The restaurant is separated into two main areas, with an earth-tone color scheme that has a rustic, almost cave-like aesthetic. The high ceilings and floor-to-ceiling windows keep the dining room open and spacious. The tapas menu had a good selection, and we decided on several items: pan con tomate, sweet potato rolls, chicken cannelloni, bacon-wrapped figs, croquettes, falafel, and a charcuterie board. All the tapas were great - my favorites were the chicken cannelloni, pan con tomate, and the charcuterie board. The cannelloni especially was a standout - definitely a unique dish, and the chicken was super flavorful. We opted for dessert, and got the feta whip cheesecake - this was great as well. The combination of tang and sweet was a good finisher to our meal. Service was great - everyone was friendly and our dishes were served at a good pace. Waren am 23.5.2010 dort. Die Location sieht sehr gut aus, direkt am Strand. Man muss resevieren, was wir taten. Gegen 21.30 Uhr angekommen, gab es einen Platz auf der Terasse der nicht wirklich gut war. Beim vorbeilaufen der hektischen Kellner, vibrierten die Bohlen so, dass unser Tisch regelmäßig erschüttert wurden. Die Essenportionen sind vergleichbar mit dem einer Sterneküche. Leider ist das Essen nur Durchschnitt, nichts besonderes. Dafür war der Preis zu hoch und die Portion zu klein. Wir bekamen 3 Vorspeisen statt 2 serviert. Tja, was war nur die nicht bestellte? Nach Probieren fanden wir es raus und sagten dem Kellner das hier eine Speise zu viel ist. Der war etwas konsterniert, da von der Speise schon gegessen war. Die Rechnung kam, ein Bier darauf, was wir nicht bestellt hatten und auch eine Vorspeise die der bestellten sehr ähnelt, aber teurer war. Nach Reklamation strich man da Bier aber fing an wegen der Vorspeise zu diskutieren, ala wir hätten es gegessen und somit zu bezahlen. Das der Kellner aber einen Fehler beim servieren gemacht hat, wollte man sich nicht eingestehen. Am Ende dem Kellner klar gemacht, dass er ein Problem hat und das nun lösen soll. Dies tat er auch mit einigem Murren. In so einem Restaurant erwarte ich, dass man nicht mit dem Gast diskutiert. Fazit: Diese Restaurant sieht mich nicht wieder. Für das gebotene Essen ist der Preis zu teuer, die Kellner springen und laufen rum als wenn sie beim Marathon sind und sind so arrogant, dass Sie mit dem Gast das diskutieren anfangen. Ein No go. Es gibt an der Promenade noch andere Läden direkt neben dem Agua. Probiert die. Evtl. sind die besser. read more

Upon entering, guests are greeted by a stunning view of the beach, given the prime beachfront location. I visited early, around 5 PM, when the atmosphere was pleasantly less crowded. I chose indoor seating, as smoking is permitted in the outdoor dining area. The norm is bottled water in Barcelona. The waiter offered thoughtful recommendations, which I appreciated. The food at Agua was delicious, greatly enhancing my overall experience at Barcelona. I would highly recommend Agua to others. read more

Terrible Customer Service Never come back again. Manager very rude. We ordered a prawns paella and we didn't like it. Was disgusting, very bad flavor and smell. We ordered another plate and when we asked for the check they charged me €22 for the disgusting rice, I called the manager and she was rude and nasty and she said it's nothing she can do. I told her I will never come back again to this restaurant and she answered me, "I don't care". read more
