I went in asking for mushroom blonde and left with horrible grey/green/blonde hair. Had to get another salon to fix it because I had a trip the next day. I wish I had complained and had her fix it or had gotten my money back but I will never trust them again. My new stylist confirmed she should have never sent my home like that. read more

I didn't think that spending hours in salon would be my idea of good time, that too on a Friday Night. However, it was great to just sit with a cup of tea from their coffee bar and relax while I was waiting for my appointment. They have a wide range of hair products. Personally, I have not tried their shampoo, but my wife can't seem to stop praising about the Verb Shampoo and conditioner. Lisa is awesome. She has been my hair dresser for almost about a year. They have some sweaters, winter wear, and accessories for sale if you'd like to shop around while you wait. read more

VERY DISAPPOINTED!! I have been getting my hair done at this salon for years! I have never missed an appointment and have always given plenty of notice in the event I had to cancel. A couple of weeks ago, I inadvertently missed a scheduled appointment (never received an email reminder because they had the wrong email address) and they told me I would need to pay the full amount of the appointment $165!!' What a joke!! The owner agreed to drop it to half but, as a loyal client, I feel this is not good enough. I will never go back. The only thing I will miss about this place is Jen!! read more

unlike the other review I had my hair done here and it's amazing!!!! everyone is very friendly and welcoming, Kristin C is my stylist there and she's a genius, she always gets the color and cut exactly how I describe I want it. she's the owner so the rest of the staff is obviously awesome too. don't pay attention to the one star review, definitely go here!!!! update- to rate an entire establishment as one star based on just a nail experience is absurd. I have been coming to this salon for ten years, primarily for cut and color, and most recently for eyebrow micro blading. My stylist Kristin and I have built a rapport over the years. I am not the least bit artistic and rely heavily on her recommendations about color selections, high and low lights, and when / how much hair to cut. I always leave the salon feeling renewed, refreshed, and just better than I entered. I have never once been dissatisfied! There is a wide selection of salon-grade hair products available as well as make up and various accessory items for sale at reasonable prices. Recently I took a leap of faith and got eyebrow micro blading done by Kristin; minimal discomfort resulted in a spectacular result, and I have not had to pencil in my brows since that day- something I had done twice daily since my teens! Oh, the liberation! The salon's COVID precautions are top shelf and I always feel safe and comfortable at this salon. If you're on the fence about trying this salon, my advice is to go for it. Absolutely horrible experience. Went in because they said they take walk-ins. All I needed was a basic haircut. I asked for a few inches off and that is it. Cost 75 f*cking dollars. What a waste of money for a totally mediocre experience. I could have gotten the exact same treatment at a barber shop. As a broke college student, I feel completely taken advantage of by this place. Kristen is my stylist and never have I exited the salon without Hollywood hair and feeling amazing. One of best spray tans I have ever received! After recently relocating to the area, I wanted to go the spray tan route for a wedding I was in but of course, worried over trying a new place. I haven't been for hair but I was in desperate need for a gel manicure and pedicure a few weeks ago and decided to give this place a shot. I had probably the worst experience of my life. My nail tech kept wiping off the gel because the color was too much to layer with the white tip (I had a french manicure), not to mention cutting me and making me bleed several times while cutting my cuticles. Their color selection is limited to say the least so I had to settle for something I wasn't thrilled with. I ended up shelling out $80 and I had to get it redone when I was back in DC because I could peel off the gel the next day and the pedicure was messed up. I was too mortified to mention anything while I was there because I simply did not have any time to fix my problem at the moment but I wish I did. Everyone I showed my nails too gasped when they saw how awful it was. STAY AWAY - you are better off going to one of the cheaper nail salons for better quality and for half the price. *UPDATE* I have been contacted by another person who said they had the same miserable experience as me for nails - I mentioned in my review that I can't speak for the hair so for someone to say not to pay attention to a valid review is absurd - they are for completely different services. That being said if you need a place to go for nails, avoid this place like the plague. read more
