Formerly known as the Nomad, located inside of Park MGM you'll find the Reserve. I've stayed here a couple times before and I must say I prefer the Park rooms instead. The Reserve rooms are extremely dark, lights are dim and even flickered at times giving a "haunted mansion" vibe. From the elevator, to the hallways, to the room, it was all dark. Not gonna lie, I had to use the flashlight on my phone just to walk around! Even though the Reserve is located inside of Park MGM, there is a separate check in area/lobby for these rooms so make sure you're in the right place! All in all, it was an ok stay.

What a pleasant surprise to walk into the room that immediately felt so warm and comfortable! The high ceilings and heavy wood feel, gorgeous carpet and plush bedding was all amazing. Loved having a couch and desk in the room and the bathroom was not only spacious but luxurious. The room was peaceful and quiet, zero complaints whatsoever! And being at Park MGM was a perfect location with easy access to great food and drinks!

    Very nice room

The giant chandeliers when you first walk in are stunning and really set the mood. I love that it's connected to Aria and Bellagio so you can bounce between them without going outside. The restaurants are all on the second floor with a really great variety of options to choose from. It definitely draws a younger crowd, which makes the energy feel fun and lively. I'm looking forward to trying the Wicked Spoon buffet on my next trip. Definitely one of my favorite spots on the Strip. Already planning to come back soon!

Cosmopolitan has always been our go-to hotel for celebrating milestones and quick Vegas getaways…read more The gorgeous casino, Chandelier Bar, and different food options make this feel like an all inclusive for us so we've been coming here since they opened, which makes this experience even more disappointing. We're in Vegas for the weekend celebrating a birthday. Day 1 was decent overall, aside from the strong moldy smell in our room. We brushed it off because we spent most of the day out enjoying Vegas and were looking forward to our second night in a different room under another reservation. Day 2 started off much better. We moved rooms and were happy with the "upgrade" until we came back later that night ready to shower and wind down. There was no mold smell in the room but shower was completely filled with standing water because the drain was totally clogged. It was disgusting. There was no way I was stepping into what felt like a cesspool of who-knows-what. I went down to the front desk to report the issue and was assured someone would come "right away." We called at 9:30 PM. Maintenance didn't arrive until 12:44 AM -- nearly three and a half hours later. By that point, our entire night was ruined. Instead of relaxing, we spent hours waiting around for a basic issue to be addressed. To make matters worse, throughout our stay we repeatedly overheard hotel employees openly complaining about the number of guests, making comments like, "These people need to go home." It was uncomfortable and honestly disappointing to hear as paying guests who have supported this property for years. And "it's EDC weekend" shouldn't be the reason for sub-par service. What's most frustrating is that this isn't our first stay here. We've been loyal guests since opening and have come to expect a certain level of quality and service from Cosmopolitan. Moldy rooms, unusable showers, delayed maintenance, and staff openly expressing frustration toward guests is not the experience you expect from a property at this price point. On a positive note, I was connected with Operations Manager Brandon at checkout. He said he would make this right but needed time to deliver SO to be continued. Also, shoutout to the housekeeping staff, who were always friendly as we walked through the corridors. Really disappointing stay from what used to be one of our favorite places in Vegas. I'll update this post to let everyone know how Cosmopolitan responds.

When I am paying $$$ for a luxury hotel stay, I don't think it's unreasonable to expect a Keurig or Nespresso machine in the room to provide basic coffee and tea. I'm sure it has to do with funneling money into concessions by forcing guests to get coffee at one of the merchants downstairs. This is really my only gripe. So with that out of the way... Check-in was very easy. My room was ready about 45 minutes before check-in. Staff at the front desk were kind and efficient. I had a Sphere view room on the 26th floor. Very pleased with the view! I probably wouldn't spring for Sphere view a second time but it was nice to have for my first stay there. I appreciated the extra safety measure of having to "card in" to go to the elevator to the rooms. The room was impeccably clean and spacious. The room is more like a studio apartment with no wall or door to divide between sleeping and living space. The bed was comfortable. Two large TV's - one in the common/living space and one in the sleeping area. The bathroom was large, clean, and had plenty of towels. Appreciated the seated vanity. Water pressure in the shower wasn't great but this seems to be normal for pretty much all hotels. They seem to have good soundproofing because not once did I hear any neighbors, no people noises from the hallway, and no doors to other rooms closing loudly. The hotel is huge. Initially it feels overwhelming but you quickly figure out how to get around. Lots of helpful signage. Casino is spacious, clean, and very well ventilated. People were smoking but I didn't smell it. Games are unsurprisingly tight. There is a massive amount of dining options. I had several outstanding meals. I heard a lot about how expensive Vegas is but coming from the Bay Area I felt like the dining prices were about the same, if not less in some instances. Pro tip: There's a Walgreens just outside the hotel where you can get water and other sundries for much less than inside the hotel. The mall was more of a touristy thing. Aside from Louis Vuitton, I didn't see anything that compelled me to want to shop. I did like the feeling of being "outdoors". I appreciated that pretty much everything you want or need is within the Venetian. Unless you have some outside attraction to go to, you can literally stay within the hotel and be satisfied and entertained. Leaving was so simple. Check-out is available online. There's a queue with endless taxis to take you wherever you want to go. As expensive as this hotel can be, I would be hard pressed to stay somewhere else while in Vegas.

Rooms are gorgeous, views were amazing (we stayed on the 50th floor). Pool area had plenty of seating and we could hear the music from the 21+ area. Fun, classy European vibe. Free parking for locals and hotel guests. A plus in a town that nickel and dimes you for everything. So many food options! We tried Mother Wolf (separate review for that). As we waited for reservation we decided to get a drink at one of their bars- unfortunately the bar across from the restaurant had a stressed out bartender (Asian woman) so we decided to check out Collin's (recommended by the host of Mother Wolf. Was very good and the best food I had in the casino thus far besides the burger in the food hall. The hotel is still pretty new and very slow in comparison to others. 2/5 on room cleanliness. Crumbs on the nightstand, semi clean bathroom, old hand prints all over the door to the toilet, when I removed the last towel from the rack under the sink lots of old hairs. As far as newer hotels on the strip I'd recommend Resorts World based on room cleanliness alone. Pool area was cool but loud, not super relaxing but good overall. Bad service. The waiters kept walking past us but taking everyone's order around us. We walked to the bar.

Not just stuff people dropped on the floor. The room service chocolate chip cookies were great. I also had an issue when I got an email about my upcoming stay, a reservation was booked in error under me for the next week. My host booked my reservation but not the second reservation that was showing up. I went to the VIP area by the front desk to have the reservation cancelled, the other VIP room by the elevators was closed for renovations. It was 7:45 pm on 5/10, the woman in the VIP nook ignored me for at least 5 minutes while she was restocking the snacks. She said she was closing soon, and I told her I would like an upcoming stay cancelled because it was a mistake and she told me she couldn't help me and I should go to the front desk or call reservations. I was supposed to stay 4 nights but decided cut my trip short and leave 5/12 around 1 pm, and the woman in the VIP nook who checked me out was very nice and helpful. There was a man working security in the high limit room on 5/12 around noon, he was such a great guy and a pleasure to chat with. I also had a great server at Yellowtail on 5/11. I usually get a survey after my trips but didn't get one this time, so that's why I decided to post about it here.

I go to several local adult venues in town. I have never ONCE even considered learning the address of Whispers. There is no connection to anyone I know, either. I wonder where they took my car and what they did to/in it. Please get an interior camera for your car. Put an AirTag in the TRUNK, as well. However, for those of us who come to Vegas often, staying at those hotels often means higher prices and headaches with navigating around the busy traffic. Having stayed at most of the larger hotels (The Luxor, The Bellagio, Encore at Wynn, Park MGM etc) I've had my fill of the dazzling lights and boisterous crowds. I do recommend you try these hotels at least a few times to truly soak in the bustle of Las Vegas night life. For me, I prefer to stay adjacent to, but not within, The Strip. This way, I can have some comfort in a quieter setting and can call an uber at any moment to meet friends along The Strip. This was the reason I chose Nirvana Hotel. Situated right next to The Luxor and The Mandalay Bay, it is both affordable and close to the attractions I come to Vegas for. The exterior is a bit off-putting at first. You aren't greeted with the pristine fountained welcome that you expect from Vegas--the wonderful precession of marble floors, the lush green plants, the ornate chandeliers. The main check-in station is inside the souvenir shop which resembles that of a run down gas station. Service is quick and the check-in process is painless. Their doors all use numbers so you don't have to worry about misplacing your card. Just don't get so drunk you forget! I really love all the new touches and also enjoy the touches they kept from the previous franchise. After a long drive and plane ride, it's nice to chat with people who are genuinely engaged in getting to know about your stay. Staff was professional and the atmosphere is much calmer compared to most casino hotels in Las Vegas, which can actually be a big plus if you want a more relaxed environment. One important thing to know - if your room is on a lower floor, don't expect much of a view. Some lower-floor rooms face the back side of nearby buildings and the experience is completely different compared to the higher floors. I would strongly recommend asking for a higher floor upgrade if possible, because the views are significantly better and really change the overall impression of the hotel. The fact that the hotel is non-casino is actually nice and makes the property feel more peaceful and less chaotic than many Vegas resorts. Overall, a good hotel, but room location and floor level make a huge difference here.
