I brought my Lexus LS because of my check light. As it turn out it was a broken valve cap. Instead of just replacing the cap Alex changed out all the water hose. As he was working on it he noticed my chain belt is longer tight so I ask him to change out as well. The bottomline, Alex was quite honest about the problem. And, the Customer Service Tony is great. Good communication. Best of all, the car has been running smooth since. HIGHLY recommended. read more

They are the BEST! They go above and beyond what needs to be done, get it done on time and within the estimate, and do really fine work. And Alex, Toni and the AG family are beautiful people doing excellent work. read more

AG Auto Care - Palm Desert, CA I brought my Nissan Rogue to AG Auto Care after the overhead console suddenly fell down--likely due to heat and poor design, as confirmed by the service department at Torre Nissan. Both Torre Nissan and Palm Springs Nissan quoted me $350 just to replace the unit! Mind you, this is for a part that likely shouldn't have failed in the first place. Thankfully, AG Auto Care stepped in. They were honest, helpful, and handled the issue quickly without charging me an outrageous amount. I truly appreciate their integrity and willingness to help when the dealership wouldn't. Highly recommend them for anyone tired of being upsold by the dealerships. Local, reliable, and fair! read more

Awful service, or lack thereof ! I wasn't able to have any work done after a two day wait to get in. Spent 20min on the phone begging them to get me in or be put on a cancelation list. I was in from WA. state when my truck died. They ASSURED Me they could squeeze me in in Two days. I arrived at opening time and nobody knew anything about my plight. They turned me away (stranded) with NO explanation. They wouldn't even hear me out, let alone discuss with me. Came highly recommended but I'd rather miss Christmas in the Pacific Northwest with my family next week then reccomend or give them business! DO NOT TRUST WHAT THEY SAY over the phone. They are AWFUL LIERS! read more

AG Auto Care - 3 Generations of Toyota MR-2's - Oil Change Stations Near Me - Palm Desert, California

I went to their shop early on Monday without an appointment for engine light check. They were very busy but willing to accommodate me if I didn't mind waiting. I agreed to wait without hesitation. Alex was able to do the scan test and found the error number. I needed an EVAP monitor because of a leak. They ordered the part and I went back this morning and they did the repair. I highly recommend AG Auto Repair in Palm Desert. read more

If I could give this shop more than 5 stars I would. I have deep automotive background and have been working on my own stuff since I could drive. I only have a few shops I trust to work on my stuff and AG auto care is added to my list. The front desk was very attentive with calling and updates. Alex, the owner was very honest with everything and such a fast turnaround. I highly recommend this place. This will be my new shop to take my wife's car for regular service. Thanks again AG!! read more

I can't say enough about my customer experience with AG AUTO CARE. As a new customer (I was referred to them by a friend) I was prepared to be met with the usual inflated pricing and add-ons that customarily come with getting your car repaired. But not so with AG. Both Alex and Mayra are warm, friendly, highly professional and above all HONEST! They are not out to gouge their customers and this becomes immediately obvious when you meet them in person. I highly recommend this shop to all my friends and family and will now be a loyal customer. Edward Schorr read more

AG auto care is the best in the valley! Alex and his entire staff are warm and always hospitable. He is the most honest, knowledgeable and reliable mechanic in the industry right now. Always at a reasonable price. I don't take my car to be serviced anywhere else but here. For integrity and honesty, take your car to Alex. You won't regret it. This man has a passion for what he does. It's clearly obvious when you speak with him. Always smiling. It's rare to find a genuine mechanic now a days. Amazing customer service. Thanks for all the work. AG auto care Rocks!!! read more

The following review is from a family member who doesn't have their own yelp account. "I was recommended to this shop and have been here multiple times. Each time I visit, the staff and owner(Alex) are very professional and honest. I definitely recommend this shop and I'm now a customer for life. - Anita" read more

This location is towards the back with dedicated parking solely for the business. The customer service is phenomenal! They will go out of their way to help identify the issue or even let you know what is wrong before beginning any type of work. I highly recommend Erik working on your vehicle because he is knowledgeable and thorough. He was extremely respectful and was able to explain the problem with his course of action in fixing my vehicle. I went to 2 other shops that either could not help or would not help me(stay away from Firestone and Midas). These guys are professionals and put the extra effort in getting you back on the road. The pricing is very fair and was not disappointed. Overall 5 stars and highly recommend coming here for any type of engine and vehicle problem. The customer service and knowledge sets them apart from the rest. read more

New to the area and my truck needed some repair. Alex the owner is nice, diagnosed the problem accurately and repaired for a good price. Even gave a first time customer discount. Give him a try. Thanks Smog Dog for referring me to AG. read more

I went in for an oil change and when it was done, they told me all tires need to be replaced. I went to America's tires and it turned out only my front tires need replacement. My rear tires are brand new. AG lied to me. read more

I won't take my car anywhere else. Your not just a number here and your job is not just a line item on an invoice. When you go to Ag Alex and Monica and Karla make you feel like a part of the family. Your going to want to retain this place for all of your cars service. Backed by a nationwide warranty is nice too. Stop looking for the next cheapest guy every time you need something. Loyalty is key especially when it comes to your car, and AG recognizes that too. read more

My experience at A.G. Toyota was very positive. I needed a new brake actuator for my Toyota Prius and they were able to fix it and did a great job, and for far less money than what the dealership would have cost. I would suggest A.G. Toyota to anyone who has a Toyota and needs an emergency repair or just even for maintenance. read more

This business is failing, and for good reason. Alex told his front desk today that if I paid about $90.00 for an oil change for my FJ Cruiser, he'd do a little extra work on the car, so I said okay. The extra work was not done when I picked up the car, and Alex had no explanation for why I was told work would be done that was not done. Alex's conduct indicated it was not a mistake, but intentional (he walked away murmuring "thank you, thank you," instead of answering my questions as to why he did not do what was promised). Anyone who behaves this way is not doing well in business. I went straight to the Toyota dealer and was informed that I was overcharged by this A & G for the oil change - it's only $42.00 at the Toyota dealer. read more

This is the only place I trust with my vehicle. Excellent service and attentive staff. I know that when ever I take my car in I'm getting a great price for an unmatched service in the valley.
