How this company isn't rated higher is beyond me. I requested 2 brand new units and to hang my unit in the garage instead of taking up my wall. The prices are great the product has my house cool and they were fast. The quality of work is just fine I see no reason to complain. Bought a new air conditioner from this company. After the install, the air was not generating properly and our home was still very hot. I called them several times and they would not do anything to improve the airflow. I asked them if we needed our duck system updated and they said it was in fine condition. Called another service to inspect it and found out that the duct system was in dire need of replacement plus one of the returns had totally collapsed. I had another company replace the duct system, but still had to call Air & Heat for the yearly inspection, which I paid for in advance. The motor in this unit has been replaced four times so far! The last time Air & Heat were out to service the unit, whatever they did resulted in no air coming out of the vents in the bedroom. I told them since I am a disabled senior and just had surgery, they needed to get the air conditioning back working in the bedroom, before they left, since they are the ones that damaged it. The owner called me and started yelling at me saying that I had no right to make his repair man stay there. I explained to him that he broke it and he needed to fix it before he left... I was not holding him hostage. The owner told me that he would come back the next day and have everything fixed appropriately. When no one showed up from the company the next day, I called them and the owner told me that they had no intentions of coming out ever again. This company is a sham and I highly recommend that no one use their service. They are the poster child of dishonesty and unprofessionalismIn. RESPONSE TO OWNER: Your statements are incorrect. You cannot deflect from the facts that's your company told me lies from the beginning, including the last time you were out here. My home was not cooling properly after purchasing your air conditioning unit. Your company supposedly inspected the duct system before the unit was installed and after when I was having issues. If you would've actually inspected the duct work, you would have found that it was dilapidated and that one of the returns was collapsed. This is why The air never had proper flow until I had it replaced. Your company would not replace the duct system or even recognize that it needed replacement. The owners son Daniel Jr came out in late summer to evaluate why I wasn't getting proper airflow out of my floor registers and issues with the thermostat and humidistat. He went under the mobile home and observed that the supply and return flex lines were crossed over each other, restricting the air flow, and that a floor joist was also restricting the supply airflow. Based on his recommendation I hired them to completely change the return and supply flex lines. That did improve the airflow into the floor registers. It was later observed by another contractor that the new flex supply line installed by Daniel was again being pushed in somewhat by the existing floor joists . I told this to Daniel and he replied that it is not an issue since the flex tubing has two to three inches of insulation on the inside and that air flow is not being restricted. I felt that he was aware of this same exact situation initially, which he said he corrected, and this should not have happened again. It was a matter of not digging a deeper trench under the flex line. He did tell me that his men were working under the mobile home longer than expected and for whatever reason told them to come out. This may or may not have contributed to the flex line trench not being deep enough. I did continue to have issues regarding thermostat and humidistat communication issues. I told him that a new thermostat was replaced by a previous HVAC contractor in June of this past year and it was 2° off. Daniel recommended that we change it. I did do that yet later discovered that the new one ($189) they installed was also approximately 2° off. A new thermostat was not the answer. The ac set at 80 would not come on unless the humidistat was set to 40. The generally accepted humidistat setting is 50-55 when leaving for the summer months in Fl. He said that unless the humidity exceeds the level set on the humidistat the ac won't come on despite the room temperature being in the low 90's.I know of no other neighbor homes that reach the mid 90° temperature range when their thermostat is set to 80° and the humidistat is set to 50%. It was very frustrating to me and to him that the thermostat and humidistat issue was not resolved. Daniel said to me "you are not from around here" which I felt was his way of telling me that I do not understand how Fl humidistats and ac systems work..I did , but I just wanted the two to be accurate and work. Daniel did talk to me several times over the phone re these issues but to no resolve. Fast forward 5 months and I returned to my Fl.mobile home. I called Daniels office and left a message to please call me. No reply. Several days latter I called the office again and spoke to their staff saying that I would like to meet with him at my mobile home. I said that both Daniel and I are frustrated at the situation regarding the temperatures and thermostats but that I would like to meet with him at my mobile home. Again no reply. Several days later I sent a text directly to Daniel again asking to meet and to possibly do some additional work. Again no reply. I was throughly disappointed that Daniel would not return my calls. That and not being able to resolve my temperature/thermostat/ humidistat issue, or new supply flex line matter is why I gave them a 1 star rating and would not recommend them. I scheduled an appointment for a New Construction installation. Daniel came and we went through all of the available options for my project. He was very nice, knowledgeable and eager to give me a quote by Monday...I mean this was $20k-30k job. I hadn't heard from him on Monday, so I texted him on Tuesday asking if there was anything on the quote. He told me that was sorry, but they were too busy for new construction. I told him I had time to wait (the house is still under construction) and he then said that the 'Boss' does not want to get involved with it. I only gave Air and Heat Inc in Bradenton, Florida a 1 because 0 wasn't an option! They came out and looked at my HVAC unit and gave me a quote. I scheduled a day for install and told them that I would be flying from Ohio to Florida to oversee the job. When they arrived they told me that I would have to remove a palm tree. When I started to cut it down they stopped me and said the owner of the company was on his way to look at the job. With the tree removed it would be completely unobstructed access to AC unit. The owner told me that they don't have the equipment to do the job! I asked if anyone rents equipment to do this and he said "no" I would strongly advise anyone to NOT do business with this company!! read more

I got a system when we moved into out MH 2yrs ago. The service was done, quickly, efficiently and without a hitch, they came when they said they would. Had everything needed for the job, it included the ductwork and all new parts. Daniel Sr and Jr worked well together in this family business. It's obvious that they set their standards high, which in turn keep problems to a minimum. The AC came with a 10yr warranty that didn't include the parts, after 1 yr, just the service. I'm selling my home so I didn't Want to spend the extra because I wouldn't be here long. I just had my AC serviced for the 2 yr check. Everything looked good, and I just had to pay a service call fee. On Wednesday the AC stopped working and I called AIR HEAT and he came out same day, even tho he had a full day. The Module went out and had to be ordered because there weren't any in the warehouse, and today They called to say he'll be here to install in the next 2 hrs. He knew we were upset because there shouldn't be problems with a unit only 2 yrs old! Crooked... Do not use this company! They sold me a whole entire new unit bc they said I needed one. After they installed the brand new unit it still did not work. The next day their technician came and informed me the line was clogged. There was nothing wrong with my old unit and they sold me a new unit anyway. I was new to the mobile park area i purchased a home in and always invested in spring and fall maintenance. I saw an Air and Heat truck in the area and asked them to inspect and perform maintenance on my new unit. I later invested in several units, as I did up north, and our project manager used a different company for replacing an AC unit on one of the rehab properties. After noticing more humidity than normal in the property, I called the company who installed to take another look and they indicated all was well. Since humidity problem continued I remembered Daniel and gave him a call. He checked the duck work, unit and controls. He researched the square footage and unit model and determined it was undersized. i contacted the original installer and thankfully they stood behind their product and replaced the unit. When we bought our condo in Ironwood January 2020, we were sure the furnace and air conditioning units were shot, since absolutely nothing else had been updated. We set up appointments with four different companies to give us estimates for new units. Daniel at Air & Heat couldn't meet at the designated time and asked to come early. After he checked the furnace and tested the AC unit on the roof and measured the cold air being pumped into the room, he informed me that the systems were both working well. Then he showed me the manufacturer sticker - the units were dated 2014!!!! I thanked him for his honesty and asked him to put stickers on the units so I'd be sure to call them next time I needed service. He left and never charged me a dime! I highly recommend this company, because Daniel was not only nice, but informative, and I know one of the other contractors would have been happy to sell me something I didn't need, because I didn't know any better. read more

His salesmanship seemed concerned with the seven year old unit and offered to begin the process of a brand new comfort maker unit. After he left I decided to use a can of coil cleaner to clean the built up dryer lint from the back side of the unit. The unit can now breathe better. read more

I wanted to alert potential customers about the risk in doing business with this company. I had a neighbor that used them and was happy would the job. Their new a/c unit was on the ground. I had a friend that got a high estimate from another company and so suggested she give Air & Heat a call. Their estimate was lower and my friend went with them. The new unit was mounted on the garage ceiling. Their work failed the county inspection for improper installation. They came back and fixed this aspect, however, within 30 days the supports holding the furnace filter were seen as start to hang. My friend called Air & Heat to set up an appointment. Since had returned to her Midwest home, she had a friend come over to her FL house to let the technician in. The person did not show and my friend tried to reschedule but they would not return her call. I then called and left a nice voicemail directly on the phone of a family member of the company. I also called the office number and explained the situation and just wanted to get what my friend had paid for. Never hearing from anyone again at Air & Heat my friend contracted with another outfit to complete all work properly. That was a $1,500 bill. The folks there were friendly up until a problem occurred and then then did little to ensure a quality job was completed. I would recommend you be very careful if you have thoughts about doing business with them. Hold back me bye until the county gives a clean bill of health to the job. read more

We are rehabbing an older home that has never had central A/C. House is built up off the ground so we were hoping to run everything underneath the house. Air & Heat came over saw the situation, and gave me an excellent price for installation of all duct work and a package unit. When the fellows came out to do the installation, they showed up promptly and immediately started to work. They had everything they needed to complete the job, so no multiple trips and multiple days on site. I was told that it would probably take a day and a half (which I thought was quick). They were finished by 5pm on the same day ! A/C unit works great, quiet as can be, all of the ductwork is exactly where I needed it to be, and jobsite was completely cleaned up.
