Kailua has Classic Waves…read more.. Kailua has some of the cutest shop and I just couldn't resist shopping here as they have some cute items various collection and know exactly what to carry. This cozy shop is filled right from the door all sorts of artsy items easily shop for my besties...and myself lol! Looking for something unique to send to my friends out to the states is challenging at times as the usual items found in Waikiki isn't as crafted with the local flair that we all love, tastefully chosen items are so appreciated. Some of that flair is found here which makes it easy and fun as well besides supporting local is something we all must do along with the helpful and kind staff shopping in Kailua is the classic way to go whenever I'm in the area. Shopping in Manoa, Honolulu, Hawaii…read more.. My friend, Angel, wanted to return something that she had purchased at the University of Hawaii (UH) volleyball game at the Stan Sherrif Center. She knew that the UH Bookstore would be able to do the transaction, so I went along to take a look... Wow... The Bookstore seems gigantic and modern now! The choices for merchandise have really expanded! There are more products, styles, and designs for everything! For example... The clothing selection... from sweatpants to t-shirts and hoodies... gosh... we never had so much to choose from! Another observation was the accessories department. I don't think bucket hats were popular back in the day... I also saw beanies - which are hardly worn in the 50th State, but they would make great conversational gifts! The clear bags for stadium use were tempting. I like the UH logo... the logo was also on a Santa Hat! Well... I did buy some gifts... I know now where to shop if I need more! P.S. they also carry Eden In Love reusable tote bags - even a crossbody version!

I went to the bookstore at Campus Center to return an item I purchased at the Stan Sheriff Center. They were running a promo where you could get 20% an apparel item. I wanted a Nike Rainbow Warriors shirt, but they only had the green hoodie. They had mostly Champion Warriors shirts. They were ok. The return process was fast and easy. The guy working there just scanned my receipt and had me insert my credit card in the machine. The charge was refunded to my card.

The food wasn't coming from here, but my daughter just had to see what was inside. So we came in to just look. Sugarcane is this cute shop where you can find all these locally made items for a gift, for the home, fir kids, for a friend, or for visitors. They have books, puzzles, toys jewelry, totes, bags, coasters and more. I love the wooden toys for the kids. I bought a wooden cell phone, a camera, stickers and a cute cooking set. They are my kiddos favorite toys. I've gotten key chains and jewelry for gifts. We have coasters for our home too. The workers are pretty friendly and they also wrapped my gift item too. The items seem pricey, but they are locally made and are unique. I don't think you'll find any ship with the same kind of item that Sugarcane carries. Overall, this is a great place to get gifts and maybe something for yourself. Beware of bringing your children. They will make you buy everything.
