    Air Tech and Ben were terrific to work with! I called them and Ben showed up within 2 hours to look at our unit that was making noise in one of the bedrooms. He was very knowledgeable and found the problem quickly. It was a simple fix by cleaning out the filters on the units. I would highly recommend his services to anyone! Thanks again Air Tech!

    Not exactly an easy walk through the park!

    This is an interesting one. I reached out to 15 HVAC/AC contractors, via text, sourced from Yelp. Usually I use Google but there seems to be a lot more transparent experiences with this industry through Yelp. Out of those 15 Contractors, not one responded to text, literally not one. I was baffled. Coming from a small business owners back round, I would think at least a response would be the standard, let alone it being the dead of winter and it literally snowed in the desert yesterday so this isn't exactly busy season. For those who don't know there is a "request a quote" option on most business pages for service based businesses. So I gave this route a shot. When you do this there is an option to send the same request to multiple companies so you are able to get bids on what it is you need. Funny enough, unlike text, if you don't respond in a timely manner to a Yelp users request it directly reflects on the response time and percentage of customers the company actually responds to. This is Yelps way of holding business owners accountable. I get multiple companies on the horn, listen to their pitch, and can't believe the rates they're charging basically for labor. If you take the time to break it down it's baffling. I have Plastic Surgeons in the family that don't make this hourly rate. That being said I finally got a hold of Ben who was the last company that was sent a quote request. Ben was the only Owner that got back to me in less than 5 minutes. Which isn't expected, but very nice. He was open to see me on the spot but I had other obligations. We set an appointment and he was right on time. He walk me through every aspect of the job. Explained everything in a clear and easy manner to understand. The differences between r22 and 410a, Ser ratings, all the good stuff. Wasn't pushy, didn't force recommendations, it was just easy in an industry that's full of hustlers who try to squeeze you for max value. Ben worked with me on amazing pricing, installed the unit the next day, no issues, no hassle, and had a crane the size of a building come out to drop in the unit for no extra charge. You can't ask for more. When your unit goes out, give this man a call, he will not disappoint!

Both can turn into expensive issues very quickly. During our inspection, Arturo with NRS noticed some corrosion and possible past leak at our water heater connections. Chances are these connections are original to our 2004 condo and since we have neighbors downstairs, we want to avoid any leaks that could result in issues that could affect both units. The NRS Team presented us with an estimate that we were pleased with and we scheduled Arturo for today. Arturo called ahead when he was enroute (we appreciate that) and was onsite in no time. Arturo took the time to explain what he would be doing to eliminate a possible issue and make our system more secure. Changing out the old hoses (over 20 years old) and connections to solid copper piping and new connections gives us the peace of mind that you need with plumbing. He also configured it so should we need to replace the hot water heater, the new copper fittings will be easy to disconnect & reconnect. Arturo did an amazing job, kept us informed as he worked and the work area was spotless when he was finished. A true gentleman & professional. Many THANKS to Arturo and the NRS Team for spotting a potential plumbing issue and providing a great solution. That's what every homeowner expects. He did advise me that an Anode Rod needed replacing. Although the home warranty replaced the water heater last year and wrote on it to replace every 2-3 years, Tim said after one year, it looks like it might be failing. After thinking about it and working with my water osmosis filter company and them having to replace my water softener, they also confirm replacing the anode rod is probably the best thing for me, so now I will look into this company replacing the anode rod as suggested. During that time, I have repeatedly been given inaccurate information regarding service recommendations and repairs that later appeared unnecessary. Today's service appointment was the most concerning example. I maintain a paid annual club membership that includes maintenance for both my tankless water heater and HVAC system. The technician arrived nearly two hours late and appeared exhausted. Most troubling, the scheduled tankless water heater flush -- the primary purpose of the visit -- was never performed. Instead, the technician took photographs and left without completing the service. Two days prior to this appointment I seriously considered canceling my membership due to ongoing concerns with the company's declining service standards. Unfortunately, I decided to give Legacy one final opportunity and renewed the membership. The outcome of today's appointment unfortunately confirmed my concerns. As a result, I will now be pursuing a chargeback for services that were paid for but not delivered. This level of service is unacceptable. After five years as a loyal customer, I expected professional conduct, timely service, and completion of the work that was scheduled. What occurred instead reflects a troubling lack of accountability and respect for long-standing customers.
