Stayed at Ahern hotel for a night so we weren't really able to explore it as much as we wanted to. But from the short visit we had, Ahern was clean, had friendly staff, and good food in the same vicinity! They also had great body wash, shampoo, and conditioner!

Sia is exceptionally amazing. She has checked us in for the last 5-6 years. She has the most beautiful smile that lights up a room. She is respectful, thorough, friendly and professional. Each time we remember her because of her A1 customer service. She is always so helpful and answers all of our questions. I'll have more to say by the end of the week. We're relaxing

Found this place randomly on Hotels.com. Got one night Super Bowl weekend for 90 bucks. Zero resort fees. This is a hotel and convention center. There is no casino here. When I tell you that it was so quiet and didn't reek of smoke I was the happiest girl alive. No loud sounds or screaming kids to be found either. It also comes with free breakfast and it looks like it's a recently renovated spot. I've never heard of it, but I definitely recommend staying here if you want to be close enough to the ship, but still not deal with all the craziness. The area doesn't look the best however they do have around the clock security. Free parking as well! I will definitely be back and let others know about this place. It's right off the strip about two blocks from the stratosphere. $100 incidental fee

I don't usually review hotels as I'm in so many but this one is different . I've been to the strip . Stayed in many of the big name casinos . But I was solo on this trip and it was strictly business . I didn't want to walk through the casino to get to my room . Just wanted something elegant to crash at . This hotel exceeded all expectations It's beautiful inside Couple of restaurants and they have shows too. And old school because they still clean the rooms every day . But all of this for $120 for 2 nights and breakfast included !!! It's hard to believe . It's a solid choice if you are not here to gamble .

This was such a nice hotel to stay at. It was new, classy, and looked beautiful inside! Parking was easy in the attached free parking lot. Our room was spacious and furniture was comfortable. The mini refrigerator ran well and had a freezer compartment. Bathroom was beautiful with a big lit vanity mirror. The only thing we didn't like was the pink tint on the windows didn't allow any natural light color in. We ended up always drawing the curtains and turning the lights on to avoid seeing everything in pink. The shampoos, conditioners, and lotions feel luxurious. The lobby is spacious. There is an Italian restaurant on-site called Ottimo which is where you can get the included free breakfast. At check in, you receive dated breakfast vouchers that can only be used on that day. So if you miss 1 day, you cannot redeem multiple breakfast on a different day. The 4 breakfast options are a variation of $13-$18 items the restaurant serves on the menu and made to order: 1. classic egg, bacon/sausage, with potatoes and toast 2. sourdough waffle with berries and whipped cream 3. avocado toast with egg and salad, 4. oatmeal with raisins and brown sugar They offered complimentary 12pm check out. Would definitely recommend and stay again.

Stayed here with the family and had a good experience. Staff was very friendly and helpful for the most part. Hotel check in is on the second floor. Parking is free. They have a few places in side of here including a coffee place, aroma, that I lived at. Good coffee and pastries, open 6am-8pm. And a restaurant, Ottimo, that had a variety of foods. There is a pizza counter with a small seating area out front and inside is a sit down restaurant. Only complaint was the pool. It's very small, it was sunny and they didn't have any umbrellas up, and the pool is not that big or deep. We got 2 rooms with 2 double beds each. Rooms came with fridge, 2 bottles of complementary water a day. They also had a karaoke place inside and there was a small art gallery inside and antique car display outside. I would definitely stay here again

Here's some of the coffee stains that I was billed $200 because to them it's a biohazard

Beware of booking with Ahern. My friend n I stayed there for 3 nights while in Vegas. Months later I checked my account, the hotel charged my card $200 "damage fee" not once did I get a receipt for this charge or notify of my "damages" I called today to see what's happening. They said I damaged the sheets. My friend spilled coffee on the sheets and I was billed $200 claiming it's biohazard but yet they can provide me with their biohazard policy.

I loved my recent visit to Vegas and stay at the Ahern Hotel. The hotel was super clean, check-in area as easy, the staff was nice. I would def stay here again! We never had trouble getting ride shares from this location and the waiting area was well lit. We also had breakfast and several dinners onsite. Food was very good and THEY SERVED COKE PRODUCTS. I felt safe in this hotel and the hallways and rooms were quiet.

Came to visit during the Christmas season. Never been to this hotel before but it looked good from the review's. Booked online and grabbed a regular king room. Cute lobby- decorated for the holidays- intimate but purposeful. When checking in I asked if any upgrades were available -the lovely lady (Crystal) must have felt sorry for how sick I was and upgraded our room for us. It was a lovely gesture that meant so much since we both were sick. She even offered me different teas for my sore throat. The hotel is a little off the strip nearer to the Strat but was a great choice because it was quiet, smaller, and no casino. Monorail is literally 2 blocks away in the Sahara hotel. Because of the care and amazing service we received from Crystal and her staff- we will definitely stay here again.

Very easily a 5 star hotel. Extremely clean non smoking property. We're so pleased. Wonderful staff. Very accommodating. Delicious breakfasts. Spacious and very clean room. A few steps away from the Sahara which on 110 degree weather is quite daunting. Nevertheless the Sahara offers complimentary parking to non hotel guests. There's also the monorail station for easy access to the rest of the strip. The hotel is also conveniently located next to the Golden Steer restaurant which is a very popular steakhouse. Advance reservations are required. The hotel however offers excellent dining options as well. We tried their pizza by the slice and it was really good. Also our breakfast was super delicious. You can tell they use freshly sourced ingredients. They were very tasty.

I first stayed at the Ahern Hotel a few years ago for EDC because it offered a cheap rate, no-smoking in and out of their property, free parking, and clean and quiet rooms that were close to an EDC shuttle stop. While not very close to much of the "happening spots" on the Strip, it was within reach via car/ride share if needed be. During that first time stay, I didn't have any issues with my stay and actually enjoyed my stay this first time around. Speed forward to this recent Thursday night - I stayed overnight in Vegas with my coworker for a trip to Zion. Most hotels in the area were booked up due to conferences. The Ahern was one of the cheaper hotels in the area, and my room offered complimentary breakfast in the room rate. I thought, great... things are looking good! Well yes, these were good things, but we wound up getting a room with questionable cleanliness. The pillows in our rooms were extremely filthy (they were not changed), as they had long strands of hair in them. They were propped up (as hotels do), and I inspected them, there were all the hairs! The bedsheets looked clean from what I could visually see, but I'm not really sure if they did clean those either if the pillows weren't cleaned, why would the bed sheets be also? I get that in Vegas housekeeping staff have to clean a lot of rooms, and they don't get paid well. And it shows, with the questionable cleanliness of the rooms here. I was hoping for a more positive experience this time around, as I had a few years back. But given the cleanliness issues here, I probably won't be back sadly.

Small menu from the in-house Ottimo restaurant.

I had dental work done at Bionic Smile and this hotel worked with them to give us an excellent rate. I was suprised at how nice this hotel was! The restaurant was amazing and the prices are very affordable. It is a non-gaming hotel, so no casino here, but there are some just a short walk, or ride away. This hotel was very clean and very nice. Way better than I expected it to be. They have a large ball room where there seemed to always be something going on. It eas a nice place to relax after my surgery and just a short walk from Las Vegas Avenue. Uber and Lyft rides are readily available and not expensive to get where you need to go. The last time we stayed in Vegas, we chose a major hotel with a casino. The room was nice, but we got a view of nothing but the loading dock and air conditioner units on the roof. I will definitely choose the Ahern hotel for our next visit. Its nice and quiet, clean, has a courteous staff, and is not far from the strip. Perfect olace to stay if you ask me! Highly recommend it!

This review is for the overall amenities, showrooms and restaurants at the Ahern and not the hotel itself. We have visited many of the restaurants here, attended several events and seen numerous shows at the Ahern, and overall ilwe have had so many great experiences here. The staff is so friendly and professional, overall facility is so elegant and well maintained, selection of events and shows excellent (e.g., Motown Brunch, LOVE Is All You Need, Karaoke Nights with DJ Bella, expos, etc.), great dining (e.g. Joel's Chophouse, Aroma Barista Bar, etc.), reasonable prices, and easy and free parking. We are guessing the hotel is probably just as great although we have never stayed here since we are local. Overall, we always have a great experience here at the Ahern.

No. Pets are not allowed at this hotel.

How far is this from the Freemont strip if you walk? Or is it in the downtown and is the hotel in a safe area?

The Ahern Hotel is a 5 minute walk to the Sahara - which is the beginning / very Noth end of the Strip. You might want to look what the monorail has to offer.

I had read that Nevada residents had free parking. I got my license ready but I was unsure as to where I needed to scan it. Not seeing where, I took a ticket and the gate opened. I thought I'd check inside for information before I left. Parking near the elevators, it turned out not to be the elevators. There was a sign painted South Lobby and a right arrow. After looking for the elevators, I noticed there were some metal doors. The layout has a lobby on each floor behind these metal doors. That's where the elevators were. First impression is negative. I rode down to the lobby. I walked a short distance and saw Vida where I had planned to have breakfast. After breakfast, I followed the sign to the slot club where I thought I'd get the information. I did, but instead of just telling me where to scan the back of the license, I was invited to join the slot club and I'd get free parking. I'd also receive a minimal amount of free play. I signed up and took the card I was given with directions on how to load the free play. I chose a machine, followed the directions on the card, but nothing. I tried again starting from the beginning. Again, nothing. I decided it wasn't worth it and I played for a short time on my money. When I was done, I went back to the South Lobby and went to my floor. Then the "fun" began. I was uanble to leave. One area was blocked. I looked for signs but there weren't any where I was. At one point I went between some barriers. That gave me a short ride around the walls and I was back to where I first started. Eventually, a crew pulled aside one of the barriers and they told me where I needed to go. Finally, I got to the exit gate. I guessed as to where my license should be scanned. The machine wanted the ticket. After inserting it, I scanned my license and the gate went up. I was so pleased to see Elvis Presley Boulevard. In a short time, I was on my way west on Sahara. I was mentally scratching my head. I decided after the free play fiasco and the garage, that my visit to the Fontainebleau was a one and done. This is why locals don't generally go to the Strip. Different parking perks done differently. Why bother?

My first stay was 5-star worthy but this time there were a few things that left me wanting. It started with the front desk lady who was decent but was hurried and not as helpful as I'd like. When I asked where we could leave our luggage she just said valet but didn't tell us precisely where we should go so we walked in circles. She also didn't share where the rooms were but having been there before I was okay there. They do have a pretty slick process where you get a text and it walks you through a lot of the information I thought she might have provided so if she would have even explained that part to me it would have been better. Fortunately our room was ready early so we didn't have to drag our luggage around for hours or until we found someone to hold them for us. The room was in the Spa Tower and was nice. It had a large soaking tub and separate shower as well as his and hers sinks. The bed was comfortable and, although being on the 7th floor wasn't great for the best views, it still was a good vantage point to see the ferris wheel and part of the sphere and the Bellagio fountains. On the downside, the sinks periodically emitted sewage smells. But the worst thing was they started doing some drilling that started at 5:30am on Monday. You read that correct, 5:30am! And it was so loud that when I went down to the 4th and then the 1st floors I could still hear it loud and clear. This was incredibly inconsiderate. When I got to the 1st floor I saw another guest complaining about it too. I get it, renovations have to take place. But at a decent hour! It started with a quick check in with Ezequiel, the concierge, who is literally the saving grace of this review...he needs a raise. The first issue was that if the lights were turned up they would just flicker the entire time..then the shower door making a click-slamming noise every time you opened it beyond half-way making me think it's going to shatter every time I had to use it. Ignoring it we left for the night to play and eat, we came back to this horrible pounding noise, from the pipes in the shower and made the noise as if there were shoes in a washer the entire night.... We called the front desk once we heard it and they sent security to document it. They said there's nothing they could do they're at full capacity and gave us $25/pp in F&B credit...it went on for all 3 nights... The next day we discovered that the bath in the suite (big selling feature) was barely getting luke warm, even afterunning it for a while... The best part was the sewage backup coming from our sinks making our whole room smell unbearable... We went down on morning two to talk to the front desk to see if anything can be done, and they just provided more F&B credit... After having to stay in this room for 3 nights or pay additional to stay elsewhere, we were met with even more nasty attitude from the casino host and the rewards manager.

However, for those of us who come to Vegas often, staying at those hotels often means higher prices and headaches with navigating around the busy traffic. Having stayed at most of the larger hotels (The Luxor, The Bellagio, Encore at Wynn, Park MGM etc) I've had my fill of the dazzling lights and boisterous crowds. I do recommend you try these hotels at least a few times to truly soak in the bustle of Las Vegas night life. For me, I prefer to stay adjacent to, but not within, The Strip. This way, I can have some comfort in a quieter setting and can call an uber at any moment to meet friends along The Strip. This was the reason I chose Nirvana Hotel. Situated right next to The Luxor and The Mandalay Bay, it is both affordable and close to the attractions I come to Vegas for. The exterior is a bit off-putting at first. You aren't greeted with the pristine fountained welcome that you expect from Vegas--the wonderful precession of marble floors, the lush green plants, the ornate chandeliers. The main check-in station is inside the souvenir shop which resembles that of a run down gas station. Service is quick and the check-in process is painless. Their doors all use numbers so you don't have to worry about misplacing your card. Just don't get so drunk you forget! The room itself is very humble: queen bed, LG tv, two night stands, a small fridge, and a walk-in shower. Clean, organized, and arranged professionally. I will definitely stay here again. Connie was at the reception and welcomed me warmly. Parking is free. That's right. FREE. For your entire duration of stay.

This will look like to most a motel with a drive up to your room and an upstairs set of rooms. No pool . You are with in walking distance of the Four Seasons The Luxor and Mandalay Bay etc This is on Las Vegas South You can buy breakfast on site. Free coffee up in the front office with package cookies They have a mini fridge in the room. I was gone early in the morning and was back late The minus was street noise from construction and I was there on trash day so the trash truck backing up at 5:50 Am was an early morning wake up call ( I needed to be up at that time anyways) No house keeping while for my two day stay I would be happy to stay here again
