Today and every six weeks, I go there for pet food. They carry Science Diet and in the dry and canned formula that I need. The employees there are extremely friendly and helpful. Employees like Ruby and Domenica are cordial and attentive. Pets are welcome there and it was a treat to take our dog, Olive, there for a food purchase. The prices for most items are competitive with big box stores-- items like PVC pipe, wood filler, and hardware are cheaper at Altadena Hardware in a side-by-side comparison to big box stores. If you purchase materials like wood or pipe, they can cut it for you for transport! The selection of paint, hardware, garden supplies, light bulbs, power tools, adhesives, and most other typical household hardware needs are excellent. Based on size, they don't stock as much lumber or appliances as big box stores. Very helpful -- they do cartridge exchange for Soda Stream!! And have many options of Soda Stream flavorings.
