Last August. I had issues with my AC. AHP testing came out and did their HERS Testing. It has been a long process getting the answers I needed after Urban Works failed me in fixing the issue. Alex and Rob sent us videos and product information on how to fix the leaks that were discovered in all the floor registers. Today, Rob and Alex the owners came out and inspected my floor registers and looked at my Unit to make sure there were no leaks. The owners and office staff are amazing. Should you ever need testing done on an AC repair, AHPTesting is your go to company. Very thorough and Customer Service oriented. 10 Stars read more

After having my new AC unit installed, the AC Contractor hired AHP Testing to preform the HERS testing to verify that my original 1978 duct work was still operational. Jessica with AHP phoned me to arrange when would be a good time for me for their tech to arrive. She the followed up with text messages the day before and again about an hour before the tech arrived. Francisco Jamie arrived in a company truck, wearing a company shirt and was polite and professional. He went right to work and verified what type of system we have and the amount of return air the fan coil was drawing. He then covered all the diffusers and pressure tested the duct work... it all passed! I'm happy I didn't have to install new ductwork. Working with AHP Testing was stress free and very pleasant. I would definitely recommend. read more

The technician who worked with us was Francisco. He was extremely professional and responsible, and he spent a lot of time carefully testing and adjusting our equipment. Jessica and Robert were the ones who communicated with me throughout the process, and they were both incredibly friendly and helpful. When you work with their company, you're not just getting a report -- they make sure you have a safe and reliable kitchen! read more

We had a stubborn commercial kitchen hood exhaust. It had not been operated in years, but we needed to earn our operating permit from the County. Robert Bachus, the owner of AHP Testing made time immediately to help us out. We were up against a deadline to open the restaurant, and unfortunately failed our first air balancing test. Robert did not just deliver the bad news and move to his next appointment. Instead he helped us troubleshoot the cause of failure and coordinated closely with the HVAC contractor we were using. Robert led the way to specify and share with the team the exact amperage and CFM levels needed to pass the test. After we hustled to source the items Robert advised us on, he put us back on his already busy testing calendar for the following day. As murphy's law would have it; Robert shows up with all his gear, we turn the exhaust system on and it still was not working properly. Rob made his way to the roof to troubleshoot and even made some adjustments to the fan belt - going way above and beyond! Not 40-minutes later we passed our air balance test! Throughout the process Robert was steadfast, calm, resourceful, collegial, and above all humble when we praised him for all the help he gave to us. AHP Testing receives our full endorsement for quality work and savvy troubleshooting skills. We won't ever use another Testing service other than AHP Testing. We appreciate you, Robert Bachus! read more

Every homeowner should have their HVAC system tested by AHP. I called Robert because we suspected that our home (built in the (70's) was not up to contemporary standards for efficiency and air leakage. His testing equipment confirmed our suspicions and we took remedial action immediately. I even had AHP come back for a re-test to ensure the work accomplished hit the targets set for air leakage by AHP. Robert is an expert in this stuff and I can't recommend AHP enough. If you suspect problems or have an interest in running your HVAC as efficiently as possible, you should give them a call. read more

As a professional HVAC contractor I know that quality companies in the desert are few and far between. I have been working with Robert Bachus, president of AHP testing for many years and he is second to none in his knowledge of air conditioning design, efficiency, and operation. He invests thousands of dollars each year into the highest quality testing equipment. He attends every training class in southern California to better himself, and if that isn't enough he has even attained a teaching certificate in California's BPI program, which emphasizes all areas of performance in residential energy efficiency. He is our preferred vendor for HERS testing, blower door testing, and commercial ventilation certification. For 20 years we have struggled with keeping the air cool enough in our home during the hot summer months. Our utility bill was over $500 each month, while our neighbors was 1/3 of that. We had our heating and air conditioning people out to inspect why our new expensive AC was not keeping up with the heat. NO ONE ever thought to inspect our air intake area, that is until we hired this lovely organization for HELP. First, they showed up in masks, which tells us they are practicing awareness. Second, they are wonderful people with sincere care for taking the best care possible of you the client. Third, they listened and immediately knew the solution. This was such a huge relief after all these years and failed appointments with other AC companies. We are so grateful as the home immediately felt cooler, the AC unit wasn't running continuously as it had to do to barely keep up, the first bill had dropped $200 and that month we had a week of 120 degree weather. I look forward to seeing the total savings after going thru next summer. If you're having any concerns, this is the group to call! They will find the solution guaranteed! We are VERY HAPPY customers! They're saving our AC unit, lowering our utility bills, and keeping our home cooler. Thanks Robert and Alex! read more

I'm so glad we called AHP testing. After we had a new air conditioning unit installed, Robert came out to our place to perform testing on our old duct work and found our duct system was leaking about 20% of air flow. After our air conditioning company fixed/repaired and replaced old duct work, we saw significant savings on our overall electricity bill. Robert's pricing was great compared to other companies that quoted us on title 24 testing. His customer service was great and he really knows local codes. His cleanliness was awesome and that is so important to us, because that shows respect for somebody else's things. I would absolutely recommend AHP testing to my family and friends. Knowing that you can save money on electricity bills by having old duct work tested is something that I can not stress enough. read more

After getting our AC system replaced we made the decision to having it checked by AHP. Come to find out we had duct leakage, and for who knows how long. Without having the system checked by AHP we'ed have never known and continued to loose money by cooling our attic. Thanks Robert for the great service! read more

I'm SO lucky to have found AHP Testing!! Robert was referred to me by my home inspector. I believe firmly that any home buyer should go the extra mile to inspect what they are buying!!! I am a Realtor here in La Quinta, Palm Desert area- and one of the most common things to come up in a General Home Inspection is the AC. Now with Robert in my contacts, my buyers can now get a detailed report on the Air Flow, and most importantly test the DUCTS!! - Which no one really does that!! I thinks its one of the most important test you can do and I will encourage every buyer to find out the specifics on their units. Today Robert came out to a home I have in escrow. The home inspection showed AC is working - but the master bedroom still felt hot. So he came out and check all the numbers and we need to get the room balanced. The Units were also performing very well. It was just a matter of getting the right balance. I will be using Robert from now on. Thank you Robert. read more
