Absolute Bait-and-Switch. Unethical and Dishonest Practices…read more After 30 years of booking hundreds of executive and personal car services worldwide, I have never encountered an operation as unprofessional or unethical as United Car Service of Jackson Hole. For our family vacation departure on Monday, we booked an 8:15 AM ride to the airport. When making the reservation, I specifically verified their 24-hour cancellation policy--a terms-of-service clause explicitly confirmed verbally and printed directly on the digital Square payment link they sent me. Due to a schedule change, I called to cancel on Saturday evening--well over 36 hours in advance of our scheduled pickup. Instead of processing the cancellation, the representative hostilely informed me that they have a "48-hour policy" and would be keeping 50% of the fare. Even after I sent him a screenshot of their own live payment link explicitly stating a 24-hour policy, he flatly refused to honor his own company's written terms. Realizing I was dealing with a bad-faith operator, I ended the call and immediately turned the charge over to American Express Platinum customer service to dispute. Jackson Hole has limited transport options, but do yourself a favor and look elsewhere. A business that blatantly lies about its own written policies cannot be trusted with your logistics.

The water is so clear. An incredible day with a high 70's and a mild cool breeze, made it a perfect day. You could see pockets of snow in the mountain valleys and an incredibly clear day. The leaves are turning and the yellows and reds are exploding. We spotted deer, bald eagles, hawks and martins. It was a spectacular weekend in Grand Teton National Park and the fall colors only added to the beauty. If you have a chance, get to the Grand Tetons for a glance at Roosevelt's dream of the beauty of the USA.

Jenny Lake boating, Colter Bay Village visitor's center, and Jackson Lake Lodge were all closed. The latter two even had all the restrooms boarded up! Bummer, especially since the weather was still super nice, sunny and 75°. Some of our favorite stops were Mormon Row, Cunningham Cabin Historic Site, Signal Mountain Summit, and Jenny Lake. The 42-mile Scenic Loop is a must and covers most of the park. There are many turnout and overlooks along the way with gorgeous views. My favorite visitor's center was the Craig Thomas Discovery and Visitor Center. It had everything...a museum with exhibits, gift shop, large restrooms, ranger information desk, and a big lobby area for sitting and enjoying the mountain range view through large windows. Overall, we thoroughly enjoyed our time at this national park. We would highly recommend!

Bedrooms are equipped with huge TV and fireplaces of their own, and the whole property is an emaculate Eutopia!! We can't wait to have a chance to come back and do it again! Mike took our family (and tolerated our family) on a route only time would demonstrate - we went straight to deer viewing, straight to bear viewing (including, yes, a grizzly), straight to the buffalo, and learned an encyclopedia's worth in one day. He offered every bathroom and amenity stop, and made us feel comfortable in our vehicle. If you want to truly see Yellowstone, as only an expert can show it, then get up as early as you can and do the full day! You won't regret it.

Coming from Hawaii, it is cold for us at its summer nights when the temperature gets into the 50's. But heater is available in the room. The surround forest is beautiful and tranquil. On our daily short walks to the dining room, we were awarded with the fragrant fresh pine tree forest smell, the beautiful view of the Grand Teton Mountain range, and a well designed delicious 5-course meal. The booking includes free breakfast and free dinner. It also includes horse riding around the Jenny lake, free use of the well maintained beach cruisers. The cabin we are in has a wall that is shared by a neighbor. But there are more expensive individuel cabins that are not shared. The location is ideal as it is a short bike ride to the Jenny Lake Visiter Center, it also offers the best wide and well maintained bike route, separate from cars. It is also close the famous hike to Inspiration Point and many more trails. In the end, this was the highlight of our trip. Very expensive, but it you can afford it, go for it!
