I would not recommend AG Smart Garage. My garage door wouldn't function, and the indicator lights on the sensors suggested it was an alignment issue or the sensor was broken. My wife called AG Smart Garage out, and the technician tried to sell her a full lift replacement for $1195. When I pointed out by text message that it was likely a sensor issue, the technician quoted $169 for labor and $250 for replacement sensors. I ordered replacement sensors from the original manufacturer (Garage Genie) for under $50 from their website, spent 20 minutes replacing the sensor, and the door now works again. That's an unacceptable level of upsell from AG Smart Garage. read more

My garage door opener died on me, and so I went the easy route and had Home Depot install a new one. The technician from Home Depot arrived and refused to install the garage door opener since he said my door was unbalanced. So I called up AG Smart Garage, who had previously replaced the springs on the door. Their guy showed up and promptly started diagnosing the problem. He weighed the door, installed new springs, and even replaced the rollers. This improved the balance of the door, but ultimately it was determined that my track needed to be replaced. Rather than trying to upsell me on an entire new garage door and track, AG Smart Garage apologized that they were not able to fully solve the problem and gave me the new springs and rollers for free. I love my new garage door opener. I wasn't totally convinced that I needed to spend that much on a single car opener, (Liftmaster). I am so thankful that I did. I'm loving the oh so quiet operation and the Amazon Key delivery capability. But most of all, the best feature for me is the auto illumination when I enter the garage from my house. I often have my hands full and there is no need to fumble for the light switch. I simply step into the garage and the motion sensor kicks on the light. I used Yelp's get Quote button and got many calls right away. AG was one of the callers. I took three appointments to get quotes for the broken spring. I was very glad to hear Adi who answered my text and he came to the house in order to give me the quote in person. Adi was respectful and honest about pricing. The other two tried to make me feel like I didn't know what I was asking and made it seem like springs were the wrong size, etc. Also used scared tactics like "those springs are really expensive!!" well, I looked on Amazon and other websites and realized that they were trying to charge me twice as much. Adi was the only person that was honest with the pricing on the parts and labor. I will use them again, I actually prob would not have used AG since they only have one review but I am glad I was able to use them. I would say worry-free, talk to other companies but I would also talk to AG before making any decisions. I had my appointment on Friday and they were here Monday morning, and in a couple of hours, they were done.
