There's nothing short of a wonderful experience at this Ahipoki location. Great customer service who love to help order and consistently create great meals. Their selection is wide and delicious. The toppings (furikake, edamame, etc.) come with the bowls. The ambiance is welcoming and fresh. We usually love coming here! I came here after to work to order a bowl, my husband placed an online order 30 minutes prior to me getting here so I could pick his up when I ordered mine. I had to wait 20 minutes to order because they "ran out of white rice" - I wasn't even ordering with rice. When I said I needed to pick up my husband's order, they said it would be another 15-20 minutes since they were waiting for the rice and got "backed up on orders" - my husband's order also didn't have rice. I got a 3 scoop bowl, which they were SO incredible stingy with portion. Not even full scoops which are already small and for almost $17. And now I will have been here for almost 45 minutes waiting for 2 bowls. Save your time, save your money and go somewhere else. read more

We have been huge fans of Ahipoki bowl since they opened. It's nice that they add delicious new options to the menu to keep you coming back for more of their yummieness! The portions are very fair and nutritious. My personal fav is the 2 scoop with half brown rice and half field greens. Today I got blazing salmon and tuna luau which were exquisite with a multitude of toppings including two toppings I hadn't seen on their menu before; pickled radish and sprouts. Honestly, I avoided coming here because there's something about using another culture's language and misspelling a word in the actual business name. I decided to get past that and give it a try. I walk into a poke choice called Tuna Luau. If you know the language, you have a natural curiosity about what that is. It meant absolutely nothing. Disappointing. There's nothing Hawaiian about this place but yet it uses the language and plays off of island flavors. So...I get past that too because I figure everyone gotta make a buck and cultural appropriation seems to be a thing. I order the half and half and needless to say it just didn't hit the mark. It's too bad because with a little more consultation, studying of poke styles this could be a great business. Went in this evening and brought my wife this time, she wanted to try the new "ahimi", since she's not typically fond of raw meat/fish. Ahimi was a win and definitely gives my wife an option that isn't typically sushi (raw). I do wish these guys would add tofu to their offerings but this is definitely a step in the right direction. To clarify, I love poke/sushi, but my wife and kids don't. That means I'm stuck to either eating it when on lunch or someone getting a meal to go to eat where the rest of the family wants to eat, basically, not convenient. Offering more "not raw fish" options will definitely be helpful. We enjoyed the kalua pork but they no longer offer that here. ok i'm not the one to leave a review but if no one is gonna say it i will ... since it's a health code .... first i appreciate the quality of the food and the service of the staff most the time .... to the younger guy that makes no eye contact today ....if you are gonna use the same gloves you just made my food with and then touch the cash register where cash is exchanged and then go back and make my food with the same set of gloves i think any smart person would say .."hey ...hmm i just touched the register where dirty money is ..maybe i should switch gloves ..."it's common sense and food handling protocol ....i don't care if you don't like your job or you had a shitty day and don't wanna be there don't do it at my expense . please whoever is running this place if your employees are gonna make the masubis have them change gloves if they are gonna make them at the end after they ring you up . probly won't be returning to this location and it sucks be cause till now i haven't had an issue read more

I wish this was a solid place, as its the closest poke place to my house. Alas, it's one of the most mediocre places I have visited. First off, you get an absolutely tiny bowl that is stuffed with rice. This leaves little room for add ons, while appearing to be "overflowing". The kid scooping the proteins actually pressed the scoop against the wall of the containers, in order to make sure the scoop didnt have an extra trace of protein over the "one scoop". I had the tuna; which had zero taste and may have not been the freshest. The spicy salmon was decent and a much better choice. Overall, below average food and service. At Ahipoki, my favorite meal is creating poke bowls that showcase the freshest ingredients and bold flavors of the different seafood ingredients, such as fish, shrimp, lobsters, and octopuses. Sometimes, I have a mixture of two or more ingredients for an amazing meal! The staff are wonderful and friendly. The meal is cooked carefully so you're not eating raw seafood, unless it's the customer's choice. The environment is clean and inviting. Simply stated - this isn't great and it's not bad either. If you're looking for premier Poki - travel to Chandler or Gilbert . The service is average at best. Each time I'm there - I'm not really greeted with anything but a grunt or a how can I help you today - in a tone that's anything but well - monatone. They're not there to make your experience memorable / they're getting through the day eh ? Everything from greeting to out the door - plain/ average - not great , not crappy. The food is the same - acceptable. The selection - from proteins to vegetables is acceptable but not first class. The sauces are good but they're missing a few - and there are not as many as at the first class places. The decor , the cleanliness , all the rest - average . Therefore - this average review. You'll be fine when you leave - you just won't be impressed and your food will be ok - not good, not fantastic - but acceptable. read more

I love Ahi Poke but every time we go to this location, we are just left disappointed. I placed an order on the website where it was scheduled for pick up at 6:55pm. However, it wasn't ready until 7:20pm. There was only one employee working so he focused on fulfilling in person orders and in turn, delayed the orders placed online. Additionally, I ordered a three scoop entree with shrimp, spicy tuna and blazing salmon but it did not come with the shrimp. On the two scoop platter, I paid for extra seaweed and crab salad but didn't receive that either. With the prices of take out and gas, eating here is an occasional thing but it's not even worth it when we don't receive what was ordered. read more

My family has been coming to this little gem for their perfectly portioned Poke bowls during lunch for over 6 months since we discovered and gave it a shot. We've had our fair share of Poke from 1st class restaurants in neighboring cities. Ahipoki does a fine job given the speed, selections/combos & sauces (I get the red tuna with the house extra spicy sauce). Service/staff have always been inviting & they take pride in cleanliness too. Is this the best Tuna Pokè I've ever eaten? No, but it is really good and tasty though for the price.
