During the winter months, our furnace decided to stop working and needed replacement. We received around 4 estimates, but Ralph provided us with the best quote and time frame of completion. Owner: 5/5 Ralph Ayers is very personable, respectful, professional, and knowledgeable. He made the effort to inspect our house when given short notice during the Thanksgiving season, and we really appreciated that. He sat down at our dining table and went over all of the details with a written work order. He estimated the time of completion would take about 9 hours within the same day. Fortunately for us, the crew arrived with a few extra hands and completed it within half the time. We were also pleased to hear that our thermostat would be upgraded to the top of the line Nest Pro, which has been working out great for us. Installation Crew: 4.5/5 The installation crew arrived on time at 8AM with four members. All of them were very friendly and fairly clean when they did their job. A portion of the job required the removal of asbestos and we were a bit surprised they didn't wear face masks. When the job was almost complete, they asked if we had a vacuum because they forgot to bring theirs. We recently got a new vacuum and didn't want ours to get dirty, so they took our small vacuum and dumped the dust and debris into my small bedroom trash can. We also noticed they had installed the furnace filter upside down. Other than those two issues, they met our expectations and installed it within the given timeframe. read more

Air Care really does care and came to my rescue! I recently purchased a Nest, watched the online tutorial video, and thought it would be a super simple install and one I could do myself. Boy was I wrong, it wasn't. I ended up short circuiting the heating system, which somehow turned on the fan and it was just pushing out cold air during a cold snap we were experiencing in LA. I couldn't even turn on the old thermostat to turn off the fan because of whatever I did. I frantically start calling air and heating companies the next morning at 7am. Air CareSaver was not only the first ones to reply, but also were the first to assure me that they could take care of the problem and be there as soon as possible. Their worker comes in, wearing booties the entire time, talks to me and shows me what I did, and after about an hour he switches out a new fuse that I blew in the heater and installs the Nest for me. We had repeated problems with our old HVAC unit that other HVAC companies failed to diagnose or repair, leading to water damage being done to our ceiling from the attic units. Air CareSaver diagnosed the problem correctly on first inspection and offered intelligent repairs. Their techs (Joshua and Joseph, I believe) are extremely knowledgeable and professional. Really impressive. Due to the age of our old system we decided to purchase two completely new systems. The owner offered to expedite the job and meet with me on a Saturday. Ralph, he is a great guy, experienced, kind, courteous, professional and no hard sales! He patiently took us through the many options available and gave us a great deal. Plus no nickel-and-diming nonsense. Their installation team was stellar. They don't cut corners, and the owner makes sure of it. It was easy to tell the difference, going from the corner-cutting of our previous HVAC to a new installation where everything was done correctly and by the book. From reinforcing the support structures to putting a drain pan in with a auto-shutoff switch, everything was installed properly. If only our previous HVAC had been installed that way, it might have prevented the water damage that led to a two-month long mitigation and restoration fiasco.
