As Murphy's Law would have it, my air conditioning unit konked during the hottest days thus far this season. I got busy calling multiple companies for an estimate. Based on a friends recommendation, I contacted Air Pyramid. The owner himself came out the very next day. He confirmed that the system needed replacement ‍. He was patient, informative and most importantly ON TIME! He provided options and comparisons on the different systems available, to include pricing and his strongest recommendation. Once I decided to work with Pyramid, I called him with my unit selection and a deposit. We agreed that he'd come out and install the outside unit and then the inside portion on the following day when i could take leave to be home. Get this..when I called the morning of the outside install to confirm his arrival time, he informed me that he'd already completed the install. it was 9am! The inside install was in my attic crawl space . It was 95 degrees outside and no air in my house. Mr. Cartledge went to work. My unit was 26 years old and the last install provided some unexpected removal challenges. He didn't charge me anything additional and maintained his same pleasant and professional stance the entire time sweat poured from his face. I could barely stay in the house, and can't imagine getting in that work space. To say that I recommend this company is an understatement!!! I'd invest my hard earned money if I could. Negative 10 stars! Avoid them at all cost!!! This is a SCAM of a company. You are better of throwing your money away. Paid in full and was promised a 90 day warranty. Without full diagnostics, concluded it was the refrigerant. Offering a temporary fix. Getting him to come back under the warranty is like pulling teeth. Very unprofessional in the way he conducts himself and speaks to clients once he has received his money!!! Incompetent and a scam!!! Did not care that we had toddlers in the house in the heat. i'm a repeat customer. i've used air pyramid to repair and maintain my heating and air conditioning units at two different properties since 2017. their customer service is superb and they respond quickly - my mom's heat went out and they sent someone the same day. my daughter's ac went out and the tech had it repaired and running within a couple of hours. i continue to use them for heating/ac annual tune ups and duct cleanings. the techs are always polite, organized, and clean up after themselves. i highly recommend this company. read more

The worst service ever. They installed a brand new AC unit in my condo, severely overcharged me for it and it has been malfunctioning ever since it has been installed. The freon keeps leaking and I had to call them several times in the past two months. Would not recommend to my worst enemy. Although they appear friendly, I didn't pay for friendly people , but rather for a brand new AC unit that should work well if properly installed. However, since the installation was sloppy and so were the following repairs, it doesn't work. I am having to endure 90F weather until their sloppy workers can fix it and even after that I have no guarantee that it will work. I intend to call another company to repair it and I am going to send them the bill. This is a waste of my time and my money. I am surprised they still have a license. read more

In late summer 2010, this company installed an entire heat pump system in my home, including a 5 year Labor included warranty for the 10yr manufacturer's warranty on compressor and parts. We paid the bill in cash. When winter came, we noticed the heat pump air did not produce heat. We called the installer and he came out. He couldn't find the problem but confirmed there was a Freon leak. For the next year, we had to call about every 2 months because the air wouldn't heat or cool like it should. Out of frustration, the next time it happened, we called another company that discovered a pipe was not properly sealed during installation. I told the installer and he offered to refund the service fee we paid for the inconvenience because he said he should have found the problem. After waiting 2 weeks and no refund check came, I called the installer. I was shocked to hear his change of heart. He said we didn't provide him the opportunity to fix the problem first so he changed his mind. We insisted he should be a man of his Word but he didn't send the check. Winter of 2012, we called him for service. First, he insisted the labor warranty had run out, then when he realized it hadn't, he wanted us to promise to not call on another service provider. He even said I am not his wife so he doesn't have to listen to me and kept threatening to hang up on me. He spoke very disrespectfully and was condescending. Because a snow storm was approaching, he said we should be fine for the night with the space heater we have and he will call us after the storm. He never called. We wanted to make Yelp members aware of this installer and the type of attitude and service you may receive. read more
