Fast forward to Jose showing up literally the SAME DAY I called when others that said WEEKS! We talked, he LISTENED (big thing to me) and did an estimate. I didn't even bother to get other estimates at this point because he was the ONLY one to show any concern about my house. The work was done in a timely fashion with no upselling at any point and when tiles were found to be cracked (previously undetected) he simply used the spares I had without trying to make a buck selling me new ones! Absolutely great service! Now, for the best part. Almost a year later I have the problems return. Jose comes back out, inspects and takes care of it all! Mind you, it was raining off & on and things are getting wet and he comes out the same day and does a temp repair to stop any damage. Thankfully the rain stopped. His schedule was jammed he told me and to expect them in a few days. But then they show up the next day and hammer it all out!! NOW THAT IS SERVICE. Don't hesitate, call Roofing Craftsmen.

Every time it rained! We had our roof replace six years ago, partially to resolve the leaking problem. The roofer said the leaks were the fault of the chimney and not in his wheelhouse. The chimney guys said it was a roofing problem. Neither did anything about it. Mr. Skylight looked at the leaking skylight and said it couldn't be fixed and we needed to buy a new skylight, which we politely declined. I was at wits end and a friend suggested I call Jose at Roofing Craftsmen. They re-worked the roofing on the area around the chimney and skylight and voila...a few days later an atmospheric river came by for days and not a single leak! Why did it take 10 years to find them? Last week I had a complicated problem with a downspout and they fixed it with a simple solution the next day. You cannot go wrong with Roofing Craftsman.

Their crew was incredibly well organized--almost choreographed--and completed the entire job in one day. Even my neighbors commented on how impressive they were. I was so happy with the experience that I recommended Capstone to my mother for her home in Windsor. They were extremely responsive, even repairing an active leak the very day we signed the contract, and then completed her new roof right on schedule. When an issue arose with the driveway, they took care of that as well. From start to finish, Capstone has been responsive, professional, reliable, and a pleasure to work with. I would recommend them without hesitation.

I did not have a good experience with Capstone Roofing, starting with their phone representative…read more During our initial call, she tried to end the conversation multiple times before I could ask questions about additional services such as skylight installation, insulation, gutters, and solar panel removal/replacement (which had already been coordinated with the solar company). The company also uses large 4-hour appointment windows (8 AM-12 PM or 12 PM-4 PM) for inspections. As a landlord, I was uncomfortable sitting outside the property for hours waiting for the technician to arrive, as I did not want to appear intrusive or make tenants uncomfortable. The phone representative assured me the technician would call before arriving, but that did not happen. Overall, the experience reflected poor customer service and poor communication between departments from the very beginning. Based on my experience, I would not recommend Capstone Roofing.

Our roof Foreman Omar was fantastic. He went above and beyond to give us installation expectations and was able to communicate potential work order changes needed to bring our roof up to code. Omar also went above and beyond to work with helping clean up our neighbor's yard. There was windy weather that blew some of our material into their yard which didn't go unnoticed. We didn't know this till after roof completion and our neighbors were impressed by the thoughtfulness of the guys working. Our project Manager Johnathan was also a great source of help through this process and was very understanding and sympathetic to our unfortunate unknowns that needed to be fixed. From start to finish he was able to walk us through the difficult navigation of cost and what absolutely needed to be fixed right. He was direct, knowledgeable, and able to work through the hard conversations with us as owners and we greatly appreciated all the help we received. We received an all new roof, gutters, downspouts, and lots of wood work to bring everything up to code. We were impressed with all of their work from start to finish and extremely impressed with the finished results.

I am not new to contractor work and have specifically worked with roofing contractors in the past. John by far has been one of the best people I have had to work with. He is "old school" and professional. He is a straight shooter and will get straight to the point. He is punctual and is a man of his word. I appreciate his candidness and his professionalism. In today's working society, they don't make them like John anymore. John is a resource of knowledge. He uses that knowledge to benefit his customer. He came with many references and I found him through word of mouth. I actually saw the many praises through the NextDoor app. Surprisingly enough, he actually did the roof of 4 houses in my immediate surrounding neighborhood. John's team works efficiently and got the job done right. He addressed all of the problems he faced and made sure they were corrected. His team is very courteous and cleans up every day! It's almost like they were never there on a daily basis. He did all the work within his quoted price and did not go one penny over budget. Mind you his price was the most reasonable and economical out of the four quotes I received. A great sign that John is always thinking of his customers is when he apologetically had to reschedule his initial visit with me as he had to make a project weather tight due to a last minute rainstorm that was unexpected. I strongly recommend his work if you can get into his schedule. He does stay busy despite not actively advertising. (He's been doing this for years!) The cool bonus is you get to see his cool blue truck in action. My little one enjoyed the truck sitting in our driveway and also seeing the bed loft in action.
