We were quoted, by another contractor, over $6K for a new air conditioning unit as the only option to fix our a/c. We called Air Comfort Solutions for a second opinion and over the phone were told to try changing our filters first before spending any money. It worked! Our air conditioner never worked better and it only costs us $20 for two filters. He didn't even try to come out and charge a service fee just to tell us it was a filter either. The compressor for our upstairs A/C unit was not powering on. Bryan, with ACS, quickly identified that we had a wire that had somehow become disconnected and after running some diagnostic checks suggested that we replace our capacitor. He promptly made the necessary repairs and our upstairs is now a comfortable temperature. We have had ACS service our units annually for a few years now and find them to be timely, responsive, and professional. They never try to upsell or recommend unneeded repairs. They give tips on things to check (flipped breaker, etc) before they come out just to make sure it's not an easy fix so that we cancel the visit and not be out a trip charge in the event it's something simple. read more

Turned my a/c on for the first time on 4/7/2016 in the evening and although the unit outside was running, no air was circulating inside the house. Called ACS and within 30-45 minutes, Tim arrived. Since I have a YORK unit, and my blower motor was out, it needed a part specific motor because of the way YORK units are installed in newer homes. Tim got the part and was out the very next day to install. Tim was super professional, set up the part so that in the future, I will not need a part specific motor and can get one faster than a one day turn around.
