Omg I've fallen in love with this place and I'm so excited cause it's so close where I live . I'll be coming here a lot to try out everything on the menu lol. I hope they don't mind my husband and I cause they will be seeing a lot of us coming around. The staff is really sweet, they give off a real home feeling to me. The waitress we has was very accommodating to my husband and I and very sweet as well. The whole staff just about came over to talk for a little and it was really nice getting to meet everyone. Now for the food, it was off the charts good. I'm always a sucker for quiche. I really enjoyed looking at all of the different things to choose from on the menu. The quality of the food is amazing. I stopped in on St. Patrick's day on my way to Emory. I got the quiche and then a slice of the blue ribbon buttermilk pie. Whoever made these is gifted! I also heard that the breakfast tacos have been popular as well, I believe it! I live in Dallas but may have to drive out to Quinlan again just for pie. read more

Cute little place located on a corner lot on the square in Quinlan. Our server was so sweet, and clearly they care about their guests, as they seemed to know everyone who was visiting. I got the spinach salad with the chicken salad. It was delicious. I will probably get the chicken salad on the side next time, but for only a dollar I was shocked by the amount!! Went for lunch based on recommendations from friends. An hour after we walked in we still had no food even though others who came after us did. All we ordered were sandwiches because we wanted to try pie. Nothing had to be cooked. When I mentioned that we had an appointment to go to in 20 minutes nothing happened. We never even got offered drink refills. Finally asked to get our orders to go. No plastic ware or drinks were included & my friend's order was wrong. Obviously we never got to try Pie. We will not be back. On a positive note, my sandwich was good as was the fruit medley that I ordered with it. People just don't have hours to spend having lunch. We were told, by the waitress, as we left 80 minutes after we arrived, we needed to be more patient. No, you need more help. read more

Friday 4/12/2020 We had never ate here before and I really did not want pizza. So I placed a order for pot pies, beef stroganoff, meatloaf, and broccoli chicken and rice. The lady on the phone told me how great their food was and was really excited to try it cause the pictures all make it look good. Well It was a huge disappointment. My daughter and I tried a few bites of everything on our plate and then put it away. It was horrible!! Super bland, even when I added salt and pepper I could not make it eatable. There was some strange cereal on top of the C,B and R. I do not mind paying for good food, but dang this is $40, that will literally be fed to my dogs. Never Again. I will say the ladies I met at the restaurant were nice, and really wish I could have left a nice review. Unfortunately, my daughter is having peaches for dinner, and she is usually nuts about meatloaf and mashed potatoes. Monday 4/13/2020 I saved the food so I could take it to the lady and get a refund. She was very rude. Refused to give me a refund and offered me a pie. She was so rude that she hung up on me. I paid $45.22 for terrible food and she told me they needed the money so they would not be refunding me. Very bad business practices. read more

I have fallen in LOVE!! Simple, country, home like little place that has a really good salad bar, homemade soups that change daily, and of course PIE!! VERY REASONABLY PRICED (almost too cheap!). The owner owes me $18 because of poor customer service. i special ordered a pumpkin pie to try this establish for first time. She told me it would be ready on fri jan 12. On Jan 12 by the time i remember it myself it was after 3 pm their closing time. they were closed monday for MLK day so more missed days. i went today to pick it up today and the owner said she trashed it. i informed her i had received no phone calls and she ADMITS she called but didn't leave any messages. It seems she didn't really want to help her customers receive her products -- is that because she had already been paid? i just don't understand how you toss something that's paid for without their permission. I owned that pie. You would think she'd be willing to help her customers get her products but in this cases she's like the soup Nazi on Seinfeld -- or maybe the PIE nazi NO MORE PIE FOR YOU. Well she owes me $18 and obviously i won't be a repeat customer. You've been warned. read more

We purposely went there to try the "award winning" pecan pie - the owner invited us. We ordered, I ordered a slice of lemon pie and he ordered a piece of pecan pie - it is the only pie he eats. She (owner) refused to cut up the last whole pecan pie (they also sell whole pies), she offered two different others and he said no,' all I eat is pecan pie.' We should have walked out then. I had the lemon pie, the filling was okay, but the crust was the worse I've ever had. It was hard (couldn't cut it with a fork) and had no flavor. When confronted about the fact that she would not cut a piece of pie for him - it was his fault because she offered 2 different kinds (I would not have eaten) and it was Friday. Poor customer service - never again. read more
