I had the absolute best service by this company. I requested assistance through Yelp and this was the first company to answer and talk to me over the weekend. We weren't sure what route to go, but the owner gave us options; we didn't feel pushed into buying anything we didn't want. Though it wasn't an emergency I appreciated the prompt response and action by the owner to get my garage door up and running again. By the end of the call on Saturday, I had a scheduled appointment in minutes Tuesday. The whole process was smooth. They also have text updates of job date/time, arrival updates, completion or job completion too. Another plus is they have various options to pay. Our technician Chris was very professional and knowledgeable while completing the service requested.. Overall, highly impressed with the quality of work and very responsibly priced services. Highly recommend this company and have already told my nearby family. read more

Great Service, very professional with reasonable prices, especially compared to other companies that I contacted. I highly recommend this company to everyone, as a matter of fact I have used them on a couple of occasions and I have never been disappointed. read more

Very knowledgeable and the job was done right. Our daughter told us of them based on her experiences and we are glad she did.

I contacted this company to have a keypad replaced on my garage. It turns out the keypad was broken and I needed a new one. Because my garage door opener was so old, the technician didn't have that model of keypad available but sent me the link to Menards who did have it so I bought it from there. I contacted Garage Doors and More and they came out the next day to install it. While there the technician noted that the tracks for the rollers were bent, the track was bone dry and needed oil, and the safety feature that stops the garage door from slamming on something was at an incorrect height. The installation of the keypad, as well as all of the issues above were taken care of for a mere $103.50. I am so happy with the results. read more

I had a fast response and an appointment on the day I requested. They were on time and actually sent a text ( with a picture of who to except) giving me the exact ETA. The job was less expensive than originally quoted because I didn't need all the things done that I thought would need to be done. Honest, dependable work... I highly recommend! read more

Excellent service with ease of obtaining an appointment. They were able to fix our problem with a malfunctioning opener and did a complete inspection and servicing of our both doors. Reasonable cost and fast, efficient work. Highly recommended! read more

This was the second time we used the services of Garage Door and More. The first occasion was to replace a broken door string. This time, we did a full door replacement. On both occasions, we found them very responsive and timely in handling our request. Our technician, Chris worked very quickly when doing the spring replacement and was the same technician for the door replacement. He did great work! We also liked that when calling for the door replacement, the office had all the details regarding our equipment (from the first job) which made selection of a new door extremely easy. As for value, we didn't do any price comparisons. We felt the workmanship was worth the cost and strongly recommend Garage Door and More read more

Garage Doors And More were notably professional, responsive, and fairly priced. We needed two new garage door openers (both were 23 yrs old and noisy). The technician did a great job (was knowledgeable and courteous), and the product and ancillary controls work great. Will use for future needs. read more

Garage Doors and More - Garage Door Services Near Me - Grayslake, Illinois

Awesome service! From initial contact, to my issue being resolved, was less than 24 hours. This kind of service is definitely not what we have come to expect. Our garage door kept opening back up as soon as it was closed. I contacted Garage Doors and More via the link on Yelp, explaining the issue. Beau responded within just a a few minutes, with some additional questions. I provided the additional information requested and, again, the response was nearly immediate. At this point I wanted to speak to Beau, and asked him to call me. Once I spoke to Beau, and all of my questions/concerns were answered, we scheduled an appointment for the following morning. Chris and David arrived, when they said they would arrive The time it took to replace my garage door opener and new keypads, was exactly what I was told it would be. The new unit works great, and doesn't sound like a freight train. The cost was much less than I had anticipated - I should have done it when we purchased the home 2.5 years ago! I would definitely recommend Garage Doors and More for anything relating to garage doors. read more

Great svc, very friendly, prompt and fast. Only did what's needed, very reasonable price (compl service + replace the seal all around for about the same as I previously paid for sec only). read more

They are not coming out to my home all the time (thankfully), but when they do, Garage Doors and More are timely, consistently professional, accurate in what they say, and do good work. I have had a couple of springs replaced and recently needed to replace my opener. The price was fair vs. the value and Garage Doors and More was out that day. The entire process was easy from start to completion. I would recommend them to anyone who need this type of service, read more

Great service! Easy to schedule. Showed up on time, fixed and serviced the door all for only $100. Will use again.

My garage door spring broke the day before I was to get my garage floor resurfaced and painted. This would require the garage door to be opened, however, that was not the case. In a panic, I called this company who was able to come out the next morning at 8am, whereas the paint crew was to be here at 9am. They showed up on time, and replaced both springs (per my request). Now THAT's service! read more

Came out same day to fix, nice, professional, and quick! The price was also good. Will call them again if there is any new difficulty.

Garage Doors and More installed 2 new double doors on our garages. They look great and work great. Recently had our floors coated and we had a problem with one of the doors not going down all the way before going back up. Garage Doors and More was out within a couple hours to repair. They realigned the sensors and the door works great again. They even repaired a broken button cover that was damaged after being removed for painting. I didn't even mention it during the repair call. Over and above. Highly recommend! read more

Chris came out and was fantastic. Did a service on the door. We had issues with the opener and he didn't push a new one. However, what we couldn't get to happen happened again and he came back the next day and had the new opener installed in a little over an hour. Great service, but better professionalism. You can't go wrong with these guys. read more

Great Service at a great price! I highly recommend them for any garage door issues. Very easy to schedule as well.

Great company to do business with. They were very responsive and timely to my request. They installed a new, modern garage door opener in my home at a price that was reasonable. The installer showed up on time, was professional, and answered all my questions. I would definitely call them again. In fact, I already have called them to install a replacement panel in a garage door at another property. read more

Having broken a cable on a Sunday afternoon, I reached out to Garage Doors and More for assistance and an appointment. Beau was kind enough to set aside some personal chores on his day off to help explain what steps I needed to take to secure the garage. Tuesday morning came and GD&M arrived, fixed the cable, adjusted the tension spring and even made a change to the way the opener was installed. It now runs quieter and better than ever. Highly recommend Garage Doors and More! read more

Who would have guessed that one of my best customer service experiences ever has come from a local, garage door company? However, that is exactly what this review is about. My large (and heavy) garage door decided to call it quits, damaging the door and rails after experiencing a cable break. I looked online for a well-reviewed garage door repair and found Garage Doors and More with excellent reviews. When I booked the appointment, they told me the technician would be there at 11:00am on Wednesday. I immediately received a text confirming the visit timing. At 10:40am on Wednesday, I received a text indicating the tech was on his way. In addition, it provided his name (Chris) and a photo so I would know he was legit. He pulled in at exactly 11:00am. He was polite, helpful, informative and got right to work. I was expecting a +$500 estimate but he found many of the things I was worried about were unfounded. The final estimate was around $250 all in. He did a great job repairing the door, tightening the chain, and cleaning up when done. It is MUCH quieter after the repair. He was finished within 2 hours and on his way. A great experience all in. But then, I received a hand-written thank you note from the owners thanking me for the business and offering to answer any follow-up questions or concerns. No concerns here - only appreciation for a company that knows how to create loyal customers. Obviously, I could not recommend Garage Doors and More for any of your garage needs more strongly. read more

Everything you might have heard about GD&M is true! Prompt and punctual, very competitive pricing (in an age where everybody seems to be gouging) and best of all they did a great job replacing the torsion springs. When it comes time to replace the door opener I will be reaching out to Garage Doors and More. read more

We were so happy a few years ago when Garage Doors came out and installed our new doors. It was a simple process of picking what we wanted and them being prompt and thorough in the installation. I just recently had a a little contact with the bottom of one door and Garage Doors was out there the next day to help get it fixed. Love that they are family owned and just nice people!! read more
