Staycations are a nice way to relax and unwind without having to travel far from home. With a myriad of resorts and hotels in Las Vegas one's options are limitless. I decided to stay a couple days at the M Resort Hotel. The hotel is beautifully designed and now has a second tower, which sits along side the other. My room was large, overlooked the pool and had a view of the hotels on the strip. The spacious gaming floor has numerous slot machines, which are strategically placed throughout allowing for a smooth walkable flow. The fitness center has numerous workout equipment and offers towels and bottled water to guests. The hotel does offer a gym membership to Non-guests for a monthly fee. Anthony's restaurant located on the second level has a classy yet elegant vibe. I ordered the chilean Seabass with creamed spinach. The fish was excellent. However, the spinach did lack flavor. My server Alex did a great job and was very attentive throughout my entire meal. Great spot for a staycation. read more

Spent four nights at this Resort and loved almost everything about it. Favorite thing by far was the most amazing room service we've ever experienced anywhere. Every time! I have never wanted to hang out in my room so much LOL. Room service food and service were just outstanding and super friendly!!! Loved our 2nd floor room in the new tower. Very convenient. Shower awesome, bed comfortable, refrigerator came in very handy. Clean. Super nice. Loved that the toilet was in a separate room from the rest of the bathroom. Also loved the Casino, and I haven't said that in a long time anywhere! Note: I didn't do the machines, just Blackjack, but it was the most enjoyable Blackjack I've experienced in so long. Zero pressure to get a card. Didn't see any mean pit bosses. Dealers were patient. I had never played Free Bet Blackjack before and ended up really liking it. Was surprised that I was the only non-local playing each time. I've never run into that before in a casino. Pool: looked nice, but I only looked and didn't hang out. Gym: looked super nice, but again only looked and didn't hang out (hangs head in shame). Restaurants: Choices choices! But darn that room service is hard to top. Dislikes: Really only two. One is smoke in the Casino! Please someone ban this everywhere. Two is the reservation system here. Oh my goodness, what I went through trying to add a Monday night to our Friday through Sunday reservation. Could actually not just add it after talking to someone for I don't know how long on the phone. Finally just created a new reservation for the Monday, then had to sit through quite the process when we arrived to get the Monday added to our other reservation so we could stay in the room and get the Monday rate that was advertised. I was given a room on the 11th floor, which provided a gorgeous aerial view of the Henderson. I'm really liking this casino the more I go lately. It's always busy when I'm in there. Floor is clean & there are a lot of different slot machines on the floor. Things they could improve on some things..... they need more cashiers as the line has been a little bit of a wait. They need more cocktail waitresses on the floor & for the tables. My friend had a comped room a couple of weeks ago & I had gone to his room with him & it seemed a little worn out. I stayed there twice in the past. Once when they first opened up & then many years ago when my work Christmas party was held here. They could "freshen" up the rooms. Loosen up their slot machines cause man they're tight here! lol It's not too smokey in here. I like that their cafe is o24/7. Bathrooms have always been pretty neat & clean. Comfortable stay. 20 min away from the strip. Free self parking. Bed and sheets were so comfortable. My room had 2 sinks, 2 queen beds, bathtub and shower. Room was very clean. There is a mini refrigerator/freezer and microwave. There were 2 mini water bottles too. Even the bathroom has its own mini television built into the mirror. Being a PennPlay card holder has its advantages. I needed a 1 night stay before my timeshare was ready and was able to get a comped night at the M. I've been to the M to gamble and eat in the past but never stayed here. The rooms are beautiful and the Strip view is fabulous. Well appointed and spacious with a room darkening shade and blackout curtains help make sure you get a good night sleep. The bathroom is huge with a large soaking tub and separate stand-up shower. I liked the fact that there was a Keurig in the room and also four bottled waters. Nice little touches like that really help. The M has several fine dining restaurants from Marinelli's (Italian) to their signature steakhouse Anthony's. They also have several casual dining options like the Raiders Tavern and a coffee and dessert place called Babycakes. I tried the oxtail soup at Vic's Deli. It was different but good. The gaming floor is well spread out and has all the new slot machines as well as the older classics. There's also a large table gaming area. With several bars located throughout you won't have to search far to find a drink. Best of all parking is free and convenient. read more

This a review of our room in the West Tower at M Resort. Get Las Vegas Strip feel without being on the Strip. Forget the hustle and crowds. Our stay at the M was restful, relaxing and truly enjoyable. The room is clean, has a contemporary decor and a great view with floor to ceiling windows. The front desk staff is very accommodating. We arrived early and mentioned a family member was checking in later that night. Would it be possible to have them nearby us, at least on the same floor? Did I mention the M Resort is one of my favorite local hotels??? Clean air, very beautiful hotel, sophisticated, exclusive. There are plenty of parking lots to the hotel & casino. It seems everything is right there!!! This is my second time attending Sunday brunch at Anthony's Prime Steakhouse here, and I had to write an update because it was just as amazing as the first time. Seafood - 15/10: The seafood is incredibly fresh. We're talking shrimp, snow crab, stone crab, and lobster tail that are juicy, flavorful, and cooked to perfection. Absolutely outstanding. Meat Selection - 10/10: This time I tried the prime rib, pork loin, lamb chops, and Beef Wellington. Everything was tender, soft, and perfectly seasoned with beautiful presentation. The flavors were spot-on. Sides - 10/10: The potato scallops au gratin are dangerously delicious. They're incredibly rich and tasty - so good they're actually scary! These alone are worth the visit. I didn't even make it to the salad bar or omelet station because there's just so much variety to choose from. The selection is massive. Desserts - Perfectly Curated: The dessert menu might not be huge, but the variety is excellent and the portions are just right - not too big, not too small. I tried several (skipping things like cheesecake and mousse that aren't my style), and my absolute favorite was the pineapple upside-down cake. The texture and flavor are perfect, not too sweet, just absolutely delicious. I also tried the key lime pie, which I normally love, but it couldn't compete with that pineapple upside-down cake. Service - 100/10: The entire staff is friendly, attentive, and professional. Everyone is clearly working hard to make sure guests have an amazing experience. This review is for Patio, the outdoor dining concept by the pool. After a long pool day, we were walking out and noticed the grill with chefs cooking up some amazing looking bbq. We decided to eat there. The venue is family friendly and there was a DJ on the night we dined. There is also a bar that overlooks the pool. They have a cart of games to play at the table as well as Jenna and Connect Four on the lawn. The pear martini I ordered was refreshing and strong. We ordered a little bit of everything, the grilled chicken, brisket, steak skewers, shrimp skewers, and a side of baked beans. All of the food was delicious and the portions were a great value for the price. Donna was our server and she provided amazing hospitality and even played Jenga with my son on the lawn in her down time. He loved playing with her. Patio rotates out their menu for the seasons so for October they are featuring an Oktoberfest menu. They are also showing movies on Fridays which looks like a fun event. Review on Patio Only: Went to a watch party and I wish I could say I was impressed or that the ads/marketing matched reality...but sadly...no. The big screen is across from the bar and pool, no pool area access at night to be closer to the big screen. One of the fire pits wasn't working. Only 3 gas patio heaters and those were positioned at 2 tables...must have been a first come first served with those. No games out and available as mentioned. The hot toddy water is coming from a plastic carafe...no cinnamon sticks, no lemon juice or honey...and of course the water was cold! Even the 2nd time around it was just warm! We basically had whatever liquor they used and water. Disappointing. One bar tender for a VGK watch party and one waiter. The waiter was friendly but it was a lot for him. The BOGO half off is nice. The food having its own kitchen dedicated to it was nice too, but getting an order in was a struggle with limited staff on hand for the amount of people. read more

Stayed here recently for three days, two nights, and overall it was a nice stay. When you first walk in there is a strong cigarette smoke smell, but once you get to the room it goes away. The room itself was very nice--we had a queen bedroom with both a bathtub and a walk-in shower, plus a separate TV in the bathroom by the tub, which was a great touch. (If you're staying here with friends you can request connecting rooms). The view was amazing, and aside from a used chapstick left behind when we arrived, the room was extremely clean. Food options could definitely be improved. The pool and hot tub were also closed for the season, which was disappointing and something we wish had been available year-round. Overall, we're not sure we would stay here again, as the price felt a bit high for what was offered. read more

This used to be a gorgeous hotel when it first opened. Sadly, management is poor these days and they lost their Forbes Four Star award (it's easy to see why). They spent a fortune adding a bunch of new rooms recently but the carpet, the CARPET though out the entire rest of the casino is stained, ripped, filthy. It's embarrassing, makes the property look run down, and shows where the priorities are.... I recently stayed at M Resort & Casino for one night (December 15-16, 2025) and booked through Trip.com for an excellent price of $3.02 after using $68 in Trip.com coins. My total stay came to $117.49 after charging room service and other items to my room. I was placed in the Modern Mountain King Room in the brand new East Tower (called "Modern") that just opened on December 1st. For those who don't know, M Resort has two towers - the original is called "Luxury" and the newest is "Modern." I love how they've named them! Parking tip: If you're staying in the Modern tower, park in the South Lot - it's the easiest lot to park in and is right next to the East Tower, making it super convenient. Check-in was smooth and efficient thanks to Michael at the front desk, who was incredibly helpful and welcoming. He gave me a choice between the 2nd and 7th floors, and I opted for the 7th. What really stood out was Michael's exceptional customer service - even though I didn't book directly with the hotel, he graciously waived the $39.99 resort fee since I'm a local. He also gave me clear directions to the East Tower elevators. The room itself was clearly brand new - you could still smell fresh paint, but it wasn't bothersome. Having stayed in the Luxury tower twice before, this was a nice upgrade. The room was clean and modern. The bed was a bit firmer than I typically prefer, and the mountain view was pleasant. On the morning of December 16th, I ordered breakfast via room service and Anthony delivered it. He was absolutely wonderful - genuinely checking in on how my stay was going and asking if the A/C and heater were working properly. He even offered to bring me ice, water, or anything else I might need. Anthony's hospitality skills are truly exceptional and made my morning even better. One thing I really hope to see is the buffet reopening. If you walk by, you can see it's still there like a time capsule with everything intact. It was hands down my favorite buffet in town before Covid, and I miss it terribly. Please, Penn Entertainment, consider bringing it back! Overall, it was a fantastic stay with excellent value and outstanding service from both Michael and Anthony. The staff here really goes above and beyond. I'd definitely return to experience more of the new tower. read more

A nicer local casino, it looks and feels a bit more upscale than others, and has a more intimate feel to it, in my opinion. A shoutout to their adults-only Dream Pool (rent a cabana, you won't be sorry), and the amazing city view from Jayde 16 restaurant. Parking is ample and free. The music club just off the casino floor hosts some pretty fun acts, such as dueling pianos and small bands. The only con is their main performance space - the Pavilion- is more of an outdoor tent, with uneven flooring and simple folding chairs for seating. If that space was better, it would definitely be a 5-star resort. I can't vouch for the rooms, but everything I have experienced otherwise has been great. read more

I was really disappointed with this venue at the M Resort. It's basically a temporary setup it was all one level, using lawn chairs for seating, and no real insulation, so it was cold the whole time. The sound system was terrible. There was constant feedback and echoes made it hard to even hear the comedian properly. It completely ruined the experience and made the show much less enjoyable. This is a 2400 square foot loft suite with panoramic views of the mountains and has two levels. Nicest hotel I've stayed at in Vegas. My key card crapped out at Midnight and thankfully the reception desk was still open to replace it. That's awesome. The restaurants and bars were great, and just overall a nice place to be. The only downside was the pool and gym closed a little bit too early and the convenience store was a little too overpriced. Long-time fan... but the new tower was a sleepless night. Built cheap. Low quality. Unfortunately the M has gone from an off strip luxury hotel to a Days Inn. It's unfortunate but true. I've stayed at the M for many years (since 2010) and have always had a great experience until this stay. This time I was placed in the new tower, and it was miserable. The walls felt paper-thin, and there was noise all night. On top of that, the air conditioner was extremely loud, cycling on and off all night like a jet engine. I didn't sleep at all. I hate writing this because I've been loyal to this property for years, but the experience in the new tower felt like the quality has gone downhill. Save your money and go to a better hotel. The M used to be nice. But sadly, they've completely compromised the brand. read more

It's Sunday the 28th at 6:30 pm. We go to the top floor 16th to check in at this eatery, Jayde 16. We tried to get three seats at the bar but there were THREE people blocking the opportunity for 3 of us to sit down and watch the San Fran -Chicago game with 5 empty seats out of 8. Epic fail by the management but this gets even better! Id posted a pic of the pos who refused to move to accommodate us. I'd stay away from this monster who was no surprise to be eating there. I'd asked if they could clean the food on the floor below one of many unkept tables where people had vacated. After waiting for them to clean the floor and the table, we finally got to sit down. My wife was epically put off by the smell of the entire place. We'd waited for 15 minutes with NO SERVICE whatsoever. Finally we'd had enough of being ignored and mistreated and left to be welcomed at the Raiders Tavern downstairs. This was absolutely the worst eatery experience that I've witnessed in 30 years! I have friends who are Raiders fans. For some time, they've wanted to see the team play in Allegiant Stadium; and they wanted to stay at the "M Resort Spa Casino" (the official team hotel). We finally made the pilgrimage. But, given how the Raiders are performing this season, our stay at the M might have been the highlight of my weekend. (joke) Booking :: I booked rooms via a travel aggregation website. When we arrived at the hotel, the staff was friendly and efficient. Every team member was able to answer questions and facilitate our requests. Note: The hotel has a free shuttle available to pick you up from the airport, and to deliver you to your departing flight. However, you have to make reservations with the front desk in advance. Location :: This hotel is located away from the main tourist zones (The Strip and Fremont Street). But these areas are easy to access via ride share. Parking :: If you have your own vehicle, parking is free. Game Day Bus Service from The M to Allegiant :: On game days, the city bus service provides a direct line from the hotel to the stadium, and back again. The round-trip fare was $4.00 ! Hotel Room :: I have been a guest at many Las Vegas hotels. The rooms at The M are amongst the best I have experienced. I had a hard time identifying anything substandard about the room I received. The room layout and design were really good; tasteful; relaxing. The carpet was clean. The mattress was comfortable. The sheets were clean and bright white. The towels were fresh and in good condition. The furniture was exceptionally clean, with no noticeable nicks or chips on the surfaces. The bathroom is where you might see the most wear and tear--but I couldn't find anything. Dining Options :: I'll review specific restaurants individually, and there are various dining options in the resort. But as a general observation, you won't have to pay a premium for the convenience of dining on site. For the most part, the pricing of restaurants in the resort are comparable to similar restaurants off site. Gaming :: All of the gaming options you expect to find in Las Vegas is available on site. I do wish there were more Blackjack tables. "21" is one of the more popular table games, and all of the tables were regularly "full". read more

Visited for a conference and things were not going well. Upon entering my first room, it smelled so strongly of weed that I had no choice other than to walk back down to registration and ask for a new room. I have never done that before and the desk clerk was very accommodating. 2nd room, things went well for 24 hours. I then received a message when I was at reception for the conference saying that I would have to check out of my room the next morning and check into another room at 3pm the following day due to unexpected maintenance. I completely understand that things happen. I was not happy with the way this was handled. I went to the front desk and the response I got was 'it's not a big deal. Put all your stuff with the bell hop and check back in at 3pm'. I paid for an uninterrupted stay as well as wanting a private space to make calls and check emails during downtime at the conference. The next morning I used the chat feature to see if anything had been updated with offer of a private space while they dealt with their maintenance issue. The chat feature was absolutely horrible. The person said she was a call center and speak with the front desk. I stated I had done that. She suggested speaking with a manager but then refused to give me the manager info. I went to the desk again who again essentially said it wasn't a big deal to check out in the morning and then check back in at 3pm or later. There was no hospitality. I mentioned my concern to the conference organizers and I'm sure they said something as I was able to get a new room at lunch time during our break, and received a handwritten note from the manager. This made the difference. The entire conversation should have been handled differently. 'Hey, I'm so sorry you have to change rooms due to unexpected maintenance, but this is what we're going to do to make it right'. There was none of that from the hotel employees. 3rd room was great for the remainder of my stay. Loved the views and the bed was comfortable as well as the pillows. Nice soaking tub in the bathroom. Hotel is clean and the coffee shop is open for 24 hours. Helpful as I could not shake jet lag and was up at 4 every day. Gym is set up weird so I just walked laps of the hotel/casino.
