.

I came to her after a car accident and a disappointing experience with another neurologist who dismissed my symptoms as anxiety and refused to order imaging. Dr. Wingrove did thorough in-office testing, saw red flags for spinal cord damage, and ordered the imaging that confirmed severe compression in my cervical spine. Her care quite literally changed the course of my health. I needed surgery, and without her, the condition would have gone undiagnosed and worsened. She's also responsive via the patient portal and open-minded to different treatment options.
